- Walk-in, got seated immediately, place was busy. The place was reasonably priced.

- Ordered hot chocolate, Baja chicken omelette.

- Hot chocolate, no whipped cream was warm and just right. It’s from a machine and had to get it remade, too watery as machine was out of powder. Waitress was nice about it and replaced it immediately.

- Omelette was fresh, chicken was well cooked, salsa was right. The side of sourdough and crispy potatoes were all great. The portion sizes were generous, would be a good brunch as well. I’d order again.“

“Holmes Hotdogs and catering may be the best local restaurant you could ever have the pleasure of visiting. I first came here over a year ago and I knew then it was something special. If I had a friend from another country visiting, and I could choose one place to show them a true slice of what America should be, I would take them here without a second thought. Holmes has a small menu, and I believe it is perfect. Because of their small menu, I believe they are able to assure every single item on it is made with quality and care. They recently added a new item, the bird dog, to their menu. The bird dog features a chicken tender, pickles, and honey mustard on a hot dog bun. I thought the bird dog was incredible, and I'll be sure to get it again with onions next time. I would personally recommend their chicken sandwich, which is always piping hot and made to order, and their sausage dogs, which I personally believe are their standout menu items, especially with sauerkraut and onions topping them. Holmes has an atmosphere unlike any other restaurants I've ever been in, you can tell the owner and employees truly care about not just the quality of their food and service, but also the wellbeing of their community. I've never felt like I don't belong when I walk into Holmes. I've wrote all of this without even mentioning their incredible prices, which are comparable to other local locations, however the quality of the food, service, and everything else about Holmes is what makes this location worth so much more than any other in the area. Out of anything I've ever reviewed, Holmes has worked the hardest and consistently proved their 5 star rating, and I have no doubt if I reviewed them in another year, they would continue to hold it.“

First off, the large order is HUGE! Sooooo good! The flavor was on point. We also got a few burgers, and they were also awesome! I love that the ranch is homemade. I have enjoyed everything I have had there, ribs, BBQ chicken, pork tenderloin, and brisket, but my favorite is their pulled pork BBQ plate with greenbeans and cole slaw, the best ever! “Get it while you can, this is a dying breed. Quintessential Gen X burger place. My whole visit just now could have been an hour of MTV from the 80’s with the Bowl game on all TV’s. Not being a burger person, I opted for the chicken tenders this time. Not the best, but okay. My husband and his brother were with me and they are both burger eaters, so they were both quite satisfied. The sweet potato fries were excellent, as were the regular potato wedge fries. I highly recommend the fry sauce. There is an extensive bakery menu and excellent shakes. Restrooms were exceptionally clean.“

The handicap ramp is nearby to get onto the sidewalk if you need that.We come here almost weekly for brunch. Staff is efficient. They can make various coffee drinks. They take call in orders too.
