I chose the spicy Thai mango, and it was enjoyable. Unfortunately, I noticed I was charged full price for the drink and alcohol tax, though no alcohol was purchased. “My husband & I had lunch today at Craves, first time in you new place. We sat in dining room, beautiful, not cramped very pretty. Our waitress was Marina M. She told us the specials and we decided to each try a small plate along lunch. My husband loved the Mussels in red sauce so much, Marina brought him a spoon because he didn’t want to leave the sauce. Food was delicious, prices reasonable and Marina times the servings perfectly, refilled our water, and couldn’t have been more pleasant. A great experience, love the new place especially for the uncrowded feeling, easier parking and decor & cleanliness, bathroom included. “We went for a small family dinner on Sat night. The place is very quiet and very tastefully decorated. We ordered sushi, noodles and tom yum soup. The food was delicious. Special shout out to the service. Definitely recommend for a low key gathering.“

Dietary restrictions: It is unfortunate that River City does not provide any accommodations for people with dietary challenges. We would eat there more often if they did.“

“I was highly impressed with this whole experience.it was Halloween night and my best friends mother passed seat just a couple hours before. I was planning to take her kids trick or treating so she could focus on her mom and the grief she was processing. When I asked the kids if they wanted to try bowling they were super stoked. From the moment we walked in the door the staff were so welcoming. Heather set us up on a lane and was very helpful answering all our questions. Once we got to the lane, Emily greeted us and was very helpful! Her suggestions on food were spot on! Food was really good and affordable as well. We had some sort of spicy rolls and pizza. The whole place was very clean and the decor and design was done so well. The long leather couches were comfortable and classy, along with the industrial chandeliers! Heather saw the fun we were having and added an extra 39 mins to our time. She was incredibly accommodating and kind! “The entire staff is friendly. We had the best waitress, Brookelynne H. This was the first date night for my husband and me in 9 months due to me having oral cancer surgery, treatments, side effects and recovery. We wanted The Melting Pot in Myrtle Beach to be the first place we went to when I was ready to go out to eat. They were very patient and kind. The food was top notch and the atmosphere was great. We will be back and definitely recommend it.“

Everybody works. No wait staff standing around in their phones. They are too busy providing excellent customer service. The food comes out hot( or cold) if appropriate cold, and cooked to perfection. Unless I'm sitting at the bar, a free fire zone and good beer prices. The locals have lived all around America and as in all bars are represented by to many 'guys' from Pittsburg. The good booze prices mellow them out however and I actually like some of em'. The food is solid and real all the way to the mashed potatoes but the fries are even better. You won't see any baskets hanging on the wall or things hanging from the ceiling. Go to MB for that. If you want good food, service and locals with 50 different accents and friendly, stop and see us. The station has a 1/2 wall to separate the bar from the dining room both sides are good. My VA and PA family like both rooms. * there is bad, ok and good rating I give. Bad is bad, ok is ok and good is great. I just love good food..... it don't get better.“

“We were hungry and hot, this is a place I’d never noticed or tried. I like to try the smaller places vs the big chain names. This was a great stop and I’m glad we went. The service was friendly and efficient, the food was decently priced for the quality and speed. Only thing I’d say is it’s not a spot to cool off, it’s better than the hot boardwalk heat though. Definitely be back! Thanks!

Edit to add: it came up a downpour, my pregnant daughter was with me and we were waiting in our crew. We had finished our meals but they never rushed us out. We ordered more food when the rest of our crew arrived and it was really good too!

“This is a great place for food, drinks, sports, and chatting with others. The staff is great (especially Dee outside on the weekends!) and the food is really good. It is a real restaurant that happens to have two great bars (indoor and outdoor) as opposed to a bar that also has food.

Among the dishes we have tried - all have been excellent - peel and eat shrimp, fish tacos, burgers and salads.

There is also a place to sit outside with your beverage in Adirondack chairs and enjoy the beautiful ocean view.

Despite being an ocean front property the prices are actually quite reasonable for what you get.

There is a parking lot across the street as well taking away any worries about finding parking if you are coming from any distance (we are typically able to walk - but we would drive if staying further away, because it's our new favorite.)

Having all of the games on but "real" food means I can accompany my husband when he's watching his favorite sports and not worry that I'm going to starve or be forced to eat super salty "bar food" that just doesn't thrill me.

Almost ordered the rib eye this last time and after seeing it on a plate nearby I'm sure it's what I'll enjoy the next time!!“
