“We enjoyed stopping by for a quick drink and a bowl of the owner's gumbo. If you like trying different foods, try the gumbo for an adventurous different tsste. We also watched a couple shoot pool. The staff and patrons were friendly to us (we were visiting from PA).“

“We enjoyed a wonderful meal 2 nights ago! Lisa was our server and she was phenomenal. We ordered the Tuna Tartare and fried Oysters as starters followed by the Pan Seared Scallops and Shrimp and the Grouper Special. All perfectly prepared! When we return to Beaufort we certainly will return! Service, great timing in bring out absolutely delicious food. We highly recommend!“

“9/17/25 was our 2nd trip to Benny's and it did not disappoint either time. Our first trip was last fall when you had just opened & the rooftop was not completed yet. Me, my sister & my niece were delighted with our choices...grouper, seafood cannelloni , Brazilian fish stew...WOW!! But what we were most impressed with was our waiter, Ladrae' Foster, a young 20 year old man. He was lots of fun and very knowledgeable about the menu. We asked LOTS of questions about entrees and he always had the most detailed answer. Excellent service, too! We'll definitely be back!“

“Poseidons rooftop bar is a great place to eat dinner and get drinks! We had Adrienne as a server and she was super fun and had a great personality. This is an awesome place on the water. “Weird that we have lived here 7 years and never hit this spot until now. Great burgers, great service (and already incredibly busy on new years eve when we walked in at 5:30). Waitresses were hustling and still taking the time to check on us and make sure our drinks were filled. It's a good crowd here too--maybe mostly locals, but not everyone was a 'after work' clientele. We had fun talking down the bar and to people behind us. Tables are close together (not tight though) so it kind of makes for conversation -- or at least a friendly hello. Enjoyed ourselves.“

“Reserved the upstairs for a dinner for my son's wedding, very cute area perfect for an evet. Staff was absolutely wonderful, they made sure we had everything we needed. The food and drinks were amazing. Would definitely recommend this place“
“I came down this past weekend with 3 friends and we played FlingGolf for 2 days. The course was amazing, the staff was very friendly, food was incredible, and we will be back to play again. I recommend this to any golfer or FlingGolf player. They have Fling Sticks for rent and FlingGolf hats! Thank you for an excellent experience.“

“Food was pretty good. Higher end prices, good portions, just not as good as similarly priced restaurants. The drinks were phenomenal, ordered the margarita flight which came with 4 different flavors, strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, and peach. But what made this trip memorable was the absolutely abhorrent service. We saw our server once to get our drink order and then again to take our food order. We didn't see our server again until the end of the meal after waiting 20 minutes for a box and the check. Our server didn't even bring the food to our table, a different employee brought our food and they were very nice. I didn't even get a refill on my drink once. If you wanted good service I would not recommend coming to this establishment, maybe order take out because the food was decent.“

“The food was good, but we had a really weird experience at the beginning. My mother and I walked in and requested a table for two. The hostess says “do you have a reservation, we don’t take walk ins.” We didn’t have a reservation so we left. But I was so hungry after just getting off a plane that I didn’t want to search for a new place. I looked up Jane online and made a res for 1:00 (it was 12:49… and there were tons of available time slots). So we walked back in and told the same hostess we had a reservation. Then while we sat and waited 10 min for a table we listened to her tell other walk ins it was a 10 min wait. The whole thing was so strange. I think my salad was good, but definitely annoyed by the initial service (waitress super sweet though).“

“We have visited this restaurant a few times and it's always been great. With my food sensitivities they have very accommodating. I enjoyed the filet with shrimp and french fries all with no type of dairy or eggs. My wife enjoyed the grits with grilled chicken. Kevin in the kitchen with William at the bar and Kenji as our server did a great job.“

The Brig and Brew is the best venue on MCRDPISC! The bar staff was amazing and the Museum Docents that stopped in were an added bonus.
