“Fish Camp on 11th Street is putting out some great seafood! We found it through a TikTok review of the Beaufort area, and it did not disappoint. This place is huge with plenty of seating, so we did not have a problem finding a comfortable table on the screened-in porch. First off, we tried a couple cocktails - the Crab Punch and the Pineapple Mojito (both were excellent - the Mojito was very good blend of ingredients). Our server, Vanda, was super helpful in making a recommendation of a starter that was not on the menu - it was a shrimp/clam fritter with an amazing butter/tequila/lime dipping sauce - out of this world! For our main courses, I got the Shrimp & Polenta (cajun smoked ham, peppers, cheddar cheese, fried green tomato) - I highly recommend this dish. The cajun sauce was killer mixed with the polenta (grits). My wife got the Daufuskie Island Crab Cake meal (blue crab cake, sharp cheddar cheese polenta, mustard cream sauce, broccolini) - this entree was equally tasty with layers of flavors. Did I mention that our server Vanda was amazing, smiley, quick, and excellent at providing stellar recommendations? That young lady deserves a raise! Try this place, y'all!“

“We had a family occasion to visit Madison's a few weeks ago with a party of six. We had reservations and the meal had been planned for a while. When the food arrived, we (most of us) were astonished at the small size of a combination platter. I personally had scallops and flounder. I had two TINY strips of flounder, not even the size of a frozen fish stick. What a disappointment. The scallops were also 'marble' size. The price of the meal, with an adult beverage, was over 70.00. The cost nowhere represented what the meal should have been. One of our couples asked if the combination platter was enough to split. The server's answer was "they could eat one of them by themselves." This should have been our warning. Very disappointed in the meal. I have had appetizers larger the two tiny slices of flounder. We return to Beaufort on occasions, as family lives there, but we will NOT return to Madison's.“

“I was lucky enough to find OG Fresh over a year ago after moving to the Lowcountry. To say it's had to find good whole food plant-based options is an understatement. But OG Fresh has become my favorite spot for fresh and delicious foods. If you are in the Beaufort area it is a must. You will not be disappointed. “The She-crab soup was terrific. The shrimp and grits were good, but not what I was expecting. The grits were prepared in little cakes the size of crab cakes, and the sausage was sliced kind of like pepperoni. It was good, just different. And a large enough portion that I couldn't finish it. My friend had crab cakes and was very happy with them.“

The coastal setting, quaint rooms and spacious porches make you want to grab a coffee or glass of wine and spend hours relaxing on the porch. I recently tried their chicken salad sandwich and let me tell you - it was incredible. The perfect balance of creamy and crunchy, with just the right amount of seasoning. And don't even get me started on their clam chowder. It was out of this world. I couldn't believe how good it was. But the food isn't the only thing that makes Blackstone's Cafe stand out. The service is top-notch as well. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They truly went above and beyond to make sure my dining experience was enjoyable. This has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Beaufort. “I’ve been having dinner here ever since I can remember. My youngest memory was probably around the age of 4. When I was growing up, there was nothing like a good fried chicken leg and a try-tater with ketchup from Maryland fried. I moved away and have lived several different places and never found anything even close to being as good as this place. Yesterday, right before the rain, my bestie and I decided to get a barrel of chicken and all the fixins for our families after having a nice day at the beach. “Lunch special was a good deal with entree, soup and egg roll. The hot and sour soup was unlike any soup like that I have ever had. Not bad, just different. Hot and sweet more than hot and sour - I'd eat it again. The egg roll was great. Lightly crunchy with good filling. Recommend you eat it before it cools down and becomes greasy. The rice was done well and perfect for chop sticks.“

The tomato sauce really is the star of the show here, we started with their meatballs and sauce 👌🏻. If I could order that and bread I'd be one happy Italian girl. My best friend had the chicken parmesan on point. I had the Blanco pizza, but the sauce was so so good, I asked for a side of sauce to dip the pizza in 👌🏻👌🏻 were thinking about finishing with the tiramisu and the lemon cake. Cleopatra was our server and she did amazingly, knowledgeable and told us about the nightly specials!!! Y'all ask for her next time!! We sure will!!! 👌🏻👌🏻

“One of the BEST RESTAURANTS I’ve ever been to!! Make a reservation but plan to eat a lot of yummy food! It’s the best flavored meat I’ve ever had!!! Each time we have friends visit we come here!!! It’s amazing and you will not be disappointed!! Try the burnt Mac & cheese - jalepeno- bacon… and all of the meats, pulled pork, brisket! INCREDIBLE!!! Super reasonable as well! Plenty of room and full bar, but just in case always make a reservation!!!“

“I was born in Philly & lived in South Jersey before moving to Midwest & now SC. It’s so hard to find an authentic Philly Cheesesteak. Well I’m in heaven now. I found the perfect Philly cheesesteak at @Piace Pizza. It was delicious all the way down to the hoagie roll. I’ll definitely be back! My husband said his pizza was delicious as well especially the crust. Our waitress, Cindy was awesome and atmosphere was great too. I’m sad it took me so long to try this place. “Delicious food, extremely clean, helpful staff! On a recent trip to Beaufort SC, after a long day of travel and site seeing we were late getting supper before heading to our hotel. Culvers was just a block from our hotel so this was a very convenient spot to grab supper and we were pleasantly surprised to find a very clean restaurant with helpful staff who seemed to care and know what they were doing. The food was hot fresh and delicious! We went back the next day for a late evening ice cream on our way back to the hotel to end up our day. Already looking forward to going back here again someday!“

Food looked good. Not bad but not stunning. The locals at the bar were very friendly. Whish our server would have been a tad more friendly. I got what I thought was an evil eye when I entered the establishment with my service K9. Food was OK but a tad expensive in my opinion, who knows... I would return to hang with friends.“
