“This local restaurant has the absolute best Shrimp and Grits on their Sunday menu. Their fried shrimp is the best I've ever had and their Beedos burger is amazing. With a great variety of sides and homemade desserts, you won't be disappointed with anything you order here. It's on the way to Hunting Island State Park. Doesn't look like much but it's the best restaurant in in my Beaufort by my far. Any of day is a good to day to eat at Beedos and their Sunday menu is extra special.”

“Oh my God, was the food delicious! Johnathan was working the kitchen in the food truck and Dutch was working the crowd of customers. Insanely wonderful food but it takes time to prepare , not hours or anything but if you are looking for the 3 minutes at the fast food window tempo, you won't find it here. our food to about 15 minutes and was absolutely worth it. Give this place a try on your way to or from the beach. You will thank me, I promise.”

“William Green; the owner of this small home-style "Gullah Cooking cuisine" restaurant, let us (party of 8) in after closing early due to poor weather. The hospitality he greeted us with was as if he had never closed the restaurant. This kind, generous man welcomed us into his local-art-stocked room. Mr. Green was the only worker in the place at this time. He took our order with impeccable accuracy, went back to the kitchen, and prepared the comfort food himself. Surprisingly, he arrived with the food 20 minutes after the order was placed. The stories he told us of his fishing and hunting excursions are spiritual connections I will carry for a lifetime. This man is truly God-sent, and if you're ever in South Carolina, I recommend this place "Gullah Grub", to anyone in the area. He will treat you with upmost respect and courtesy and he will give you his best! God Bless this man and his family!!”

While I understand why the reviews are mixed (it is on the pricier side and the atmosphere is pretty basic), it’s a small beach town spot and I’m sure the staff is doing their best. That said, the cocktails were excellent, the food was fresh, and we left feeling full and satisfied.”

“Enjoyed lunch today at Local’s today for our 4th time since relocating to Beaufort last year. The sushi is delicious as is the JFC chicken. Great atmosphere with friendly staff and service. A Lady’s Island great restaurant to visit.”

We ordered the Tuna Tartare and fried Oysters as starters followed by the Pan Seared Scallops and Shrimp and the Grouper Special. All perfectly prepared! When we return to Beaufort we certainly will return! Service, great timing in bring out absolutely delicious food. We highly recommend!”

“We were looking for a place with an unpretentious menu which let the ingredients shine through. Chef Frank’s came in at an A+. Our salad, swordfish and crème brûlée were delicious. Customer service was warm, friendly, and professional. Friday and Saturday nights are always full, and the space is small so be aware of the noise level. Will definitely be back! Yes Chef!”

“Fish Camp on 11th Street is putting out some great seafood! We found it through a TikTok review of the Beaufort area, and it did not disappoint. This place is huge with plenty of seating, so we did not have a problem finding a comfortable table on the screened-in porch. First off, we tried a couple cocktails - the Crab Punch and the Pineapple Mojito (both were excellent - the Mojito was very good blend of ingredients). Our server, Vanda, was super helpful in making a recommendation of a starter that was not on the menu - it was a shrimp/clam fritter with an amazing butter/tequila/lime dipping sauce - out of this world! For our main courses, I got the Shrimp & Polenta (cajun smoked ham, peppers, cheddar cheese, fried green tomato) - I highly recommend this dish. The cajun sauce was killer mixed with the polenta (grits). My wife got the Daufuskie Island Crab Cake meal (blue crab cake, sharp cheddar cheese polenta, mustard cream sauce, broccolini) - this entree was equally tasty with layers of flavors. Did I mention that our server Vanda was amazing, smiley, quick, and excellent at providing stellar recommendations? That young lady deserves a raise! Try this place, y'all!”

We bought 3 bags of coffee! Their food was very good as well. The quiche and kids waffle were amazing! Service was very good and everyone was friendly.”
