“We stopped in for lunch today, we got Brisket Tacos & Blackened Fish Tacos. They were absolutely delicious! The space has ample space and a great ambiance. Sweet tea was good and server was very friendly! Would definitely eat here again!”
“Shared the sampler for three with two others. Everything was tasty and well cooked. With an appetizer and an extra side, it was the perfect amount of food.Parking: Parking goes all the way around the building. Parking in the rear is the closest to the entrance.”
“IF YOURE LOOKING FOR A RESTERAUNT ON EDISTO THIS! IS! THE ONE!!!!this place is so good the brisket is delicious the sauces are all so yummy and the seasoning on the wings was perfect. THE ICE IS THE CRUNCHIEST ????the service was absolutely perfect our server was the sweetest kindest soul on this planet. not to mention the decor was so pretty and whoever had aux KNEWWW what was upand do NOT skimp on the dessert its the bomb dot com.the servings are also huge??? so much bang for your buck.this place is lit u must check it out ??”
“Nice space on the second floor of a building with a large bar and tables spaced out enough for a fair amount of privacy. Apparently sharing ownership with the Waterfront Restaurant, which is also on the island. Their raw oysters were pretty good and tasted fresh, but I wasn't impressed with anything else. I had a great meal at Waterfront and would go back there instead.Parking: Weird parking lot with concrete barriers in strange places. We went in the offseason so there was plenty of space. During the summertime, I bet the lot fills up especially if the bar on the first floor is open.”
“Good quality thin pizza, service by Nicole was excellent, will be back. Second photo is from one year later. This pizza was not great . Too much cheese, cheese was thicker than the crust and the crust was somewhat cardboard in texture. Will try one next year and check for rebound.”
“Diner style restaurant in a compound beside a pottery and an apparel/gift shop with shared parking. Weird layout with stairs mostly don't lead to the entrance. Had a forgettable breakfast with quick service.”
“I love this place! They have awesome food, the best cheerwine BBQ sauce but if you go during peek hours there will be a long wait and noisy. I've eaten there 3 times in 6 weeks. ?”
“Yes it’s only open a few times a week, I make it happen. Do not be lured into other items. Order the SHRIMP BURGER and get a “super” or large. If you don’t, you will wish you did !”
“My hosts are Edisto "locals" and were tight with the previous chef PB who passed. His protégé took over and kept a few of his mentor's specialties on the menu. Under the "for the table" section, PB's Butterbeans. A little trough of Butterbeans came out and everyone scooped 4 or 5 forkfulls onto their bread plates. Can't tell you why, but those were the best damn beans I've ever had. The larger dish of fried Brussel Sprouts, same. Just for Starters. Then everyone got their orders at the perfect time, as we were picking pecan bits off the spoutes plate, and the orders of NOLA style BBQ Shrimp, my shrimp and grits, and the fried oysters someone got, the fried flounder the other two guys had and a mahi and clams dish were enjoyed through great conversation and wine and spirits. One of the best meals I've eaten since a dinner in pre-Katrina New Orleans 20 years ago. They stock a great many locally brewed beers, ales, and ciders. They have a full bar and high chairs. Not at the bar, but for kids you may bring along. I didn't see a kids menu, and the $25 pizzas sounded delicious, but my kid wouldn't have thought so. The place is inside some gated community or resort but don't let that keep you from them butterbeans! Just tell whoever is at the guard shack, "We're here for the beans."”
“Local hangout that stands up and says Hello!!Super good food (sushi nachos and Crabcakes) and great atmosphere. Service was great, and they were busy. Ask for Savannah as your server..she rocks!I highly recommend this place if you're ever in the area. Well worth the stop!”
“Came a second time just a few days later. Everything was good. New things we tried was the Pimento pork chop, pecan pork chop, tomato pie and Parmesan Groper. The new items were accompanied by some we already knew we liked. Still recommend and Curtis is still an amazing server. Tonight he was very busy but kept everyone happy. The bar was a little louder from extra people but otherwise very nice.”
“Delicious onion rings, good beer, OK flounder, and friendly staff. I'd eat here again.Parking: Their parking lot is easily three times larger than they would ever need for patrons with tables, so I guess it's for the wait line during rush in peak season.”
“The pizza had a pleasant flavor and the sauce/cheese/toppings were balanced and of decent quality. The crust could use some work, like oiling the bottom before they cook it or something, to improve the mouthfeel and add some crunch. The shop is not much to look at, and the tables inside are too small for plates and a pizza, so a ding on atmosphere. The lady who took my order was super nice.Parking: They're much closer to the North Eastern end of the parking lot.”
“Service was phenomenal. Food was good quality, but a bit pricey for some of the items. The grits were fantastic. The views were incredible! Plan to arrive early if you want to eat without a super long wait!”
“Had a great dinner experience with our family including our 7 year old son! Felicia was very attentive and took great care of us! Fried scallops, fresh salad, grits, filet mignon, ribeye and fried flounder were delicious! Finished dinner off with a homemade blueberry cobbler and icecream! We will be back! Been trying to come here for years while on vacation and it was definitely worth the wait! Thank you Felicia! ?”
“Delicious! Everything was so good, probably going to make a second trip this week!?We got 2 cookie dough stuffed shakes, 1 cookies and cream stuffed shake, and 1 waffle cone with Salty Caramel Truffle & vanilla scoops. My kids were not able to finish their shakes because they are huge! The shakes are expensive but you do get to keep the glass mason jar cup. The cookies and cream stuffed shake was better than the cookie dough, however cookie dough had a ton of mini chocolate chips at the bottom. All the shakes came with an ice cream sandwich on top!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free if you get ice cream without cookies.Parking: Off to the side of the building, can park right next to itKid-friendliness: Perfect place for kids!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair access ramp available to go up into the building right next to the entrance”
“Love this place we get ice cream every night there, and plenty of choices think over 20 flavors, tons of candy, and lots of odds and ends beach related in back of store . Anything you may need to enjoy the beach. See u next summer. Thank you... .”
“Coffee shop and cafe. Decent lattes and espresso drinks and good selection of syrups. Non-dairy options (soy, oat, almond). The espresso/coffee used was good quality. Not much of an atmosphere, but it was winter. It's In a resort, so hard to get to. Not many options for espresso drinks on the island, so "it will do". Expensive.Wheelchair accessibility: Door was small.”
“Pizza is pretty good! Don't listen to the bad reviews it's better than average bar food. I had a good experience and the food was solid. Prices are a tad high but so is life around the beach.”
“Dined at Coots, the oceanfront restaurant & bar, and I must say, they really know how to make waves in the culinary scene! The view was so breathtaking; I almost forgot to breathe between bites. The seafood was so fresh; it could have auditioned for a talent show. The chef must have a PhD in "fish-ics" because my taste buds experienced some serious enlightenment. The bar staff deserves a round of applause for their ocean-themed cocktails – they're like the Shakespeare of mixology, creating liquid poetry in a glass. I asked for a cocktail with a twist, and they delivered – literally, there was a tiny umbrella involved. It's safe to say I was all at sea with delight. As for the service, it was so attentive that if I dropped a fork, someone would catch it before it hit the ocean floor. The staff at Coots clearly know their way around both the kitchen and the comedy stage. It's not just a restaurant; it's a seafood stand-up special. So, if you're looking for a place to shell-ebrate, dive into Coots – where the food is fin-tastic, and the puns are off the scale!”
“Once again, using great value deals on the app, I pulled in the parking lot and found some good food. I had to run some errands early morning so I swung by and got a deal on a biscuit and got another deal for lunch on my way home. Both stops were fast and correct and put together great this time! But dislike the "stengenous" practice all the fast food places have on giving me the items that are supposed to be on the Dang sandwich anyway.(Don't get me started on the core left on the green tomato that was sliced verticaly. Or using the bitter thick white lettuce core end. That's common sense!) Just seems like more and more than times before, nobody cares about the presentation of quality craftsmanship when selling people food. SAD.”
“Things I would get again: the meat pizza and garlic knots.Things I would not get again: seabrook pizza & hot boneless wingsThings I wish I knew: the Greek pizza is giant and can feed about 6 if using it as a side. Very good. Lots of toppings.Their online ordering said they weren't available for online orders, btw, but they were if I called. This was on a Sunday evening.Took about an hour to get our order. Pickup was easy, but a few miscellaneous charges that added up, making our pizza dinner for 7 $171. 3.5% for using a card (required for the phone order), 10% service fee, and 10% tax. While more yummy than not, it was very pricey at $24 per person for take out pizza.Parking: It's usually almost full but you can usually find a spot. Street parking is an option.”
“While visiting we had breakfast here and it was amazing! So much so, that we went back for lunch on another day. The owner and employees were amazing and working hard the whole time. Very much family feel of the place. The food was great, all of it!”
