“This local restaurant has the absolute best Shrimp and Grits on their Sunday menu. Their fried shrimp is the best I've ever had and their Beedos burger is amazing. With a great variety of sides and homemade desserts, you won't be disappointed with anything you order here. It's on the way to Hunting Island State Park. Doesn't look like much but it's the best restaurant in in my Beaufort by my far. Any of day is a good to day to eat at Beedos and their Sunday menu is extra special.“

“William Green; the owner of this small home-style "Gullah Cooking cuisine" restaurant, let us (party of 8) in after closing early due to poor weather. The hospitality he greeted us with was as if he had never closed the restaurant. This kind, generous man welcomed us into his local-art-stocked room. Mr. Green was the only worker in the place at this time. He took our order with impeccable accuracy, went back to the kitchen, and prepared the comfort food himself. Surprisingly, he arrived with the food 20 minutes after the order was placed. The stories he told us of his fishing and hunting excursions are spiritual connections I will carry for a lifetime. This man is truly God-sent, and if you're ever in South Carolina, I recommend this place "Gullah Grub", to anyone in the area. He will treat you with upmost respect and courtesy and he will give you his best! God Bless this man and his family!!“

“Take the time to reflect on your Marine's experience by actually talking to the Drill Instructors who trained your Marine. Be sure to add this to your itinerary while visiting the island. Food on the buffet was top notch. Lots of brass were there too. Actually spoke to a Letuennant General. That was amazing. Do not overlook this activity.“

“One of the prettiest cafes I’ve ever been to!!! I can’t recommend them enough. Their fried green tomatoes came on a beautiful bed of romaine lettuce and were topped with divine pimento cheese. “We enjoyed a wonderful meal 2 nights ago! Lisa was our server and she was phenomenal. We ordered the Tuna Tartare and fried Oysters as starters followed by the Pan Seared Scallops and Shrimp and the Grouper Special. All perfectly prepared! When we return to Beaufort we certainly will return! Service, great timing in bring out absolutely delicious food. We highly recommend!“

“Had the wings and loaded fries. Wings were as good as any I've had and there were plenty. The loaded fries were piled high and again plenty. Took a good sized to go box home. Service was good and the price was par for the area. I'll be back.“

“I was in Beaufort, SC for a family event and we about 30 of us decided to eat at Red Rooster Cafe. First time there. The food was delicious. I had the French Toast Breakfast with turkey sausage.“

“Very positive experience. We ate on the outside porch on Friday evening. It was a beautiful nighttime view of the water & park, yet we stayed warm because of the overhead heat lamps. I had the fried pork wontons & my husband had the shrimp burger. Both were excellent. Our server suggested dessert - the fried cheesecake strawberry doughnut. It was so DELICIOUS!!!!!!!“

The food it pretty good, the staff are very nice, and its very hospitable. My only complaints is that some of the prices are a bit much for the quality of the food.
