“Food was good. We sat inside and while eating we heard the guy behind the counter welcoming everyone. Casually chatting with them, making them feel they appreciated! Great customer service. Very rare these days!! WAY TO GO!!!!!“

“We had a family occasion to visit Madison's a few weeks ago with a party of six. We had reservations and the meal had been planned for a while. When the food arrived, we (most of us) were astonished at the small size of a combination platter. I personally had scallops and flounder. I had two TINY strips of flounder, not even the size of a frozen fish stick. What a disappointment. The scallops were also 'marble' size. The price of the meal, with an adult beverage, was over 70.00. The cost nowhere represented what the meal should have been. One of our couples asked if the combination platter was enough to split. The server's answer was "they could eat one of them by themselves." This should have been our warning. Very disappointed in the meal. I have had appetizers larger the two tiny slices of flounder. We return to Beaufort on occasions, as family lives there, but we will NOT return to Madison's.“

“Went here during the music festival. server was Rhee( not sure on the spelling). but she was fantastic, hgelping us and other patrons simultaneously. Repeatedly stopping by to check on us. Food was a little slow getting to us, but I overheard the bar employee tell another customer there was only 1 person in the kitchen. When the food did come out it was piping hot. I had the wings and cheese sticks and wife had the pot sticker and nachos, both were tasty. However, the highlight was Rhee's impeccable service. When I say she was multi-tasking, she was definitely on point. They seem to be short on help and have indoor and outdoor service facing the water. I didn't have a drink, so I can't help yall drinkers on that one. They were getting pack by the time we left and we eat early, so it had to be around 1 or 2 pm when we were there and the Music fest we'll definitely back for 2027 good Lord willing.“
