“I've now been to this restaurant twice, once with a work meeting where they had us off to the right hand side of the entrance. Not particularly private, but still okay for the event.

It's not a particularly large restaurant in more temperate weather. I believe there is an option to sit outside at the rear of the restaurant.

Last time my wife and I went for a dinner on Halloween night. As usual it was packed and we had seats basically at a bar with a view out the front of the store which turned out to be quite nice.

Our server was quite fantastic to be honest. The place was packed and the food took quite some time to be served, but we enjoyed our time together. It wasn't that big of a deal.

When it arrived the halibut which was on special was quite fantastic as were the sides. My Wife ordered the steak medium. It was actually quite rare to be honest. We opted to not have it cooked more as we know how that usually turns out. For $43, that was quite disappointing.

We don't drink alcohol often, but did try a couple of specialty drinks which we enjoyed.

In general, I would consider this a special night out, not somewhere that you would go every weekend as the bill could get quite high, especially if you like to have several beverages with your meal.”

“Stopped by here on the way home from a long, rough road trip as a joke because of the name. We were not dressed fancy and had our kids in tow and they were still incredibly kind and the food was hot, delicious, fresh, and the best part of the last week vacation we’ve had. Portions were large and made the prices feel worth it. We will have to stop by here again, even if it is 2 1/2 hours from home. Thank you all!!!!”

“We first visited The Terrace on Oct-17-2014. Got there around 6:00pm, while it was still daylight outside. Probably the worst thing I can say about the place was that it took 6 to 8 minutes before we were initially greeted outside; after that, literally everything was almost perfect. The wait staff was attentive and friendly, and the food (flatiron steak, salads, lobster spaghetti) was *outstanding* - I'm currently eating a small piece of leftover steak as I type this; steak is almost never very good when re-heated, but it's still juicy and flavorful. The atmosphere was top-notch, with a pleasant breeze, fireside seats, and an outstanding view. We will definitely be back, on special occasions. :-)”

“We have been coming to Chuck E Cheese for years and always had a good time. However, this last time we came it was exceptional! They use an invisible ink to stamp the adult's hand and their children. That way when it comes time to leave they verify each child is leaving with the correct adult! They have also revamped many of their games and attractions. With children being so vulnerable, I think it says a lot that Chuck E. Cheese not only cares but has gone above and beyond to keep our precious children safe!”

“The best steak tacos and cheese quesadillas I've ever put in my mouth! The pic doesn't do it justice, trust me. The steak was finely shredded and seasoned perfectly. The cheese quesadilla was loaded with creamy cheese and the tortilla was cooked perfectly, it was buttery and just the right amount of crispy. I do wish it was closer to home, but it is well worth the drive! Very friendly staff too! We will be back soon!”

Mike loves their fried chicken and I love their veggies, especially their fried okra and collard greens (I'm a vegetarian and they don't cook their veggies in meat or meat products!). From our first visit a few months ago and every visit since, everyone there, especially Bobby and John, make you feel like family. Not being a burger person, I opted for the chicken tenders this time. Not the best, but okay. My husband and his brother were with me and they are both burger eaters, so they were both quite satisfied. The sweet potato fries were excellent, as were the regular potato wedge fries. I highly recommend the fry sauce. There is an extensive bakery menu and excellent shakes. Restrooms were exceptionally clean.”

My family is vegan and we had plenty of options (gasp!) and my parents aren’t vegan and they had plenty of options also! Their teas are amazing, you can ask for no sugar added, which is a huge plus. “This was our first time trying this Burrito Hub location. The exterior is really inviting with a great outside dining option but we chose to eat inside. We were immediately greeted by an employee, seated, and had drinks within minutes. Our food was delicious! They have a great variety of burritos, salads, salsas (all made in house) and tacos. We opted for the mixed tacos (one of each: chicken, steak and birria). We also got a side of queso and guac. The ingredients were fresh, the meat was seasoned perfectly and tender, and the guac is the best I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!!”

A waiter comes over and says the manager asked me to come over and tell you to move to a smaller table. Excuse me??? When I came in we were told to sit wherever. The whole experience took me back to the old-school Chinese restaurant we always visited on beach trips when i was a kid. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. We had moo goo gai pan, Hunan chicken, lo mein, and it was all very good. The bourbon chicken was excellent, what I'll probably order when I return--and I will return!

“I have eaten inside but usually we are in a hurry and Charlie's is so great from taking our orders, payments and getting our food out to us in a timely matter and if course has our order correct every single time I don't normally write reviews but I had to for Charlie's since there is really no other place like them ANYWHERE in Spartanburg. They have places to eat from that both serve chicken sandwiches just like they do but I'm telling you their chicken finger wrap is to die for. Something about how those fingers don't have chewy rubbery pieces or grissel/tendin pieces. Each bite is literally heaven. The way the chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo all roll together in that flour tortilla the best messy experience I have ever had. I don't ever eat chicken since I started raising them myself but I literally cannot pass up their chicken finger wrap whenever we order from Charlie's. Plus they have one person (a sweet girl) running the front of the house while there is only one or two guys cooking in the back and their vibe is always flowing so we'll that it works every single time. They always have a long line in the drive thru yet they don't make you wait long, not ride or short with you they are always kind and patient. The other chicken restaurants on either side of them could take a lesson out of their playbook.”

I swear she can read minds because we never had to ask for anything, she just knew how to make this the best dinner possible. Fresh rolls, plenty of sauces, never an empty cup, picture perfect plate presentations; you name it! On top of that, her personality is one of a kind. She is so bright and by the end of the meal I felt like we could be best friends. Texas Roadhouse always has excellent food but this was the best experience dining out anywhere because of Meleny's service. We will be making the drive from Simpsonville to Spartanburg far more often now because of her. She handles the service industry so well; always keeping a smile on her face even when the restaurant stays so busy. My husband ordered the filet medallions with green beans and chilli and I ordered the smothered chicken with broccoli and a salad. I highly recommend both dishes.”

Waitress I had was Jennifer…very friendly and always checked in to see if everyone in her section needed anything..don’t have to worry about running out of beverage, as she was on top of it. Food - everything was hot and fresh..which is a very welcoming appeal to buffets, as sometimes when they first open..warmers aren’t always hot. The popcorn shrimp was a little crispier than what I like..but that’s just me and I won’t discredit them for that. Desserts…holy whoa..they “fudge brownie”…heaven on a plate. It’s the standard run of the mill Golden Corral buffet options but something about this one here in Spartanburg seemed different. It’s like they all have a friendly tone to them and it’s just very welcoming overall. I will be back and definitely give this a 5*.”

You order from the window, can pay cash or card, pick your toppings from the topping bar and then find a seat in the cafeteria like setting. Nothing fancy but the food is the main attraction. The Mercado (grocery store) has regular hours but the restaurant portion is only open on weekends. I always get the Al Pastor Tortas but everything else is delicious too. Try it and I promise you won’t regret it.”
