“I have always enjoyed coming to Mon Amie and have highly recommended it to dozens of people. My early birthday breakfast with my cousin was nothing short of amazing until we were very rudely interrupted by the hostess. She proceeded to ask us about our meal as if she really cared, then very abruptly told us to basically leave because there was a party outside with a baby that needed to be seated because of the very cold weather. I love babies and while I hate to think of it being exposed to cold weather, that's not our problem. My cousin drove an hour to eat with me and we were treated as if their discomfort was our emergency and we needed to act accordingly. This was my cousin's very first experience in this restaurant and probably her last! Our dining experience matters just as much as the next person's, please do better! I want to stress the fact that we were not asked nicely, we were told. Demanded if you will! And yes we are black and they weren't! When I spotted the family with the baby I could see that they were sitting directly beside the heat lamp on the patio and they seem to be enjoying conversation amongst each other, so it was definitely the hostess that did everything besides basically push us out the door! Needless to say we moved on before we were ready to because we will not be where we aren't wanted!”

“I had honestly never heard of EUG until a little over a year ago. I was first introduced to Converse Corners (Main st Spartanburg) store. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. My family and I try and get together once a month, with young kids (2 & 8 yo), the staff and even the other customers are very considerate of the carrying on of those young'uns. Service is always great as well as the food. I am what you would call a picky eater and usually find 1 or 2 restaurants and keep to same menu item. The BYO omelet EUG is always my go to. (We all have our own favorite servers, but I can't give out the title for best one because they have all been great each time I have been there.) I have had the privilege of meeting and interacting with quite a few EUG employees & Franchise Partners throughout the SE region and they all share the same passion for creating a family friendly atmosphere!! The new color scheme updates that are taking place in the dining area make it even more inviting. There are over 100 EUG out there and so many more to come. How Egg-citing!! Why did no one tell me there was one in Ocala, FL? I feel robbed of the time I could have been introduced to EUG sooner. LOL”

“This was our first time trying this Burrito Hub location. The exterior is really inviting with a great outside dining option but we chose to eat inside. We were immediately greeted by an employee, seated, and had drinks within minutes. Our food was delicious! They have a great variety of burritos, salads, salsas (all made in house) and tacos. We opted for the mixed tacos (one of each: chicken, steak and birria). We also got a side of queso and guac. The ingredients were fresh, the meat was seasoned perfectly and tender, and the guac is the best I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!!”

“I fully believe this to be the best Waffle House I have ever been to. The staff were very welcoming and continued to clean as they went. The staff didn’t leave each server to their own table but instead helped each other and checked in with other tables if they thought they may need something. However, what I enjoyed the most was the atmosphere. Regulars that have been coming here for 10 years were joking with staff and vice versa. It felt welcoming and at home. If I lived closer, this would be a regular weekend treat.”

“We came in while the staff was cleaning and restocking, and they greeted us so warmly that it was like each employee was personally happy to see us. When our food came out everything was amazing. Hashbrowns? Crispy. Eggs? Perfect. Throughout the entire interaction the staff checked in on us. We had several short conversations and it felt like we were old friends catching up in a grocery store. We of course left a large tip, but this was genuinely one of the best Waffle House experiences I’ve ever had, which is really saying something. I’m a regular at three locations, and whenever I’m in the area I’ll be coming back to this one as well.”

“I am a bit upset with this place. I love going here because I love trying new ciders. My boyfriend and I went today with our 2 dogs. We went inside with both dogs. Ordered 2 drinks and 3 things off the food menu. Once we ordered we went to sit and I went to the restroom. I came out and couldn't find my boyfriend. They made him go out with the dogs. Our dogs are well trained and behaved. My problem is that this is considered "dog friendly" but they kicked us out with the dogs AFTER we ordered our drinks and food. If dogs aren't allowed in the building because of a "open kitchen" , then it should had been said to us when we walked in with the dogs. The girl could had said "Hey , dogs aren't allowed inside , I can come out and take your order". It's 40 degrees out and raining. We didnt want to sit outside in the cold with our dogs and they have no heater outside. We was looking for a place to eat with our dogs. We spent a good bit of money on food , that may had been pretty good if we ate it there but had to get it to go so we wouldn't freeze. Unfortunately I'll miss the cider options , but we won't be back. adding- I use to stop by after volunteering for the shelter and have seen workers come out AFTER people went in to order and say they could bring their dog inside. Point is , if the dogs aren't allowed in then it needs to be said when walking in and the dogs shouldn't be allowed in just so we can order our food and then be thrown outside.”

Mike loves their fried chicken and I love their veggies, especially their fried okra and collard greens (I'm a vegetarian and they don't cook their veggies in meat or meat products!). From our first visit a few months ago and every visit since, everyone there, especially Bobby and John, make you feel like family. Mike has cancer so it's a good feeling to see him eat so well and enjoy himself so much. And don't forget the banana pudding...delicious!!”

My family is vegan and we had plenty of options (gasp!) and my parents aren’t vegan and they had plenty of options also! Their teas are amazing, you can ask for no sugar added, which is a huge plus. The food was awful, awful!!! the goat meat was chewy; I never was able to actually chew not one piece of goat meat!!! I never swallowed not one dang piece!! HORRENDOUS, THE ONLY GOOD THING ON MY PLATE WAS RICE AND ANOTHER THNG, WHERE WAS THE FRIED BANANAAS?? NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!! YUK, YUK!! I complained and all I got was a sorry!! Wasn't going to get anything else, i threw the remainder of the food in the trash!!!”

Chicken Alfredo is MORE THAN ENOUGH for two, even 3 people. Its enormous! and packed with chicken too. And the garlic bread is a more fine, better taste version of the kind i make at home. Only things I would criticize is, I wish it had a bit more sauce (now, im a person who likes more than a normal sauce amount). It perfect tho 90% and rly wasn't missing any i just like alot. Now the salad tho.. (actually the ranch) wasn't as good as ive had. No croutons, watery lettuce, only one or two olives, And the ranch was watery too. 5/10 on that. I'll assume i just got a bad batch of the ranch tonight and had some here at home. Its a salad tho and was good for what it was after adding my own of both thankfully. Tiramusu is great tho. The customer service on the phone and especially in person was great. Actually better than anywhere ive picked up dinner in a long time and he made sure to separate the cold and hot items in separate bags. I will be back absolutely. You go here and you wont be disappointed i promise. 8.5/10 easily!!!”

I swear she can read minds because we never had to ask for anything, she just knew how to make this the best dinner possible. She is so bright and by the end of the meal I felt like we could be best friends. Texas Roadhouse always has excellent food but this was the best experience dining out anywhere because of Meleny's service. We will be making the drive from Simpsonville to Spartanburg far more often now because of her. She handles the service industry so well; always keeping a smile on her face even when the restaurant stays so busy. “Got here a few minutes before opening and there was a line. Very cordial and fast moving as they had 2 greeters and registers going. Plenty of parking. Waitress I had was Jennifer…very friendly and always checked in to see if everyone in her section needed anything..don’t have to worry about running out of beverage, as she was on top of it. Food - everything was hot and fresh..which is a very welcoming appeal to buffets, as sometimes when they first open..warmers aren’t always hot. The popcorn shrimp was a little crispier than what I like..but that’s just me and I won’t discredit them for that. Desserts…holy whoa..they “fudge brownie”…heaven on a plate. It’s the standard run of the mill Golden Corral buffet options but something about this one here in Spartanburg seemed different. It’s like they all have a friendly tone to them and it’s just very welcoming overall. I will be back and definitely give this a 5*.”

“This was a last minute stop one Thursday night as we were out in Spartanburg and our movie plans got cut short. My family and I drove past this place and decided to turn in and see what they offered. Not only did they offer AMAZING food, but the atmosphere was so cool. Our server was the highlight of it all. I believe her name was Za (apologies if incorrect). She made the entire trip phenomenal! Friendly, energetic, attentive...like we were family for 30 years. She's the heart of that place! We'll be back just to see her and get some food of course bc from the wings to steaks to burgers to wraps...it was all delicious!”

“I have always enjoyed coming to Mon Amie and have highly recommended it to dozens of people. My early birthday breakfast with my cousin was nothing short of amazing until we were very rudely interrupted by the hostess. She proceeded to ask us about our meal as if she really cared, then very abruptly told us to basically leave because there was a party outside with a baby that needed to be seated because of the very cold weather. I love babies and while I hate to think of it being exposed to cold weather, that's not our problem. My cousin drove an hour to eat with me and we were treated as if their discomfort was our emergency and we needed to act accordingly. This was my cousin's very first experience in this restaurant and probably her last! Our dining experience matters just as much as the next person's, please do better! I want to stress the fact that we were not asked nicely, we were told. Demanded if you will! And yes we are black and they weren't! When I spotted the family with the baby I could see that they were sitting directly beside the heat lamp on the patio and they seem to be enjoying conversation amongst each other, so it was definitely the hostess that did everything besides basically push us out the door! Needless to say we moved on before we were ready to because we will not be where we aren't wanted!”

If you didn’t like Chick-fil-A there are plenty of other places you can go. With that being said I will remain a loyal customer and just prepare for a wait and not complain about it.”

The food was delightful, especially their grilled meatloaf! The grilled flavor goes well with the meatloaf and sauce.
We received exceptional service from Latasha, and she even gave us a tour of the venue area in the back!
This place has that local aesthetic that makes downtown feel like home and potential to be a great hangout spot. I’m looking forward to revisiting and attending some of their events.”
