“I have eaten inside but usually we are in a hurry and Charlie's is so great from taking our orders, payments and getting our food out to us in a timely matter and if course has our order correct every single time I don't normally write reviews but I had to for Charlie's since there is really no other place like them ANYWHERE in Spartanburg. They have places to eat from that both serve chicken sandwiches just like they do but I'm telling you their chicken finger wrap is to die for. Something about how those fingers don't have chewy rubbery pieces or grissel/tendin pieces. Each bite is literally heaven. The way the chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo all roll together in that flour tortilla the best messy experience I have ever had. I don't ever eat chicken since I started raising them myself but I literally cannot pass up their chicken finger wrap whenever we order from Charlie's. Plus they have one person (a sweet girl) running the front of the house while there is only one or two guys cooking in the back and their vibe is always flowing so we'll that it works every single time. They always have a long line in the drive thru yet they don't make you wait long, not ride or short with you they are always kind and patient. The other chicken restaurants on either side of them could take a lesson out of their playbook.“

Whether I order the half off wings or something else off the menu, Whether I leave a $5 tip or $20 tip he always remain the same! “Get it while you can, this is a dying breed. Quintessential Gen X burger place. My whole visit just now could have been an hour of MTV from the 80’s with the Bowl game on all TV’s. Not being a burger person, I opted for the chicken tenders this time. Not the best, but okay. My husband and his brother were with me and they are both burger eaters, so they were both quite satisfied. The sweet potato fries were excellent, as were the regular potato wedge fries. I highly recommend the fry sauce. There is an extensive bakery menu and excellent shakes. Restrooms were exceptionally clean.“

The staff didn’t leave each server to their own table but instead helped each other and checked in with other tables if they thought they may need something. However, what I enjoyed the most was the atmosphere. Regulars that have been coming here for 10 years were joking with staff and vice versa. It felt welcoming and at home. It had mayo but the real surprise was how perfect the honey mustard tasted. I never thought about doing that and so glad I tried this, I now have a new favorite place to eat. Service was lightening fast and very friendly. Loved watching the girls and how well they knew their customers. Very impressive. I give it a 13 out of 10. Great job“

“We first visited The Terrace on Oct-17-2014. Got there around 6:00pm, while it was still daylight outside. Probably the worst thing I can say about the place was that it took 6 to 8 minutes before we were initially greeted outside; after that, literally everything was almost perfect. The wait staff was attentive and friendly, and the food (flatiron steak, salads, lobster spaghetti) was *outstanding* - I'm currently eating a small piece of leftover steak as I type this; steak is almost never very good when re-heated, but it's still juicy and flavorful. The atmosphere was top-notch, with a pleasant breeze, fireside seats, and an outstanding view. We will definitely be back, on special occasions. :-)“

Some days people come in to take Bagels to the office so there is not many to choose from inckuding sweet to savory flavors.You can get a breakfast sandwich with a side of breakfast potatoes.. Yummy. There also have a wide variety of cream cheese mixtures. All yummy.They offer lunch type items but I've never had them but they look good.Seating is a mixture of booths, tables both low and high top.Parking is a big lot and slightly uphill to the restaurant. The handicap ramp is nearby to get onto the sidewalk if you need that.We come here almost weekly for brunch. Staff is efficient. They can make various coffee drinks. They take call in orders too.

Food - everything was hot and fresh..which is a very welcoming appeal to buffets, as sometimes when they first open..warmers aren’t always hot. The popcorn shrimp was a little crispier than what I like..but that’s just me and I won’t discredit them for that. Desserts…holy whoa..they “fudge brownie”…heaven on a plate. It’s the standard run of the mill Golden Corral buffet options but something about this one here in Spartanburg seemed different. It’s like they all have a friendly tone to them and it’s just very welcoming overall. I will be back and definitely give this a 5*.“

“I cannot give enough praise for the service we received this evening by our server, Meleny. She is tremendous! I swear she can read minds because we never had to ask for anything, she just knew how to make this the best dinner possible. Fresh rolls, plenty of sauces, never an empty cup, picture perfect plate presentations; you name it! On top of that, her personality is one of a kind. She is so bright and by the end of the meal I felt like we could be best friends. Texas Roadhouse always has excellent food but this was the best experience dining out anywhere because of Meleny's service. We will be making the drive from Simpsonville to Spartanburg far more often now because of her. She handles the service industry so well; always keeping a smile on her face even when the restaurant stays so busy. My husband ordered the filet medallions with green beans and chilli and I ordered the smothered chicken with broccoli and a salad. I highly recommend both dishes.“

“Absolutely wonderful staff. Food was excellent! Some customer was complaining about waitress looking at his grandson. The waitress did look at him a couple of times for his own safety because he was up walking around touching everything. It was obvious that your grandson was special needs but never did waitress say anything about what he was doing but did glance a couple of times to ensure his safety.This is the BEST Waffle House to visit.“
