“We were.a party of 8 on a Monday at 630pm. We had to wait about 40 minutes for a table which was unfortunate since we had a 5 year old.
Our waitress was great and on point. Unfortunately, one of the entrees came out incorrect.
Mother in law ordered the onion sirloin with gravy on the side but it came out with mushroom gravy on it. MIL just scraped it off and ate it anyway, told the waitress when she brought the bill. the waitress just said "sorry".
As a side note, the margaritas are just tequila and mix. I prefer natural ingredients

“Captain Ds is making a pretty decent comeback. My husband and I used to order & eat the fish & fries, & after we ate, we felt as though our mouths were grease buckets, but lately, the food has been light and crisp. With the exception of the re-dropped french fries - Garners Ferry Rd. However, mostly, the food is cooked appropriately, and the taste aligns with a Seafood FAST Food Restaurant. Lately, the fish portion is pretty good. The food fills your belly. Tea (unsweetened) is fresh.“

“We ate here for the first time this past week and all in all I have no regrets...I am by no means a seafood person but I have to say after getting and eating the big platter I was pretty happy with it My wife always tries to get me to try things I don't like and this time it was the opposite! it was really good! the waitress was kind of distant and uninterested but cordial...very good food ..we will definitely be back!!!“

“Let me start out by saying that every Cook Out restaurant is NOT the same. While a premise behind some fast food restaurants is that the food should generally taste the same at a specific restaurant no matter which on you visit, my mind is changed. The food at the restaurant in Sumter, S.C. was phenomenal! Add to it a clean facility and a very courteous staff, we will absolutely be back to Cook Out after less than pleasant experiences in Virginia. The food was hot, fresh, and tasted great. Keep up the great work!“
