“Small Olde fashioned buffet that is quiet mid week and no lines no waiting. The food is bbq pork (you add your bbq sauce) and fried and roasted chicken today along w hash n rice then fried okra the best sweet boiled corn on the cob along w field peas w snaps Italian flat green beans Mac n cheese collard greens potato salad an choice of pickles Cole slaw fresh bread n butter and a few other items plus soft serve ice cream southern banana pudding and peach cobbler. Pay as you come in. $14-16 for lunch and the best service assisting w carrying drinks a plates and getting refills. They also give a senior discount. And they allow guns ( just keep em put away unless a real need arises). I’d recommend for an olde southern quiet meal even if in a lunch rush. You won’t leave hungry that’s for sure.“

“I had 14 guests for lunch at Christmas time, at the Willcox. Bruce was our server and we all can’t say enough good comments about him. He is a keeper. In my 80 years he is the BEST SERVER I have ever had. Our group just laughed and loved him. Jade was super efficient in caring out my wishes for seating. I cant say enough good about Bruce or Jade. Thanks Wilcox staff for making the food delicious and the occasion so perfect. The last time I ate at the Willcox I was served a hamburger with a molded rolls. “I just wanted to call out Jared who is a facilities management individual. I thought I had lost my Apple Watch and was very apparently not happy - he saw me and asked how my day was - and I said fine. He went one step further and said he could see something was wrong and could he help. I told him I lost my Apple Watch - he walked me through how to find it on my app and voila! It was ringing in my room on the floor! He was so sweet and patient and truly wanted me to have a good day! BRAVO JARED! Wish there were more people like you in the world who are so positive and patient and caring!“

Finally at 12:40 or so they finally came. The cashier was upset because I asked a few times about them and so did she. 8 minutes to fry took almost and entire hour of a lunch break! I wanted to cancel but Im hungry..once I got them, they were hot and really good. no more chicken fingers for me-maybe the okra has shorter cook time!“

“We ate lunch here on 7/2/25. I have always been very pleased but yesterday we had very little to NO service. The hostess took our drink order and brought out right away. The waitress came without much delay. Our food came in a reasonable time. Then the waitress never came back. She walked by one time and my drink was very low. She looked and kept going. Never saw her again. Had to get the attention of someone else and hostess again brought my refill of drink. Another person brought check after we asked for it and took payment. I feel at the price you charge for a drink, I deserve at least one refill. Not happy at all.“
