“I absolutely love these burritos, I've tried them all and they are so good! Big and meaty, totally worth a stop in for them. Our whole town seems to love them! You can also get them smothered in a pork green Chile so delicious, I highly recommend! And if you're not down with the tortilla they have burrito bowls too. Burritos Made fresh or grab one that's already made if you don't have the time. My kids even love them.”

“We had dinner on 8/15/23 during a stop for our cross-country road trip. It turned out to be one of the best places in the 20+ states we have visited. We ordered the full sampler combo as a meal, as well as a Double Jalapeno Cheeseburger. Food came out in a very reasonable time frame. Atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. The combo plate was massive, with tons of excellent appetizers and plenty of dipping sauces. I am very picky about burgers, and this was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Everything was very fresh, especially the jalapenos. The burger had a lot of meat - stacked very high. Fries were excellent. But the biggest surprise was the condition of the bathroom. What a welcome surprise to see a restaurant that genuinely cares about the condition and maintenance of its bathrooms. Super clean and immaculate condition. Any food establishment that cares about its bathrooms clearly cares about its customers. Our servers were outstanding as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!”

We all loved our food - recommend the Ricky Bobby, the twisted chicken salad, the soup, and the cheesesteak. It was all ridiculously good. You will find a friendly face working in this family owned and run business, whether it’s Steve, Lisa, or one of their children. Delicious coffee, smoothies, teas, freshly baked good, etc. await you as you as you step inside! It’s set in a convenient location to downtown Hill City and area attractions. I definitely recommend staying at Mountain Peaks Inn.”
