“Our daughter told us about how awesome this place was! I wasn’t sure how it all worked but the owner walked us through everything so we knew how to work it all.. We have never been to a place like this and wow!!! How fun and perfect for someone who wants to sample a few different beers without the pressure of big lines and worrying you didn’t choose right!! (Or just wanting a little bit of a beer at a time without it getting warm before you are done) I loved the help yourself and just the super fun atmosphere!! The owners and staff were super helpful and very friendly. We didn’t get food but it all looked and smelled so delicious!!! We will absolutely be back!! Thank you for such a fun evening!”

You will find a friendly face working in this family owned and run business, whether it’s Steve, Lisa, or one of their children. Delicious coffee, smoothies, teas, freshly baked good, etc. await you as you as you step inside! It’s set in a convenient location to downtown Hill City and area attractions. I definitely recommend staying at Mountain Peaks Inn.”

“We had dinner on 8/15/23 during a stop for our cross-country road trip. It turned out to be one of the best places in the 20+ states we have visited. We ordered the full sampler combo as a meal, as well as a Double Jalapeno Cheeseburger. Food came out in a very reasonable time frame. Atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. The combo plate was massive, with tons of excellent appetizers and plenty of dipping sauces. I am very picky about burgers, and this was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Everything was very fresh, especially the jalapenos. The burger had a lot of meat - stacked very high. Fries were excellent. But the biggest surprise was the condition of the bathroom. What a welcome surprise to see a restaurant that genuinely cares about the condition and maintenance of its bathrooms. Super clean and immaculate condition. Any food establishment that cares about its bathrooms clearly cares about its customers. Our servers were outstanding as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!”
