“We had the Hasselhoff and the Pickle Pizza and they were SO delicious. Gluten free crust was amazing. No photos cuz we at both pizzas in 5 mins flat. Our server, Sara, was so friendly and had great suggestions! Will definitely be coming back!“

“To say the least, I had one of the best and most memorable experiences I’ve ever had in my life. The breast has been more than accommodating to my needs, but also just in general as a bar, but the bartender Zach kinda gives a homie vibe gives you the feeling that you are at home with your friends, a good place to hang out very well-maintained and well groomed bar where you have an ability to play Some video games and or just the normal camaraderie of a bar to say the least that zach will go out of his way to make sure that you are well taken care of within legal limits and make sure that you get home safely. I went in this town, making sure that another patron Got a physical ride home rather than walking or driving to me that is worth it waiting and gold I think this bar or this establishment deserves a five star rating and she can be kept that way no matter who sees it and I greatly appreciate the camaraderie since I’ve been here“

“The Blue is somewhere that many go for a small dive bar feel. Theres plenty of kind hearted people in this place and great pizza. The bartenders are very nice and pleasant. The music is on the juke box and lots of older music thats country. Theres a particular crowd that hangs out here but nice for a drink. Its very dark in the bar. Theres pool, darts, and slot machines.“

“The restaurant is next to the tavern. Very small room, but the waitress was incredible. Always checking to see if we needed anything.
We had the poor boy shrimp hoagie, we requested if she could split it in two. Glad we did, it was HUGE!!!!!“

“This place is amazing! The ground floor is full of modern ticket games, food, drinks, and prizes. The bottom floor is old school games and pinball. This was a highlight of my trip. There was an awesome open mic night, great games and drinks, and a fun time overall. I will definitely go back to rapid city just to hang out here. They had a great open mic night also! Only a little over a year old this place is next door to Mr. Liquor offf Highway 16.
There are plenty of parking spaces and territorial views from outdoor seating.
Bar seating inside with food trucks outside.
Staff will pour you a free sample of whatever you want to try.“

“The service in the past might have been bad, but we didn't experience that tonight. Spencer did a great job, seating us promptly, asking if we had questions about the menu (we did), answering said questions, asking us if we liked our meals, and keeping our drinks filled.

My wife and I both enjoyed our sandwiches. Lots of interesting flavors in The Spaniard. They worked well together.

Prices seemed pretty much in line with other places in the vicinity.

Now, for the one negative. The salt! The tater tots were way too salty, as was the olive puree on my sandwich. Thankfully, I ordered the latter on the side. Dial the salt back and this would've been a home run.“

“I was there one Saturday and i saw this bartender working alone, asked these people drinking water if they needed anything, they said they would be ok for awhile. Another guy showed up amd sat the. Started complaining, i was think he might as well go stand in line witb the other folk. I think her name was Searra, very hard worker. I think people need to understand these bartenders are one person, not 15, people need to have patience and tip better“

“I reserve 4 and 5 star ratings for special occasions. This place was exactly what I was looking for, short of space to dance and an atmosphere that encourages conversation. The bartenders had a hell of a night and still managed to be on top of everyone's orders. There was a solid amount of people in there with a steady trickle throughout the night. I will be returning to this location.“

My son loved the gluten free pizza and I must say it wasn't bad.
Food was definitely good.

“Updated Sept 2026 - this is the only restaurant that consistently will automatically sit customers in their bar area without first asking if customers mind... then act like it's an inconvenience to sit customers in a different area. PLEASE get in the habit of asking before assuming.

Usually great food and service, broccoli is often close to raw, soup sometimes cold, but the burger is always a hit as are chips and salsa!

Really HATE when they automatically go to seat us in the bar without asking first. I've brought this up several times (that they ask first instead of assume) but they apparently assume everyone wants to sit in the bar area, even with a wide open restaurant during nonbusy times.“
