“Any taqueria that makes tortillas in house is worth checking out. This place is no exception. I had a few asada tacos, and it was as good as any number of spots that serves similar food in Phoenix that I've been to. Very simple menu as well, but simplicity works in this case. The caveats are that it's cash only, and there's literally two chairs in there to sit while you wait for your order. Definitely a little mom and pop atmosphere, but the quality of the food makes it worth it.“
“Simply amazing. Nice people in this little boutique food court. Several options for salsa that are clearly homemade and all are fabulous. I had a burrito and was floored by this little place in Sioux Falls. Do not pass them by if you are in the area!!!“
“A good place to stop for dinner. We sat at the bar and I ordered the turkey club, which was huge. I paired it with grilled mixed vegetables, cooked to perfection. The hot burger had a tangy BBQ sauce and jalapeños. Service was prompt and welcoming. There is a casino attached to it.“
“Yeah, top three Latino foof establishments in Sioux Falls. We have not been disappointed. Ask for their uber hot salsa if you are looking for a kick. Prices are competitive, service is great. Chips and salsa complimentary of course. Love this place.“
“We visited during lunch with five of us. We ordered a variety of dishes and it all came out super fast. The chips and salsa/white dip were fantastic and I really enjoyed the enchiladas. The decor and vibe feel fresh, and overall I have enjoyed my few experiences eating there!Dietary restrictions: Good number of gluten-friendly options.“
“Papusas for the win!Vegetarian options: Ask and they will spoil you! My favorite is papusas with cheese and loroco. Add the slaw and sauce and get ready to smile!Kid-friendliness: Staff is beyond sweet and beyond helpful. Families are always there and it is just a great environment to enjoy your family meal.“
“First time here. We came in, party of 3 and were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. Our buzzer went off after 5 minutes. We were seated and our drink orders were taken. Service was prompt. The place was packed, but clean. Food was outstanding. It was our daughter's birthday and they brought out ice cream with a giant sparkler and sang. Awesome experience. WE'LL BE BACK!!!“
“First time there!! After all these years we finally went! The food was remarkable and the service was fast and friendly! Prices were worth every bit of what we paid!! The only downfall was that it's a little tight in there. But overall, the experience and food is worth a little closeness!!“
“I stopped in for dinner and ordered four tacos and fries. For the tacos, I ordered two chorizo, one lengua, and one chicharron. The chorizo tacos were by far my favorite and were seasoned perfectly, and had a nice crunch. The lengua was great, soft, mild in taste, and with a nice amount of moisture. The chicharron was delicious and crunchy. When I’m in the area, I will come back“
“This is a great spot for truly authentic Mexican tacos in Sioux Falls. I had been a couple times during the pandemic, and on a recent visit to Sioux Falls I thought I would try it again (subsequent to actually living in Mexico). It did not disappoint! There are a variety of meats to choose from, pastor, carnitas, chicken, steak, etc, and if you prefer a burrito or a torta those options are available also. I three tacos, a chicken, a pastor (marinated pork), and carnitas. I would say that chicken and the pastor were great, but the carnitas is maybe not their strong suit - overall though, the tacos were delicious and about as original as you can get this far north of the border. Prices are also extremely reasonable. Another must try in Sioux FallsOn Mondays (and maybe certain other days of the week) they close at 3, so keep that in mind if you plan to go.“
“It's my first experience I ordered the carne asada burrito (item on right in photo )along with a steak Sopes ( item on left first timer check spelling) both were THE BOMB! Burrito was a little to packed full with rice however still a ? ? experience !Parking: Due to The amount of businesses located on this strip mall as well as The two surrounding businesses parking could be trickyKid-friendliness: Very clean, fun, energetic staff operating and maintaining this eatery!Wheelchair accessibility: I did see two ramps located at each opposite end of the building as well as friendly staff greeting for complications that may arise from traffic in and out of restaurant“
“We are from Kansas City and stopped in here! First off the inside is super cool, and the menus are like old records. Our server Elliot was absolutely wonderful and so informative about the menu and about the restaurant itself! The food was outstanding, and we ended up buying extra just so we could have more for leftovers. I highly recommend the BBQ and buffalo tacos. The margaritas are great as well! , The social club inside is an adults dream for a night out. They have bowling, beer pong, Mario cart, shuffleboard, pool, and so much more! Please open a location in Kansas City!!!“
“I've been coming to Mama's Lara's for six or seven years now. It's a must whenever I'm working at the theater across the street. In fact, I look forward to those chicken enchiladas for a couple of weeks beforehand. I usually start with a basket of their chips and homemade salsa. Incredible! Truthfully, one enchilada would be enough but two of them make me smile even brighter. I love the eclectic decor inside and the staff always makes me feel like a regular. Just a cool, local spot located in the heart of downtown.“
“I went to pancheros because I was tired of getting small burritos from qdoba and chipotle so I figured I’d try this place out. Everything about this place is better, the food, portion size, and price. I got a steak burrito and it’s the best I’ve had in years. The only reason I rated the food 4 out of 5 is because some of the steak was fatty but that was only like two pieces“
“I enjoy the food every time I come here! The workers are very kind. I’ve noticed when my husband and I eat here it’s usually around $23 for us vs chipotle being close to $28-30 when we go there. So far it’s been delicious and fresh each time I’ve been here.“
“From a verified customer, see the attached picture.Taco John's kicks Taco Bell's butt!! Taco Jim's Far exceeds Taco Bell any time any day! Our first visit to try Taco John's was today. They were quick and efficient at the drive thru after helping us make great decisions on our meal.1. Taco John's speed of service from taking the order to us driving away with our food was great and far exceeded any trip we've made to Taco Bell.2. We got to talk to excellent customer service people. My last trip to Taco Bell, there was no longer any human cashier nor anyone to help use the robot self-order menu. I got so frustrated I walked out and haven't been back.3. The food we received was hot and fresh with warm soft tortillas and fresh ingredients. There was so much tender chicken and nacho cheese on my grilled chicken burrito that I was biting into heaven! And it was filled from end to end so that every bite had wonderful flavor, not like the food at Taco Bell with stale totillas and nothing but dry and tasteless ends with all the meager portions of food just in the center of the burritos. My wife's triple chicken street taco were double the size she expected and the fresh ingredients made the flavors great! The large Pepsi was a 42oz cup and tasted great compared to Taco Bell large 32oz cup and the flavor has been off, probably poor brix settings. We got more great soda which cost less than TB. We added a side of nacho cheese for the hash brown taters and the cup and portion size was almost double what you get from TB.4. We received everything exactly as we ordered which Taco Bell has decided to screw up every order always missing food and what is made is not how food is ordered. Even when you go back and ask for the items that are missing and re-emphasize how those items were ordered, they still make those remakes wrong.5. We spent less money here at Taco John's in Sioux Falls SD, and were happily filled, where at Taco Bell we would have had to spend at least $10 more and get smaller portions, unfilled bags of chips, and always a screwed up order from the Sioux Falls SD Taco Bell on Louise Ave.We made the decision on the last screwed up order at TB, to stop ever going again, which had been 2 to 3 times a week with orders in excess of $75, and to find a replacement. This was a no brainer and I couldn't wait to write a review about this.Taco John's in Sioux Falls South Louise Ave, you all shine and stand miles above that other place. Great job! We're so happy and we're already telling friends and family. We'll be spending our hard earned money, coming to eat at your wonderful establishment.Thank you,Doug and Debbie P.“
“We moved away in 2019 and are now back in the area, our first stop was PV as we recall it being one of our favorites. People are always kind and accommodating and the restaurant is clean. The economic situation of the world is vastly different now versus 5 years ago. I understand prices have to go up to offset the bottom line of operating business. We used to eat 2 dinner meals plus drinks for around $25-30. That is now about $40-50. It’s still worth it for our family as a special treat but the prices have inevitably gone up. Still a good place to go, albeit more expensive. Thank you PV!“

“The cashier gave me cheaper options with the things I originally wanted, I could tell she wanted to help me spend the least amount of money lol. Food was great! Totally recommend the tacos with asada or lengua with rice and beans! Good combination! It is not that packed for eating inside either, felt totally comfortable!“
“I’m a just say this I been a lot of place even in different cities and I can’t say I have not had good food but qudoba is great food let’s start there? it’s clean the people are nice the workers are amazing workers and do I have to go there again the food is excellent thanks qudoba I recommend this restaurant to all my friends and “
“Loved the food! I got the steak burrito and I forgot to tell em only steak and cheese and rice, well after they made it and I realized it, I asked if it could be made like the way I like and they had no problem doing it. Didn't even get charge like I thought I would! And I lovecthe green Chilli sauce! My favorite!“
“One of three good things we found in South dakota. ALL ELSE was the worst experience of a lifetime. Being from San Diego area desperately sought GOOD Mexican food. After 1.5 years in hell there, we found this small authentic store/restaurant! These ladies are so sweet and great food! Made several visits in three weeks, all fabulous. One meal the fried whole fish meal was overcooked and dry or they would've gotten five stars. If you happen to be in Sioux Falls, check this place out. It's in a seedy neighborhood, small strip of stores and only a few tables, but worth the stop in!“
“This was my first time ordering Qdoba catering to meal prep. I ordered a double order of their grilled chicken, a single order of peppers and onion, pinto beans and their Queso. The order was ready within 5 minutes of my arrival. I was able to divide everything in my order into 15 meals that worked out perfectly for the week. This worked out to under $8 per meal for a week. If someone preferred less portions, you could easily get 20 servings. I will be doing this again very soon.“
“We were looking for a place to grab a quick bit for lunch. I am so glad I found Vinyl Taco on our road trip. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was amazing. I love theme bars, and this is such a cool spot. I love everything from the Mexican flare to the rock music played from vinyl records and unique touches throughout the entire restaurant. I am sad that this place is not closer to me. The cilantro lime chicken taco was my favorite. My fiancée doesn't usually order chicken for his burrito. He did this time, OMG! That smoked chicken was amazing. And I LOVE that when you order a margarita, you get the actual ounces in alcohol drink without the ice. Fantastic experience.“
“My wife and I stopped for lunch. The chef made me a seafood chimi which is not on the menu. My wife had the stuffed pablono pepper. The food and service were incredible. Hats off to the staff. I might add that you could pay more attention to the restrooms.“
“The only food place open if I want to get food after 10 pm.The order tastes different everytime, but it's not too bad. They serve biggg portion with a very cheap price.Try flan, not the best, very sugary, but it's nice to try out.“
“Service was amazing. We went in with a party of 17 and they took suck good care of us. There were alot of employees that helped our table out. Thank you for EVERYTHING. The food was also a hit we have already been back twice since we tried it. Very good all 3 times I've been in. Definitely give this restaurant a try. Get the stuffed sopapia!! Amazing and thank you all.“
“I had an adobada burrito with queso added inside. The meat was great. There was guac, which wasn't listed on the menu or I probably would've ordered something else, but it was good as guacamole goes. The tortillas were the kind I like, but if you prefer thicker, more bread-like flour tortillas, this may not be for you. Good service. Booths and tables could stand to be cleaned more often, but with the nature of a taco shop, it was decent. The restrooms were nice and clean.“
“Wow that was the best Birria taco's and consume I think i have ever had!! My wife had the Taco Salad with carne asada and there was not one fork full that she took that was not chock full of meat! And the homemade flour tortilla bowl melted in your mouth after the salad was consumed. We were served 3 types of hot sauce and each had a different distinctive flavor that was different and delicious unto itself. Our server Rebecca was so sweet and kind she made sure we lacked absolutely nothing and helped us with our terrible Spanish as we tried to order in the restaurant's language. She was very accommodating and attentive to all our needs. We also had a chocolate cake for dessert and oh my goodness it was the perfect end to a marvelous dinner!! The restaurant is a very unassuming place but believe me you will not regret giving this place a try!! It is a definite do over for us!! Being from califas this place is a gem!“
