“Best Mexican food we’ve had here in S Falls. Their Beans are different; you can taste the love and care (and clay pot!). Rice actually had a flavor, unlike all other rice in this town.

Fajitas had a great grilled taste, Birria was delish, Lengua was just like we remember from California, Pastor was yummy.

Side squeeze bottles of red / green salsas were a nice touch and I’m absolutely OBSESSED with the green salsa!

“We just love Puerto Vallarta and have been regular customers for years. Every time we eat any other Mexican food, it just pales in comparison to Puerto Vallarta. And the staff and owner are friendly and very accommodating! With all the Mexican restaurants opening in Sioux Falls, Puerto Vallarta is still our go-to because of the food, prices, and friendliness of the staff.“

“Food was very good. Nice opener with chips and salsa (and a weird tartar sauce type dip). One order incorrect - beans instead of rice & cheese quesadilla instead of chicken- still good. Beans were better than the rice anyway. Recommend the birria tacos. Not happy about the credit card 3% upcharge, who carries cash these days? Based on that I probably wouldn’t return.“

“I wish we had a Pancheros closer to where we live. I like to visit when I'm in the Sioux Falls area. I like the size and softness of the burritos. My most recent visit, the steak had a lack of flavor. But most of the time everything is good.“

“I love this place, it’s probably my favorite place to eat in Sioux Falls. However, tonight’s when I went there, I overheard the employees mocking me in Spanish. I’m sure it was innocent and all in fun and games however, what they didn’t know is that I speak Spanish. I did make sure they knew I spoke Spanish and even said, “excuse me, what did you say?” In Spanish. They sure looked like deer caught in headlights. Extremely disappointed and not sure if I’ll return. Maybe inform your employees that more than just Hispanics take an interest in the language.“

“Excellent flavor, and a relaxing atmosphere. I had the Carne Asada and would recommend it. Make sure you are hungry, because it is a ton food, but every bite was delicious. I understand the owner made the food. I also had the garlic mushrooms, with avocado. Such a surprise. Very happy we stopped here.“

“We love this Chipotle! It is always clean, the service is fast and friendly and food is always fresh. It’s never too busy, they play soft background music in Latin language and the room temperature is very comfortable, not too cold to the contrary to some other places. This makes me want to stay in and eat food inside to enjoy the atmosphere instead of rushing out. One of the most important aspects of this particular location is the large parking space that is easily accessible if you are pulling a trailer behind your vehicle. We are pulling a 14 foot trailer behind and chose this location over other options specifically for the parking lot.“

“12th street rocks ! You know I always stop here in the evening between 5:00 and 12:00 to take advantage of the crispy Taco special and their entire staff is just a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to coming here. But on this particular Monday afternoon what I needed from them was not related to tacos. I had sold a record player on eBay and I remember working here once upon a time and I thought to myself, boy I wonder if they have an empty box laying around, something I could use to ship; well, Brett and Thomas were able to help me out with what I needed and I applaud their efforts. “I’ve been going to this TJ’s instead of the one close to me for at least 3 yrs now. I usually go through Drive. Whenever I go thru, the employees are always smiling at each other and doing something if not busy. Someone is sweeping, cleaning the pop heads, wiping down cupboards and countertops while smiling and talking to other members. Sometimes even laughing. They get my order right 99% of the time and it’s always proportioned the same. Tonight 12/12 I had my first fish taco this year and the line cook asked if I was ok with its 4 minute cook time, he wanted to make sure it did not hold me up if I was in a hurry. I waited and he made me the freshest and tastiest fish taco- I had to call him and compliment him! He said I was the 2nd person that called during his shift to compliment his fish tacos. I 💯 believe it!

Quality, Consistency, great morale, and friendly service are hallmarks of this store. They are worth my drive further than the TJ’s just a few blocks down the street.

“This store has really stepped up lately my food has been nice and neat in the bags when I order delivery and when I eat in the lobby my food is laid nice and neat on the tray. Napkins and silverware are usually in the bag also nice and neat for delivery. The bathroom was clean and had paper towels which is a plus.. I definitely can see an improvement :) way to go taco johns! You got this!“

I'm not sure who the guy with glasses I always see is, I will assume maybe a shift lead or general manager because I see him very often during lunch hours on weekdays in drive thru, but his enthusiasm and readiness to provide outstanding service is so great!
