“We had a wonderful late dinner here. We ordered several different appetizers for the table and made a delicious meal with it. We had the chicken lettuce wrap, fried green beans, pork fried dumplings, dynamite roll, northern style ribs and egg drop soup. There was plenty of food for three of us. Matthew, our waiter was awesome and provided excellent service. We definitely will visit this location again when we’re in Memphis.“

“Went in on the lunchbreak with the rest of the crew, cause one of em swore by the place. I get it now. Nothing but love for Mama Julie, super sweet and charismatic woman whos been running things longer than anyone on my crews been alive, at a solid 35 years. Great place, wonderful owner, and I walked out of the door with the biggest tray of fried rice I've ever ordered.

Theres also some hidden gems in the snacks and drink fridges that you'll have a hard time finding anywhere else. :)“

“My coworker and I go here often for lunch and will order to-go. The food is ALWAYS delicious and hot! I usually get fried rice, egg drop soup, bourbon chicken, or egg rolls. There are tables and seating inside, but most customers, it seems, typically get their food to-go. Their take out containers are good quality, and I never have any spills or leaks. I highly recommend New China for good quality chinese cuisine!“

“Absolutely love this place. We tried it on a whim as my wife wanted a specific thick dumpling that no other place had and when we saw a photo of it on Google at china garden we gave them a shot. We now eat there multiple times a week and they always smile and yell welcome back my friend! When I come in and are extremely inviting and the food is delicious. I get mei fun every time and she gets sweet and sour chicken with dumplings. We live in the heart of millington but gladly pass everything else by to go to china garden. “Nam King is my favorite restaurant. I love the wonton soup, combination mei fun and green pepper steak. My husband loves the shrimp fried rice, green beans and egg foo young. The food is so fresh and delicious. We have tried many different restaurants in Memphis. Nam King restaurant is the best .“

“Excelent Chinese food made on the spot. Fresh ingredients, awesome flavor. We order at least twice a week because we live in the area. However the area is not very nice unfortunately, and neither is the location. The place have tables but the restaurant was converted to delivery mostly, so there is no dining in although they still have their tables. Their menu looks smaller now than the original but they still prepare the dish if you request it. Our favorite dishes there are the broccoli and shrimp, Moo goo Gai pan, Moo Shu vegetable, vegetable lo mai and show Mai, egg Fu yong and their fry rice is fantastic!! Even in busiest days their order pick ups are no more than 20 min! The lady is very nice to us and we always customize one thing or another like extra onions in the rice, extra shrimp, more sweet and sour sauce instead of soy and duck sauce, etc“

“I ordered the egg foo young twice and averaged 5 patties per order. If you factor in inflation and the cost of eggs, I think I made money off them. Veg chop suey was great too - a lot vegetables even in a small order and wasn’t greasy. The people who run it are very personable and warm.“

However, you feel very welcome and everyone who comes in loves the food.
My go-to is the Young Chow fried rice and the C-Fu jalapenos wings.
The Young Chow is very fresh tasting and loaded with flavor. The wings are full of flavor as well with crunchy good skin.
The Duck soup is scrumptious.
Again, those place is pickup only, so call ahead and you will be in and out and home while it's still hot.

I got orange chicken with fried rice and a chicken & broccoli with fried rice. The orange chicken was sweet, tangy and citrusy. “I dined in this place 3 times in last few months for my business trip to Memphis. I ordered mainly vegetarian dishes ( except chicken spinach one time). Based on my experience, food is relatively better than other places and cooked fresh. Staff is very polite and I was amused by the delivering robot! One advise I have is, perhaps keep the noise level down little bit. Overall, it's definitely worth your money“

“We have been eating at Wang’s for many years. We have occasionally tried other Chinese restaurants, especially when we travel. We have never found another one that comes close. Their menu is extensive, and they offer a nice wine selection. We always order several of the appetizers because it’s too hard to narrow down our choices. For entrees, we especially like the Ta-Chin chicken, Kung Pao chicken, all the wok tossed options. Delicious food and nice people.“
