“I came to support a group of students earlier this week to celebrate winning king and queen of the school. First of all let me say the staff was very rude to the administration staff. Even though reservations were made and confirmed and they knew in advance that the students were coming they refused to seat our party and denied the reservations ever being made even after being shown the email messages. The female manager asked for us to wait outside of the restaurant being that it was about 42 degrees that day until the limousine arrived to pick the students back up . The children were dressed in their Sunday best with white dresses and the young boys were in tuxedos and were looking forward to having their luncheon that was awarded to them for their hard work at school. I strongly believe that if the students were not all African American and staff as well they would have treated us differently. I will never ever support nor spend money with Majestic Grill again. I was hurt the way they treated these students who worked oh so hard and were looking forward to what was supposed to be a special day to remember.“

“We had a wonderful late dinner here. We ordered several different appetizers for the table and made a delicious meal with it. We had the chicken lettuce wrap, fried green beans, pork fried dumplings, dynamite roll, northern style ribs and egg drop soup. There was plenty of food for three of us. Matthew, our waiter was awesome and provided excellent service. We definitely will visit this location again when we’re in Memphis.“

“Definitely my favorite food on Beale Street. Probably gonna see the best bands on Beale also. Definitely not cookie cutter like some of the other live music venues. I ordered the fried catfish plate with Mac n cheese, fried okra, and cucumber salad for pick up… Food was ready in 10 minutes and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! “Our dining experience was comparable, if not above, the one we had at the French Laundry, in Napa. From being seated to our departure the service and cuisine were magnificent. The service staff was exemplary. All were very congenial, knowledgeable, helpful, and masterful of their responsibilities Our dining was preceded by being seated, by, Bella, for a short wait, where were given Champagne and hors'doeuvres. After being seated our server, Solomon, brought us two perfectly made dry, shaken, Grey Goose Martinis served up. We ordered the four course menu. I had my courses with the wine pairing of the evening. and my wife enjoyed a bottle of 2023 Cake Bread Chardonnay. While we enjoyed our cocktail we were served an assortment of appetizers and a bread serving. Our first course was a serving of two very rich and tasty ravioli. Our second course was a serving of Ahi Tuna Crudo ,which was delightful in it's mixture of tuna fruit and spice. Prior to our third course were invited to meet the chef in the kitchen and enjoy a palette cleanser. The chef was a young, pleasant, cordial, and very interesting man. For our third course we had the Tornados of Elk which was tender, savory and cooked to perfection. For our fourth Course I had the strawberry shortcake and my wife the White Chocolate Ice cream . Both desserts were the perfect ending to a splendid repast. I whole heartedly recommend Chez Philippe for a delightful dining experience.“

“This was our first time there, and we ordered the Ali Baba Special Mixed Grill (for two) and Kibbeh. The food was absolutely delicious, and plentiful. Everything was grilled/cooked beautifully with a perfect amount of spice and flavor. The Kibbeh was beyond delicious! Our server was Hamza and he was very helpful and thoughtful, and we really appreciated his attentive - but not hovering - service! We will definitely be back (soon)!“

“It was my wife's 50th birthday, and we had nine people sitting at our table, and our server was about as excellent as you could get with so many people to handle, plus his other tables. The food was exactly what you would want! The air was a bit warm in the Napa room, until they opened some panels that divided it with the next room over (when we were almost done), but that's probably our only complaint. My wife had an outstanding time, and so did her friends! “

“This place was so good, we ate here twice during our visit to Memphis! By far, my favorite items were the BBQ sandwich plate and the waffles. They also had a great selection of desserts. The place was clean and quiet, and I really loved their window art. I got both orders to go. Parking is street parking, so prepare for that!“

I was served by Shannon C who is friendly, polite, professional, courteous, and has a GREAT sense of humor, so make sure to ask for Shannon C. The decorations on the Wall and elsewhere is Cool and Funky. The whole Menu has good selections. I ordered the Steak Burger with Mushrooms, Onions and Gravy, Eggs with Coffee that is delicious. I ordered the Catfish with Coleslaw and Onion Rings to go. Overall GREAT Experience !... A MUST GO when visiting Memphis, TN.“

The food was so hot and fresh and came out extremely quickly considering we ordered 5 different sushi rolls and an order of rangoon’s.
