“I’m very picky on Ethiopian food as an Ethiopian with a mom who cooks the best; however, the Kitfo at Abem was a real competition. We also had tibs and veggie combo, which were all fresh and delicious. The ingera too was on point. I like to eat Ethiopian with a spoon, which they offered. I was impressed by the quality and taste at this restaurant and will definitely be back whenever I’m in Nashville.“

“King Market is our favorite Asian food in Nashville! Any time I feel like I need a warm hug in my belly I come here and I get the beef pho. All of their other food is also delicious. We will always share an order or two of the spring rolls, frequently go for the pad thai, pad se ew, paneng, and any of their soups/curries. When we’re feeling extra special we’ll also get an order of the chicken wings, they are to die for. The women who work here are so kind and polite and take their time to get to know you the more you come in. I love bringing people here as well and the most fun is shopping in the market after a delicious meal!“

“We have been awaiting S&H at the Factory for some time and boy did it not disappoint! We had the Husky Red Light Special pizza…BUT….do not think you don’t need some wings! They were some of the best wings I ever had!! Mafia style!! Of course we had to try the cinnamon rolls…they too were epic! We also had the pleasure to meet Clint one of the owners! What a super guy! He really took time to chat with us, told us a little bit about the S&H story and I can def see why he and his partners/business is so successful! With all that said… I know you’re wanting to check out Slim & Husky’s as soon as possible or as soon as your tummy starts grumbling,Ha!“

“Saw a review of Everest Restaurant and Bar and saw they served Nepali, Indian, and Bhutanese cuisines. I’ve never had Nepali food and looked forward to learning how different it was from Indian foods. My server Sushmita took my drink order, and I wanted to try a Gorkha Beer from Nepal. Sadly, they were out of Gorkha so I went with Taj Mahal beer from India…a very good lager. I wanted to try a variety of different items and informed Sushmita my spice level was mild, so I ordered the following: Chicken Momo JHOL. I’m still not sure if this is a soup or a dumpling stew. The Momo are pretty big, and there were eight of them in this dish. I would rank this “soup” as one of the best soups I’ve ever enjoyed and would order this again and make this my meal! The Lamb Thali is a platter made up of several different dishes which are supposed to create a balanced meal. I cannot remember what Sushmita called each little cup of food or sauce on the tray but the lamb was to be eaten with one, two, or many of the side sauces or garnishments. The lamb was slightly overcooked but wasn’t tough and overall this was still a good dish and an experience in itself. I did figure out the small round ball is the dessert item called Gulab Jamun…OMG it was rich, sweet, and delicious. The place is not much to look at on the inside but it is clean, and while Sushmita and I may have experienced some communication issues, she took great care of me. There are a few more interesting noodle dishes here I would love to try on my next visit.“

“This 5 star review is full of heart ache. They're food is so good. But it has been 278 days since my last vegan tamale. I check the menu with the deepest of hopes that the tamales will be listed, but alas they are not. Why are they hoarding these beautiful things? WHYYYY!? I beseech thee to add the Tamales back to the menu and keep them on the menu as regular items. We are in dark times and the light of the tamales must shine thru!“

“This is a must visit and goesvall the way back to old Greer Stadium across the street. They used to have a secret menu locked in a samsonite briefcase super glued to the wall. Best hotdogs anywhere and make sure to get sweet potato fries. Distinctly Nashville. Where the locals eat lunch.“

“This has recently become one of my favorite plant based spots in Nashville after trying them at Hunters Station last weekend, then having my boyfriend go back later that night and the next day to grab us food. The fish sandwich tastes exactly like fish and the cheesy potatoes compliment it to well. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they open up on a more consistent basis but for now I’m ok with stalking their insta page to see where their going to be. 10/10“

“My wife visited here about 6 months ago and got coffee on her way to the airport and hasn’t stopped talking about it since. We’re here for New Years and she made sure we came by. I got an iced white mocha, which is better than anyone I’ve ever had anywhere else and we also shared a Biscoff cheesecake which was absolutely incredible. The staff is super friendly and the coffee is amazing, you can’t go wrong if you come check this place out.“

“The East Nashville location is the heart of the operation and part of its charm. The space feels rustic and lived-in, the kind of place where the food—and the people—are the real stars. The service is consistently friendly and genuinely fantastic, adding to the relaxed, neighborhood feel that visitors love. If you’re able, Connie and I strongly recommend finding a seat at the bar and ordering from there. It’s the best way to settle in and soak in the experience and enjoy the hospitality up close.
When it comes to the food, Mas Tacos Por Favor punches far above its weight. The carne molina taco is, without question, the best taco I’ve had anywhere—rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The soups are equally impressive, slow-simmered and packed with comforting depth, and the black beans are outstanding, the kind of side dish you’ll keep thinking about long after the meal. Nothing here feels like an afterthought.“

“What a great experience! First, food was so good! The sauce on the wings was delicious and I can’t stop raving about the baked beans and BANANA PUDDING!!!! But to top it off, our waitress went above and beyond. She gave us perfect recommendations and offered for us to try the banana pudding on the house because it’s that good… she was not kidding! Then gave an extra serving of baked beans to go because I was raving about them so much! We will 100% be back (regularly)!!“

“We came here for a girls' night out and were absolutely blown away! The restaurant offers a stunning panoramic view of the Nashville skyline, creating a beautiful ambiance. The food was exceptional! The tuna tartare, prepared tableside, was incredibly fresh with great flavor--an absolute must-try!! The duck fat fries were perfectly crispy and served with three delicious sauces, each one better than the last. The steak was cooked perfectly medium, juicy and tender, and the seared scallop on the side was a delightful addition. This spot is perfect for a girls' night out or a rom“

“A classy place with a nice atmosphere.
1. Cucumber Hibiscus Negroni 11 (mocktail)
A not too sweet, refreshing non-alcoholic drink. Perfect.
2. Bread & Butter 6 (Parker roll)
Very good. Butter is slightly sweet and goes well with salt & pepper on top of the bread. Highly recommended.
3. Etch 10
The signature salad that crowns its own name. It has accents of blue cheese, melon, and nuts. It could have been with a little less dressing but still very good and can be recommended.
4. Chef’s Creation 56 (mahi-mahi)
Cooked just right to have a crispy skin. Potatoes were also made crispy outside and I couldn’t stop having more. Again it could have had a little less sauce but still it was very good.
5. Chocolate Mousse Bar (à la mode with ice cream) 13(+3)
It was rather an ordinary sweet chocolate cake.“

“If you are looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Edessa Restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee is the place to be. As someone who has traveled almost 80 miles to indulge in the delicious Turkish food, I can attest that Edessa Restaurant is a hidden gem that should not be missed. The restaurant's ambiance is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who welcome you with a smile. The service is prompt, and the food always arrives hot and fresh. The menu is detailed in English, making it easy to understand, and there is no confusion when it comes to choosing what to order. What makes Edessa Restaurant stand out is the presentation of their food, which is nothing short of jaw-dropping. Each dish is beautifully plated, and the flavors are expertly balanced. The cleanliness of the restaurant is also noteworthy, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic dining experience. In my recent visits, our server Hanan was exceptional. Her name in Arabic means "Tenderness with compassion and affection," and she truly lived up to her name by providing prompt and attentive service with a smile. As someone who has tried various types of cuisine from different cultures, I can confidently say that Edessa Restaurant's Turkish food and service are unmatched. I highly recommend anyone looking to try something new and unique to visit Edessa Restaurant in Nashville, TN. I give it 5 stars, and it is undoubtedly the number-one Turkish restaurant around.
