“Waited for a bit for a server but it was worth the wait. Brittany took great care of us! We had the Pizza Rockefeller & Filet bites. Both were tasty but the Filet bites were the bomb! They were so good we ordered the 9 oz filet w/ mushrooms to go & the wings. The guy behind us had the wings and they looked amazing & huge! So glad we found this place on our travels. Cold draft beer too!“

“Pretty good course. However, I would not rate it as a must play. Some challenging holes and some fun to play. The fairways are not plush and the greens were nothing to write home about. This place is nicer than most local courses but definitely not a top tier course.“

“We absolutely LOVE Drakes!! We went yesterday (Wednesday), around 2pm and service was fast. I don’t remember our waiters name, but she had tattoos and was extremely pretty. She was so wonderfully sweet!! She took the time to explain the menu, what she recommended and to tell us about their ingredients. Def recommend Drakes in Bristol, TN!!“

“I'm posting this about the Bristol location. There's a certain group of people who come in and sit at a bar table in the corner. I've seen this happen twice when they arrived orher customers had been seated at the table they like. Prior to receiving food the other customers have been asked to move to another table so this special group (they think they are )can have their regular table! I'm so upset that they let this happen especially management! I would have refused to leave the table if I was already seated. This is just ridiculous and I did make comments about it to our waitress and loud enough for the special group to hear. I never knew we could make people move at their table if we waited to sit there at Applebee's but they did last night and it's not the first time I've seen it. I may not ever go back.“

“My wife and I recently visited J Frank after hearing great things and having it on our list for a while. We made the short trip to Bristol with high expectations, and while there were certainly highlights, the overall experience was a bit underwhelming.

We started with the trout dip, which was delicious and easily the standout dish of the evening for me. The cocktails were decent—not exceptional, but still enjoyable.

For my entrée, I ordered the 14 oz. New York strip, which came with a Caesar salad and duck fat roasted potatoes. Unfortunately, the Caesar salad was surprisingly basic, lacking the depth of flavor I typically expect from a fine dining establishment. The steak itself was overcooked and didn’t carry the richness or seasoning I had hoped for. On a more positive note, the potatoes were excellent—crispy, flavorful, and well-prepared.

My wife chose the sirloin and crab cake entrée with creamed corn. Her sirloin was cooked beautifully and packed with flavor—she considered it the highlight of her meal. However, the creamed corn had an overpowering nutmeg flavor that didn’t quite work for her palate.

For dessert, I ordered the crème brûlée. It was good, though at a $10 price point, it didn’t quite stand out in the way we hoped.

Overall, our experience was good but fell short of the elevated expectations we had going in. That said, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was charming and well-executed. While it may not become a regular spot for us, we wouldn’t rule out giving J Frank another try in the future.“

“Got an excellent bagel from Bristol Bagel this am - and the best Tomato Basil soup I’ve ever had (which you can buy by the quart sometimes!). While the food was exceptional, the service was even better. I watched as the team today helped a customer who was struggling with a new card. They hadn’t activated it yet, so it wasn’t working. The team explained how they could get the card activated and did so with such care and compassion. They were exceedingly patient and understanding. I foresee eating far more bagels moving forward. That’s the kind of care I love seeing in the world.“

“After Driving 3 hours it was a breath of fresh air to have Malissa serve us. Just a Fabulous Team environment. One of the employees was getting off and went out of her way to assist us until Malissa could get to us. TEAM WORK. The environment was clean the Cook was very organized and the food came out quickly. The flavor of all the food was excellent. Just an awesome environment and experience at this location.“
