“My husband, an avid fan of our local IHOP, didn't understand why I was insisting to locate & try Perkins on our road trip. We landed in our seats at 2:30, it took us at least 5 minutes to decide what we wanted to order, my husband craving a smoke asked if he would have time to smoke. Our fantastic hostess assured him he would have time, note we were seated as close as possible to the door. He walked out the door & I glanced at the dessert menu then in a blink, our hot food was on the table before my husband could return! It was 2:40! He was so delighted with how delicious his meal was that I got to say "I TOLD YOU IT WOULD BE WORTH IT" & he definitely agreed. I couldn't believe that I could actually order my BLT on SOURDOUGH bread! The Tomato Basil soup was the best that I've ever tasted! I can't remember the name but I searched out the lowest cal dessert, strawberry cream cheese something & it was mouthwatering. He had the Chicken Fried Steak & said it was the most tender he has ever had & he has ordered it from multiple eateries. Served exactly as he had asked. he had ordered a side of gravy because never before had he gotten enough gravy served on his plate. We had to take the side to go because his plate was perfect! We were both so full that we had to take dessert to go. I can't believe MY HUSBAND actually finished his entire banana nut muffin! Sweets are not his thing so I was expecting at least a bite offered to me. I took a 1/2 dozen pumpkin Muffins to family that had kept out dog & they reported them to also be fantastic. My only complaint was that they are so far from my home! I will be searching for an excuse to get back there a soon as possible!“

“We ordered from here while passing through on our way to Tennessee. The bartender/takeout host was extremely friendly. She filled up my son‘s water bottles, and did it with a smile on her face. The portion sizes were huge, and the food was delicious. It came with the most delicious croissants!“

“We went to the store at Exit 63 in Kingsport, near Tri-Cities Airport. We were seated right away, but waited 20 or so minutes with out any service. The tables beside us were quickly waited on. They didn't have many tables seated, so not very busy. We got up and left and drove to Exit 7. We were seated right away, the server (Anna) was there in just a couple of minutes to take our order. The kitchen was slow to get our food out for not being very busy. It was all good, hot and tasty. We typically wouldn't drive to Exit 7 but would return if we are in the area, but we are probably done with Exit 63 location.“

“We have Brunch this morning in there is was fabulous . The restaurant from desks was amazing and the Waiter Cody is a sweetheart. He makes you feel at home. My favorite is the fruits and Lobsters and Jumbo Shrimp and Beefsteak. The French pastries are delicious the bread pudding and French toast yummy. Smoked salmon with cream cheese yummy!!! The place is so elegant. Roast beef and Lamb ribs and pork ribs. Omelette! Egg Benedict and Cheese . !!! Best thing in Bristol Thank you Mr Cody best waiter ever ❤❤💕💕“

“Very laid back, took my husband to eat here for his first time. Loved it. Took home way more food than we should have though, the portions are huge!! Kid friendly, and though we didn’t sit at the bar- the bartender was awesome. We had also gotten there a bit late, they close at 11, and our food had gotten to the table at 11:01. So he let us sit and eat, everyone (ourselves included)watched a wrestling match on the TV. Great staff, great atmosphere, great time. We will definitely be back!!“

“Went to watch my spurs lose tonight. I hardly ever go out and do anything. The waiters and bartenders are chill like everybody else. Just relax. Never heard of anybody starving to death waiting ten minutes on food.its not fast food. Anyway, I'll be back every Saturday. Don't like my reviews let me know. I back this place.“
