“Our server was good, very polite. It was VERY LOUD in the back. I heard an entire conversation about what someone's job is/should be. "People in hell want ice water" was one comment, "I don't really care" another, and it went on!!! Kinda ruined the atmosphere for me? because the restaurant was quiet EXCEPT...“

“10 out of 10 recommend.... Was in the area & looked up breakfast spots, this was the 1st one to come up; the reviews were great & food looked good, so we stopped. Did not disappoint! The customer service was awesome (& I'm VERY big on customer service-it makes or breaks you) one of the owners walked around to make sure everything was good and no one needed anything! The food was cooked when ordered but still came out fast and was very good. My meat omelet was bomb(added Spinach & onions). The pancakes were very nice and fluffy. All was cooked very well. They were out of coffee but didn't hesitate to make more & let us know when it was ready. The place is on the smaller side but seating wasn't an issue. The were busy but handled it very well and didn't seem like the wait was long for anyone. If in the area again would definitely stop in to try more options (because that fish looked so good)!“

“Everything on my plate was 10 stars ⭐️ out of 5. Pancakes were clouds, hash browns were top tier, sausage was good, eggs were great. Mimosa? 1/2 price and were delicious! Not too much juice so not as sweet as other places but def enough champagne! I don’t think you’ll regret it. A friend had an omelette and another friend had the salmon sandwich/biscuit(?). Everyone was pleased. You won’t regret this visit. ☀️☀️☀️ Also ask for Ariana’s table!!“

“My granddaughter and a few couples went to this Waffle House after a Valentines Dance on 2-5-2023. The waiter was rude and got up in their faces. They waited 30 minutes and what was delivered was appalling. Her date ordered a waffle and all he got was a drink with debri in it and it was dirty. And, when waitress handed it to him, she got up in his face and said here's your order. I don't know who the manager is but he should be fired. There is no reason to treat people like this.“

“I had an excellent experience at the Southern breakfast kitchen. My husband and I decided to attend their grand opening. My understanding is that they opened at the top of the year, but this event served as an opportunity to introduce this new black owned business to the Bartlett community. The location is quite convenient (by Kroger on Kirby Whitten). We had ample parking selections, and we were seated once we got in. We were greeted by every server, all seemed friendly and ready to serve.

Inside, the atmosphere gives a family feel. There was a mix of couples in attendance, primarily skewing 40’s-50’s. My husband and I greatly appreciated the live jazz music, which added more upscale vibe to the overall experience. I also absolutely love that they had both a coffee bar and a standard bar. We did not try the hibachi, but that option was available as well.

It took about 30 minutes for us to receive our food and about 15 minutes for us to receive our drinks. we had the mango and orange mimosas and both were good (though I highly recommend the mango). We both got the omelettes (veggie and veggie + ham). It was an ample amount of food. I couldn’t even eat much of the hash browns because I was so full! For the price, we were both quite satisfied!

Our server was attentive and consistently checked on us. Our water classes were never empty. I appreciate this type of service.

We both agreed that we would be back, probably with family. I am hoping that this will become a staple in the Bartlett community.“

“Our waiter was spot on and took our orders in style. Plus,the restaurant has an ADA stall, that has a sink for the disabled folks, in the stall. Silly to discuss when reviewing the food and atmosphere, but this IHOP is probably the nicest one we've ever eaten in. Thank you

Was looking thorough the reviews and I read yours, and noted the comments about your wife and cleaniness. THe next comment is for her:

I came by one afternoon and the place wasn't serving customers. The waitress told me to come back in a coupole of hours. A local business was steam cleaning the stove and hood area !!!

This location and the Arlington location on 64 are the Stars of Memphis Waffle House World. The buidings seem to have a few more inches in seating room that the older Waffle House buidings. As for the staff .... At both locations, the staff has been fantstic.

And the food, pure, 100% unadultrated Waffle House.

As for the 5 stars above, this is relative and it applies to where I'm and similiar establishments. The staff greeted me, the buiding was clean at the time, the cook was a cookin' ..... , the staff was talking among themselves and seemed to be having a getting along. All this added up to a good atmosphere to sit back and drink a cup of coffee and watch the world go by a for a few minutes.“

“I recently had lunch at IHOP, and it was a fantastic experience! The burgers were exquisite, with juicy meat that made every bite delightful. The chicken sandwiches were absolutely fire, bursting with flavor. Of course, I couldn't resist the pancakes, which were delicious and perfectly fluffy. Overall, IHOP is a great spot for a satisfying lunch that hits the spot every time! ????“

“Came late night around 330 to get food and VICTORIA (A.A. female with really bad red weave) decided to get rude, yell and cuss at me as well as slam the togo window in my face, saying "I said what I said" and walked away talking trash. The younger cook, didn't catch his name, came to the window and although frustrated calmly took my order and began cooking it. The younger girl that was there with Victoria was very polite and trying her best to get her job done efficiently. The cook didn't hesitate to cook my order and EVERYTHING was made correctly! Very enjoyable meal! That cook DEFINITELY needs a raise! When I paid for my order ($55 and change, paid $80) I told the cook that the remainder of the change was for him. I really appreciated the fact he took care of the customer no matter the reaction from a waitress that didn't want to work. When I was talking to him VICTORIA was at the dish pit yelling and talking trash while just repeating "Blah blah blah" with her nasty bumpy tongue hanging out of her mouth of yellow teeth calling me out of my name. I have been in the food industry for over 18 years and i would NEVER treat anyone or any customer like Victoria did. I will be speaking to management and corporate about my experience there tonight and I will be pursuing getting VICTORIA FIRED. That was just completely unacceptable! Major kudos to the cook and the other server though, regardless of how tired, frustrated or overwhelmed they were, they kept cool and made sure everything got handled.“
