“We loved the Toasted Yolk Cafe! We came in on a busy Sunday morning with a large party, mostly kids, and they were more than accommodating. We were seated quickly with excellent service and extra patience for our kids only table! Not to mention the food!!! Our food was excellent. I would highly recommend The Toasted Yolk Cafe!“

“The staff was friendly and professional, and once we were seated, our food came out quickly, which was great. One item from my order never arrived, and they were also out of the specialty drink I ordered, but I understand that things happen. Neither of those issues was my biggest concern.

The major issue was the wait and the seating process. We waited over an hour for a table, yet from the time we arrived until we left nearly three hours later, there were consistently about 10–13 empty tables.

I asked about the empty tables and was told they were going to be filled. However, I continued to watch customers wait for at least an hour while those tables remained empty. I also watched people walk out because they did not want to continue waiting. The long wait also caused significant congestion around the entrance.

What made this even more confusing was that the person who appeared to be the manager, based on her shirt, was the individual seating customers. So it was difficult to understand why so many tables remained unused for such a long period of time.

I completely understand waiting when a restaurant is full. However, waiting over an hour while 10–13 tables remain empty is completely different. This seemed less like a customer-service issue with the staff and more like a seating, staffing, or management issue.

The employees we encountered were pleasant, and the food we received was served quickly. Unfortunately, the seating process made what could have been a very good experience unnecessarily frustrating—and the restaurant appeared to be losing customers and revenue in the process.“

“My granddaughter and a few couples went to this Waffle House after a Valentines Dance on 2-5-2023. The waiter was rude and got up in their faces. They waited 30 minutes and what was delivered was appalling. Her date ordered a waffle and all he got was a drink with debri in it and it was dirty. And, when waitress handed it to him, she got up in his face and said here's your order. I don't know who the manager is but he should be fired. There is no reason to treat people like this.“

“We are in town from Oklahoma and there were not too many breakfast places on the map. MEMPHIS!!! You guys are sleeping on this place! We brought our three teenage girls to eat before going to Graceland and it was amazing! They had specialty coffee and an awesome menus to pick from. The food was hot coming out and our waitress was awesome. I’m so glad I didn’t read the reviews before we got here because everything was perfect! Thank you LaTera!“

“10/10 absolutely delicious food and coffee! Before visiting Memphis, I researched great breakfast places and so glad we visited Brother Junipers. We will certainly be back! The cinnamon pancakes are delicious! We had veggie omelet, home fries, B&G, steak & eggs, espresso and hazelnut latte! So good! Also, EXCELLENT customer service! Worth the wait!“

“GREAT PRICES! For the price it’s hard to complain the diner had a great atmosphere but it was super busy and bc of this there was a big back up on the stove so we were advised when ordering to get things that didn’t need to be on the grill if we wanted to eat anytime soon. We got the breakfast sandwich and grits bowl still good value and tasted good but will def be back to try some other dishes.“

“The place was truly hopping on this Saturday morning, Feb. 14. All waitresses were clearly working their hardest to keep customers happy and the food delivered in s timely manner.
I left for the bathroom thinking it would be at least 10 min before our food would be ready. According to my hubby, it came just after I departed. A few minutes after I returned, the manager handed me a nice hot replacement plate of food. How thoughtful!
I had fresh fruit crepes with eggs, bacon, &hash browns, my husband the sirloin tip breakfast combo. I had this same choice at another Ihop where the fresh fruit was a few pieces of strawberries. This time it had blueberries and strawberries in plentiful supply.“

“First visit to the area came up on this place and what a find! Place was packed, sat up at the counter and greeted by Alex and Brittany both provided wonderful service throughout. Food delicious, large portions. First time ever eating plain pancakes without butter/syrup they were that good! And tasty scrambled eggs. An extra special thank you to Ms Alex helped us FL folks, providing us all the great ins and outs of the area. Highly recommend stopping by even for a quick morning beverage!“

“This is my primary Waffle House I go to. Everyone always nice and speak regardless if they are serving you.
I mainly go early afternoon and enjoy my meal. Will get to go on Saturday and love to see the busy pace of the cooks at the grill
