We had told our server that we are vegetarians and to ensure there is no meat, still the served us beef.

“Just ate there today for the first time! The young man who took my order brought it ti me in my car because I didn’t have my chair and I am temporarily handicapped. The staff was so no e! The food was GOOOOOOODDDD! Fresh and hot and more than I could eat in one meal! Definitely will go back!”

“Contrary to some surprisingly negative reviews, I do like this place very much. I’m a lifelong Pennsylvanian and my fiancée is a lifelong Tennesseean. We were in town visiting her family this week as we both live up north now. The burgers were excellent, the service was acceptable, place was clean, prices were reasonable. I’ll be back when we come back to visit family again. I’m a fan of this place!”

“They created my 31st birthday cake and it was absolutely amazing! Not only did it look beautiful, but it was also incredibly delicious. I can be pretty picky about flavor and texture, but they completely nailed it. I recently moved to Knoxville and was hoping to find a bakery that I could truly love and keep coming back to, and this experience made that happen. The whole process from ordering the cake to picking it up and finally tasting it was smooth and wonderful. My whole family loved it, I will definitely be ordering future cakes from them!”

“Quite frankly & straight to the point, for years I only went to another local Knoxville sushi spot that had half price sushi nights. Then my husband introduced me to Tangerine & it's the only place I happily go to & pay full price. The employees are the nicest ever! The food is great! The hot dishes are always piping hot & the sushi is great! We go at least once a month, if not more often. Presentation is always on point.”

“We used to go to the Corryton location regularly until it closed. I went to the store in Halls tonight, and the sandwiches were as good as ever. Prices have pretty much remained the same. Great food!”

“Passing through from TX to NC and stopped here based on reviews. Outstanding food! Chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked- not chewy or stringy like some places, but flavorful and tender. Chicken and dumplings so good like grandma makes. Mashed potatoes are real, fried okra is crisp, all fresh and homemade. Best meal we have had on the trip so far! Any future trip north will now include a stop at Sonny’s!”

“Clinton.Tn Went though the drive thru and bought brisket dinner and a brisket sandwich. The brisket was like wallet leather dry and the fries were stale and cold I took it inside and the crew today was so respectful and thoughtful. They apologized and made fresh fries and the just had fresh brisket come out. I will def. Retired because of the customer service I experienced. However, ensuring food meets quality before being served should be more focused on.”
