“We're traveling on the road and we found this restaurant just by accident. And it was a lucky find. The atmosphere was beautiful decor and furniture is beautiful. The service was friendly the food came very fast. Proportions were huge, great complimentary salsa and chips. And they had lots of vegetarian items. And it was extremely affordable. So much so that I was shocked when my check came. This enabled me to leave a pretty decent tip. You looking for a good Mexican restaurant in the area this is where you need to go.”

“Contrary to some surprisingly negative reviews, I do like this place very much. I’m a lifelong Pennsylvanian and my fiancée is a lifelong Tennesseean. We were in town visiting her family this week as we both live up north now. The burgers were excellent, the service was acceptable, place was clean, prices were reasonable. I’ll be back when we come back to visit family again. I’m a fan of this place!”

“They created my 31st birthday cake and it was absolutely amazing! Not only did it look beautiful, but it was also incredibly delicious. I can be pretty picky about flavor and texture, but they completely nailed it. I recently moved to Knoxville and was hoping to find a bakery that I could truly love and keep coming back to, and this experience made that happen. The whole process from ordering the cake to picking it up and finally tasting it was smooth and wonderful. My whole family loved it, I will definitely be ordering future cakes from them!”

“Quite frankly & straight to the point, for years I only went to another local Knoxville sushi spot that had half price sushi nights. Then my husband introduced me to Tangerine & it's the only place I happily go to & pay full price. The employees are the nicest ever! The food is great! The hot dishes are always piping hot & the sushi is great! We go at least once a month, if not more often. Presentation is always on point.”

“Pulling into Thirty-Three Diner in Maynardville, Tennessee, you immediately step into the quintessential East Tennessee diner vibe. The owner has been there for 38 years, and that depth of experience is evident in every bite.
The hamburger steak, paired with rich, homemade brown gravy rather than grilled onions, is fantastic. Sides like the fried okra, coleslaw, and pinto beans are excellent choices, and the cornbread is a must.
Being there felt like eating at my great grandmother's table from when I was a kid; it's simply top shelf.
A HUGE standout experience was the exceptional service: despite the diner being down a fryer, an employee, and receiving news of a family member's passing that morning, the staff provided some of the best service anywhere. True dedication. There love for each other and their families was felt.
It's worth the 30 minutes off 75 or if you're in or passing through Knoxville, and a planned stop is definitely on the agenda for me when I amnin that necknof the woodsin May.
10/10 would reccomend.”

“The service was prompt and friendly, the portions (I ordered a bowl) were generous, but to me the tastes were bland. Having eaten at many Mediterranean restaurants elsewhere, I expected something a bit more lively, but this wasn't it. I suspect the liveliness has been tuned down to accommodate Knoxville taste buds - I've noticed Knoxville versions of almost everything other than a hamburger are generally blander than the same version elsewhere. The restaurant was clean and tidy, but spare.”
