The service was prompt and friendly, the portions (I ordered a bowl) were generous, but to me the tastes were bland. Having eaten at many Mediterranean restaurants elsewhere, I expected something a bit more lively, but this wasn't it. I suspect the liveliness has been tuned down to accommodate Knoxville taste buds - I've noticed Knoxville versions of almost everything other than a hamburger are generally blander than the same version elsewhere. However, during the lunch rush, the line can be backed up to the door due to being understaffed. Despite the wait, the effort from staff like Brittany is obvious, with one person running the entire show and hustling hard to get orders exactly right. The service and food are worth coming back for, making it a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner with plenty of healthy options.
