“We catered Stroud’s for 40 people yesterday for my grandmother’s funeral reception and I couldn’t recommend them more. The food was delicious! We had just enough to make a few sandwiches for tomorrow. The banana pudding is one of the best in town & the potato salad was delicious. They were friendly, communicative, on time, and professional. Highly recommend Stroud’s!!!“

“Really good BBQ. We typically get the family pack and a half rack of ribs. That feeds 2-3 adults plus our 2 boys with enough left over for about another sandwich or 2. Our 13 year old eats the fried ocra like it's candy. I usually ask for extra BBQ sauce as I like a lot on my sandwich and it usually feels like they have it rationed out and are confusingly reluctant to part with more but usually relent.“

“I got the smoked bologna sandwich and the pulled pork plate. The bologna sandwich was awesome. The pulled pork plate was good. The only drawbacks were the slaw and the cornbread (called litebread on the menu). The slaw was average at best. The cornbread was tasty but dry.“

“New to TN and first time at Dickey's BBQ Pit in Brentwood. Had excellent service today (6/18/25). Staff was friendly and helpful and food was very tasty. We'll be back when we're in the area.“

“Quick steak dinner on a Sunday evening. Steak was of medium quality and over cooked for medium rare request. Nice bread and salad with a meal. Booth seats have lumpy springs and need replacing, very uncomfortable so ask for a table. Server was excellent and checked in several times. Overall I’d recommend for a reasonably priced steak dinner.“
