“My family and I enjoyed a great lunch today! The food was delicious and the menu is large with many choices. My husband got the catfish and said it was delicious and the hush puppies were the best he has ever eaten! My son got a full rack of ribs and they fell off the bone! I had the smash burger and it was great, we can’t wait to go back and try the BBQ!“

“Upon walking in the door, I was welcomed by a very sweet lady. I ordered the catfish, the meal came with white beans, cole slaw, hush puppies and really good homemade tarter sauce. I had read the reviews so I knew I needed to save room for a fried pie. So I boxed up half of my meal and now back to that fried pie, I ordered the coconut!!! It had chocolate drizzle and a dusting of powdered sugar with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Wow, it was so good!!! Everything was fresh and really good. I will definitely be going back!!! Check them out, you definitely be glad you did!!! Great Service and Great Food!!!“

“We have ate at Granny's many times. We have taken family there to eat when they come to visit. We always warn, you never know what your going to get, so just flow with it. My husband and I have ordered to go meals a few times. We find it to be hit or miss...seems it is super fantastic or super bad. Ordered the potato salad; which previously had enjoyed, got a soupy raw potatoe mess, this happened several times in a row and I just stopped ordering it. The hash browns are always raw; I don't order them, but on the other hand their home fries are usually excellent. I once ordered a double order of biscuits and gravy....2 biscuits with a small cup of gravy that won't even cover 1 biscuit....isn't that a regular order? You guessed it..... I just don't order it any more. There are lots of things we just stopped ordering and are hoping to find that sweet spot we know will be consistently good. Most of their food is exceptional. I want so badly to love Granny's and support a local business. This type of restaurant is where my heart is. I was raised working, cooking, cleaning and serving in restaurants like Grannys, I love when the food i eat reminds me of my Mom's or my own cooking. After so many years I have found myself not thinking about going there as much, but we will continue to because when it's good......it's really good!!!!!“

“Spent a week in Nashville. Ate at some great restaurants, even the very expensive Jack Daniels restaurant in Opryland hotel. This place topped them all. Very reasonably priced. Steak was the best I had all week. Wish I had found it earlier I. The week. A definite Re-Do nextime.“

“Place was virtually empty, but we waited 20mins before chasing - and only then receiving service. The food was well worth it! Some of our order was missing, things came at the wrong time and once more, we waited forever. The food was superb and abundant and we will definitely return, with the strong hope staff issues will have been sorted by then.“

“In my opinion, it's the best BBQ location in Nashville! The smoked sausage is the best I've ever had. Potato salad is amazing as well. You can go to the Broadway location if you want to but this one is the better of the two. Highly recommend!“

“My only complaint is that there’s not a closer location relative to where I live in Nashville. I love this concept and they surely did not disappoint. It was a very friendly, clean establishment and the chicken salad is absolutely excellent. I went with the melt with the “southern” style chicken salad, which was basically with eggs and sweet pickles. Yum. I can’t wait to make the hike again for their pimento cheese!“
