The pulled pork plate with Carolina vinegar BBQ sauce, the brown sugar baked beans, the potato salad, and the even the cornbread has a unique and amazing taste and texture..all absolutely delicious. “We used the drive through, so I can't comment on the atmosphere. The first tine we came there was a bubbly friendly woman working the window. The food was good, especially the wings and banana pudding.

When we went back on a Sunday or Monday to get more wings, we found out they don't have wings except Wed to Sat?!?!?! I was flabbergasted. No wings. So we had a turkey plate and pork plate and those were good. But they weren't wings. Sigh.“

No intended disrespect to this customer. Having worked in the restaurant industry for more than 30 years, the restaurants are there to make some profits as well. The cost of giving people a “living wage” and the cost of the covid-related supply chain issues have given owners two options, raise prices and wages or be forced out of business. A well run restaurant always tried for about 30-35% food cost and about. 25% cost of labor. That left in the neighborhood of 40% to pay everything else like rent, utilities, insurance and all the other monthly bills plus all the taxes that continually rise. If you own a building with a business in it the taxes went up tremendously after everything had been shut down by covid. At the grocery store the prices of most meats have almost doubled, other prices people think have stayed the same, the packages have shrunk. We ate at this particular restaurant the commenter was rating. I ordered what was supposed to be a meal for one person with two sides. I at about 2/3 of it and had to give up. My wife couldn’t finish her regular plate with two sides. Was the price high, yes, but the food was great.“

“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload“

“Overall, pretty good especially for airport food. We stopped by for breakfast during a layover and got an order of sausage, an order of bacon, and a biscuit. The sausage came with two patties and the bacon with about five pieces, and they weren’t paper thin. The sausage had a great flavor and wasn’t dry, nor was the biscuit. It looks clean and there’s a few good seats around the counter.

For our order, it cost $13.75. Not bad in the realm of airport food, especially because the food exceeded our expectations.“

“That chorizo egg and cheese burrito was so good. Ordered one at like 430am and it was perfectly cooked. Didn't know a tortilla could be so perfectly golden brown! The burrito fold wasn't perfect but it didn't matter with how good it was specially with the hot sauce!“

“I ordered 17 meals for my employees last night. It was a good size order. First, the food. From the Chicken Parm, Garlic Chicken, Chicken Fingers, to the various steaks and Salmon, the food was delicious. But, many dishes were not warm. There were dishes completed when I got there and it took another 20 minutes to complete the rest of the order. Then I had to drive 15 minutes. I had 3 people order Chicken Parm, only one person got theirs. One ended up with Garlic Chicken and the other a Renegade Steak. They included tickets in bulk with what people ordered. I would suggest putting those tickets on the corresponding meals. However, back to the food. All meat temperatures were dead on and the Steakhouse Mac and Cheese was so creamy and tasty. And to those who helped prepare the meal, I thank you. I would definitely recommend the Longhorn Steakhouse in Murfreesboro Pike.“
