“I've been wanting to try Fuji for a long time and tonight I went there for my birthday and I was impressed by the courteous and polite staff which was a good sign. I had seen the menu as had my girlfriend so we both knew what we wanted so we gave the waitperson, I don't know his name but he did the little bow with folded hands after taking our order which came very quickly I might add. I had a drink called Magic Peach which was very tasty and very strong, the Spring Roll which were good sized crunchy and delicious, the Veggie Gyozyas which were fried to perfection and yummy and lastly the Avocado Roll from the Classic Menu also as good as any I've had. So all in all it was great way to spend my birthday eve, I give Fuji 5 stars! I look forward to my next visit!“

“We were in Johnson City a few weeks ago and had the foresight to make reservations at Timber! Now we can’t get the place out of our heads. Blame the butternut squash soup. It’s the kind of bowl that resets your compass. It was robust, earthy, and layered. One spoonful and I knew I was ruined for other soups. We live far away; that’s the tragedy. This soup still lives rent-free in my head.

We ran the table with small, medium, and one large plate. Each was built by someone who respects ingredients, heat, time, and seasoning. The textures snapped together like a well-built puzzle. The room itself was large, but shoulder-to-shoulder and loud, and that’s fine by me. I didn’t want a library. I wanted a place where the staff and kitchen worked like they meant it.

The drinks weren’t decoration; they pulled their own weight. The bar knew its business. We told them what we liked, and they steered with confidence. The service had that rare combination of ease and intent: plates landed hot, nobody explained the obvious, and nobody disappeared. Exactly what a restaurant should strive for.

We left full, and then spent the next few weeks lamenting a simple fact: we may never have a bowl of butternut squash soup this good again, not without a plane ticket.

If you’re anywhere near Johnson City, go. Book a table. Let the kitchen talk. That soup will follow you home.“

“Came today for a late breakfast. Ordered the Hash Bowl and my fiance had the biscuits and gravy and a side of candied bacon.
His food was good. Not great. Mine on the other hand, I had to send back. Was room temperature and crudely thrown together. Another was promptly brought out. You can tell the ingredients don't touch a pan, it's just thrown together like a child might do. It was edible but not something I would recommend. Also....to charge almost $11 for this and it to have the presentation it is does is just bad business.
They didn't provide complimentary snickers oodles biscuits though, due to the long wait on our food.
Might go again and try a biscuit dish.

“Well now, I reckon I oughta begin by sayin’ that when a man’s been drivin’ clear across this grand nation with three rambunctious young’uns in the back hollerin’ over who touched whose elbow, and a wife growlin’ about the gas station beans in Arkansas, a good taco can feel like salvation in tortilla form. That’s precisely the brand of miracle we found at a little joint by the name of White Duck Taco Shop.

Now don’t let the name fool you — ain’t no duck with an apron waddlin’ around servin’ you, though I admit I wouldn’t’ve minded that one bit. What is there is a menu that reads like a travelogue written by a hungry pirate. Chicken tikka masala tacos? Shrimp po’boy? Steak-and-cheese that’d make a Philly boy cry into his soft pretzel? Lord have mercy, even the duck taco had me questionin’ the moral uprightness of poultry.

My wife, who has developed a sort of holy reverence for legumes, declared — between bites and narrowed eyes — that the beans were transcendent. And let me tell you, when a woman uses that word for food, you better believe angels are somewhere singin’.

It’s the kind of place where kids get quiet — not from threat or bribe — but from sheer chew-induced bliss. A rare and blessed silence. For that alone, I’d’ve given ‘em a medal.

So if you find yourself somewhere between Where-the-Hell-Are-We and the Eastern Seaboard, do yourself the decency of stopping at White Duck Taco. It’s a fine respite for the weary traveler, the picky child, and the wife who’s done enough car parenting to deserve beans that move the soul.“

“I never review restaurants, but the sushi man at this place is the best in 100 miles of here. The sushi lunch special with miso soup is incredible for $15 given the quality. Around here, oversized rolls that become mush in your mouth as you try to chew them down, and misproportioned ones with the ingredient ratio all out of wack are the standard. Nobody knows a sushi roll from a hole in the ground. If you're tired of the mountain of bunk sushi in the Tri Cities, give this dude a chance. You won't be disappointed. He's genuinely a master.“

“We LOVE this restaurant. We haven’t found better Tex-Mex. We frequently come here multiple times per week. The food is unmatched. The location is great. The staff are always super friendly and welcoming. The salsa bar is clutch. The queso and guacamole is awesome. They have indoor and outdoor seating, so we sometimes bring our dogs. And they have a fantastic rewards system through the app that we use to build points and get discounts or free items. They also have a (not so) secret menu to amp up your meal. Try a bowl with their delicious chip salt added on top. Love, love, love it!“

“We ordered a blooming onion and it was undercooked. The server, Caleb, told the manager and he cooked a new one perfectly for us. We also had a sirloin and half a rack of ribs with a sweet potato, a wedge salad, and kookaburra chicken wings. All of the food was delicious.“

They were fast to react with the medical kit they had and attended the lady until medical staff was able to get there! I was very impressed with the care and urgency they showed!“

“The food was okay. Bacon was crisp, and eggs were done but barely warm. I like my hash browns a little more crisp than what they were. I finished my meal before my toast came out. The server was bot at fault, but the kitchen was. It wasnt so bad that inwont go back again but the quality has gone downhill since i was last there. “It is fast food so as far as fast food goes it is a good place to eat. Most people know about Arby's and their selection. I did have an issue with the order and when I called and spoke with them they were happy to oblige and I returned and got everything fixed fairly quickly.“
