“Purchased Chicken ranch on white, the bread was homemade, light & very tasty. All ingredients were fresh. The whole sandwich is for a hungry appetite. The potato salad is very yummy, the fresh squeezed lemonade topped off the whole meal. Staff was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is spacious with a gallery of hometown photos. “I’ve only gotten the Philly here and that’s for a reason. The Philly at Lenny’s is the BEST in Knoxville. I have tried so many but you can’t beat Lenny’s. Definitely my new favorite sub shop. “This restaurant is the bomb diggity! The first thing I noticed was not the menu but how clean the restaurant is kept and a 100 Health Score. I have had every variety of chicken salad here and my nephew who is with me loves the place also. I eat here at least twice weekly. The employees here are very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. If you like Chicken Salad this is the place you’ll love to come to.“

“The Hardin Valley store has some really great people working there! There was a miscommunication about which sandwich I wanted and it was my fault for not checking before we left, but when I called them I was told to just bring it back down and they would make the correct sandwich. All of them were friendly and quick. My son loved the pizza meatball sub. But the large was TOO big for him. I think their Italian sub is phenomenal with the pepper sauce added to it. A large is definitely TWO meals for me! And you can never go wrong with the Freestyle machine in the dinning room, they're my favorite machines for drinks with MORE than just soda and tea.

“Cheap pre-cooked food, ideal for a quick lunch if what you need is to get some carbs to hold you until dinner. The food it self is ok for the price you pay.There are mainly 2 people running the place, a very polite welcoming and nice middle aged man - I believe Ray him self, always accommodating and caring, and then ugh an angry rude middle aged woman. I have to say whenever she is not there the day seem brighter.She snaps, scoffs and gives these angry looks. What is her issue? Do other people get these treatment from her is it my middle eastern looks and amazing accent that bothers her?I would also suggest to add some fresh greenery to your options, prepackaged salads etc but mainly fix the attitude.“

Apparently another coworker called in sick, but not sure why a manager or someone else didn’t come in to help him out. Watching customers ahead of me use coupons I looked online and discovered a good deal. The clerk said I needed to order and pay online to get the deal. But he would make my sandwiches before I placed the order, to save time for both of us. That's good customer service.“

“I went inside to eat and even though I was the only customer inside I stood there for almost 10 mins while i watched 7 employees look at me and just ignore me. I asked if I needed to go through the drive thru to get service and the girl said no someone will be with you soon. I watched 6 cars go through the drive thru that came up after I had already been standing there. Complete disregard for customer service. That alone makes me not want to eat there again. “This is a good store in the way that the employees are very dedicated. Every person I've had serve me here has been nothing but courteous and kind. However, it's obvious they're being overworked with shifts being under-staffed. The employees are keeping such a positive attitude and always being helpful while they're having to serve these long lines of customers, in a process that needs two people minimum to be time effective. “They didn't have ice because it was stuck in the machine because it wasn't cool enough in the restaurant to keep the ice from melting in the machine. I told them I wanted a refund for the drink I paid for because most people prefer ice in their drinks.“

“This is one of the cleanest subways in south Knox. They are a bit under staffed but seems to be the normal thing these days everywhere. Each worker ,works their bottoms off . I think if the company would keep the stores equipment updated more ..it'd prob help and if the company it's self would hire people and send them to stores that's only got 2 or 3 workers that'd help also . I love the flavor of the new meat they have,everything seems stocked well everytime im there. Those workers get the job done even tho I've seem them treated very poorly by customers. It's like some customers seem to.forget these are people.also, so I try to keep that in my mind when im anywhere. These same 2 woman. Are ALWAYS here no matter the time of day . So just be understanding when going In places these days after covid ...besides its not a Ruth Chris steak house its SUBWAY people ..lol

“I give this subway a 5/5 out of all the ones I’ve been to. I especially give props to my man Mike behind the counter for mainly two reasons:

#1- If I ask for extra spinach, he puts extra on it. Most subways seem frugal with it, not sure why. You get your moneys worth because you get exactly what you put on the ticket.

#2- You get more value believe it or not, because Mike brings a comedy show with the order. Nobody likes the daily rat race, and an employee’s mood can radiate to a customer. Here, the employees are having fun, cracking jokes, and just making the most of the time they’re there. I’ve never left in a bad mood, and I usually have a couple jokes to crack to the family while we eat dinner.
