Chicken Shops near Madison, TN

“Stopped by Pollo Campero on Gallatin Pike in Madison a couple of days ago and left impressed. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, the sides complemented the meal well, and the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. The team made sure everything was right. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu.“

“This is one of my favorite places to stop for lunch. They are quick, its fresh and great service 90% of the time. Went today and everything was fantastic. Loaded me up with hot sauce and honey sauce without me even asking for anything. Fantastic. 5 stars.“

“I was in the Nashville location on 1/28 during my visit to the area. It was packed but everything moved quickly, efficiently and the staff was so very friendly to everyone. That didn’t stop just at the start but all throughout our time there. The lady helping us (her name was Isis, I believe) even followed back up with us on something. Her and the manager went above and beyond to take care of us on something we didn’t even ask them to. Btw, nothing happened, they were just out of something, it came back in and they took care of us. A measure most would not do but she found us and made sure to take care. Now THAT is friendly customer service! The food is so amazing, y’all. This is going to be my new joint for every single visit to Nashville from now on. Hot dayum!!“

“Amazing food, crew was friendly. Kinda wish I lived in Nashville so I could eat here more often.“

“SOOO GOOD! best hot chicken in the world. I despise coleslaw but something about Hattie b’s makes it good!“

“I'm a retired chef and I know about good food. Place is A-1 and I would give the food 2 thumbs 👍.“

“Food and service were amazing! We will definitely be back! (Insert chef’s kiss)“

“Words can’t even begin to describe how I feel about this place. This is where I want to get married. This is where I want to die. I’m naming my firstborn after this chicken. What should you get? Doesn’t matter. You couldn’t go wrong if you tried. The chicken (both fried and grilled) is a miracle, but you MUST get it as a meal. They load you up with so many herbs you see the gates of Heaven itself. The laab gai is the best thing I’ve ever eaten, and I would use all three wishes (if I was granted any) to make it a permanent fixture on their meal. Whoever’s back there in the kitchen, call me. I got a spot in my bed for you.“

“This is the spot for fried chicken/seafood in Nashville. Ordered the chicken tenders and waffle ‘hella’ hot with extra pickles, and this was a perfect spice for me; boyfriend ordered catfish and shrimp ‘hot’, which made him sweat, an “enjoyable” level of spice he confirmed (note: it doesn’t take much to him sweat when it comes to spice). Service is fantastic and the atmosphere is just how we like it, highly recommend! 🐓 Btw you could easily split the servings between two but our spice necessitates separate orders. Enjoy!“

“Y’ALL cook your good tails OFF ….. like wtf …I’m am WEAK with fullness. I had the lamp, Mac and cheese, fried plantains, jerk chicken, rice and peas, cabbage and shrimp …. YUP ima a fat tail and I ate it ALL !!!!! And the Sorrel was amazing …. Geeeez why would you Cook like this?!. I love y’all.“

“The food is delicious. My second time trying this company out.“

“I grew up going to a different location, but the same Cinco De Mayo! This location is super convenient being so close to downtown, and every location is consistent, serving quality food and providing friendly and professional service! Cinco De Mayo will always have a special place in my heart! No other Mexican restaurant can compare!“

“Amazing experience food is excellent and customer service is great and restaurant is clean everything amazing 😻 😍👍“

“Alyssa F. is a wonderful person at Slim Chickens in Hendersonville, TN. I had a problem with the taste of the coleslaw with an order that was picked up. I called about it and she immediately tasted the coleslaw that morning and agreed. She offered a free meal, and made sure that the coleslaw was ok, by letting me taste it when I came to pick up my free order, it was fine, and I didn't have to wait long. She should be either promoted or compensated for being so polite and making me want to go back to Slim Chickens for the delicious tenders and coleslaw. Thank you, Bob Stephens“

“My fiance and I have been talking about this place for years now on our way home to STL area I got the pleasure of trying this deliciousness!!! Run y'all don't walk!!! Was some of the best chicken I've ever had.... like top three in my 36 years and my family is from Kentucky! Don't sleep on this place. please come to STL ❤️“

“I was very impressed by the taste and quantity of food. Very flavorful and unique but you’re best to get it for takeout or delivery. Much like the neighborhood, the restaurant is kinda dirty and unkept. Sticky tables, dirty windows and floors, handprints, and overall just a gross place to try to enjoy your meal in.“

“The best jumbo chicken wings! Great atmosphere and a big Thank you to Julie for my new favorite drink! We will definitely be back 😊“

“We had chick-fil-a at our wedding and they exceeded our expectations!“

“My favorite hot chicken restaurant by far. Always consistent at each location I’ve been to.“

“Hattie B's never disappoints. Their chicken is always cooked to perfection. I'm always amazed at how juicy this chicken is, yet crispy on the outside. I recommend the medium for all around flavor, but still a spicy kick. The hotter you go, the less enjoyable it is, but you do you.“

“The chicken was tender and juicy. The dip was absolutely delectable and flavorful. We took the basic box and the portions were enough for 2 people per box. Spacious seating area upstairs with vibing decor, but could be better with a little less noise.“

“If you’re looking for REALLY good fried chicken, you have to try this place! 🍗🔥 Everything was absolutely delicious — the chicken was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and the seasoning was on point. The portions were generous, the food was hot and fresh, and the service was amazing. You can tell they actually care about the quality of their food and their customers. This is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves fried chicken“

“Great service and staff! I always love this place.“

“Great food overall good service for“

“I'll always give Chick-fil-A my business and 5 stars; however, this particular location in Goodlettsville was THE slowest I had ever visited. This is not a fault of the staff but location. You have 2 lanes, great staff greeting with smiles and taking or confirming your order, then the 2 lanes merge into one after giving your order and the line just creeps. Even if this was a franchise owner for that location, that choice disrupts the flow of expectations Chick-fil-A delivers. Great food, great staff as always experienced just a one-star fail for me because of the congestion of traffic.“

“SOOO GOOD! best hot chicken in the world. I despise coleslaw but something about Hattie b’s makes it good!“

“Chicken Salad Chick has great food and so many different chicken salad choices. I like the original chicken salad sandwich with pimento cheese scoop and it’s delicious. Today I tried the bbq chicken salad scoop and I like it even more than the original!!! The store is very clean as well with very welcoming staff. My husband ate this as well today for the first time and he really enjoyed it too! Thank you!“

“This was my very first time ordering DoorDash from China Wok, and if I could give them 1,000 starts for the freshness and great taste I would!! So I'm giving them 1,000 stars!!!! My food was so hot when it arrived I was so amazed and pleased! I work from home so I didn't have time to go out and get lunch! Shout out to the DoorDash guy Steven as well!! He needs 1,001 stars! 😂 Thank you China Wok, I appreciate you! 🫶🏽“

“2 wings in and my mouth burning eyes watering, nose running but there's flavor not just burning! It was definitely worth the wait!“

“During lunch today, Max went out of his way to take care of me and my mother, making sure everything was accurate and tailored to our needs.

He's a fantastic team member and a true asset to the crew, consistently bringing a high level of care and attention to the customer experience.

Shout-out to Max for making our visit smooth and enjoyable—employees like him really elevate the whole team.“

“The food is stupid good. Except the grits they were blah. Eat here you won't be disappointed“

“This is a fast food restaurant but don't be put off. The chicken is great whether original or grilled. There are other menu items as well like salads, waffle fries, etc. There are great breakfast foods as well. The service is great inside and drive thru. The food is reasonably priced. The drive- thru and inside servers are so courteous and helpful.“

“The team operating this store is outstanding! Very nice and attentive to all of the customers. I don’t know if this is their typical Wed evening, but staff was in the dining area, checking on everyone. Not a “typical “ fast food experience for families.“

“This store’s staff need more recognition. Their service and order accuracy are excellent. Special recognition for Sophie today. They were short staffed and had long line for ordering at the order window. She took my order and everyone else’s with a calm and positive demeanor despite the craziness of the staff shortage. I’ll continue coming to this Chic fil and if you’ve been served well here please post a review so this hardworking staff get recognized!“

“Smokin’ Chikin was fantastic! The chicken was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, with a perfect char from the grill. The seasoning was excellent without overpowering the chicken. The mac & cheese was creamy and delicious, and everything tasted fresh. Great portions, friendly service, and a casual atmosphere. Definitely a spot I’d come back to—5 stars!“

“We love this place and come back whenever we get the chance. The chicken fingers are always fresh, hot, and delicious, and the service has always been great. The only thing I’d change is the barbecue sauce—I usually bring my own because it’s not my favorite. Other than that, everything is excellent. We’ll definitely be back again! 🍗😋#moorefunthansense“

“The gentleman on the night shift the two guys the manager and the cook both went above and beyond for me I'm greatly appreciative of their customer service, I was new to the area waiting on a bus no place would let me order if I didn't have my vehicle with me and they were awesome enough to allow me to get my food ordered thanks guys!!!“
