We learned near the end of our dinner that one of the servers was sick, so the person who served us was actually the owner, Rick! He was phenomenal & extremely kind!

“I Took a first date here. I was looking for a quiet place with a unique yet quiet ambiance that lends itself to conversation. Pullman Standard delivered on all counts. It was a Tuesday evening at 730 and there was no crowd at all. Lights low and serviced was great. The creative cocktails were a hit with my date. They were a bit pricey, but I drank beer which was very reasonable considering. So that kind of offset the price. I ordered the charcuterie and it was presented very nicely. We transferred over to an empty couch after a while to get a litte more comfortable and intimate and everything went great. My date even complimented my choice of location. So Pullman Standard is now my new wingman.“

I'm currently adding an Absinthe program to a new concept I'm building and the gentlemen that took care of us (ashamed that I forgot his name) was a rockstar! He took the time to educate us on different techniques and the differences between Absinthes of different origins. We asked him to surprise us with chocolate and Absinthe pairings and he surely did not disappoint. If you are new to this world, have no fear. “Do not let the humble exterior of Martha My Dear fool you. I had a first class experience at this lounge that is off the beaten path in Nashville. Seeing a Cynar neon sign and vintage Amaro posters everywhere was an indication that this place knows their spirits. Bar service was fast and friendly...even on a Friday night. I had a few cocktails from the menu and one or two off the menu and was not disappointed. Their Negroni and Sidecar were top notch.
