I went in expecting to have a favorite and least favorite course but every single bite was so fantastic and carefully curated, I couldn’t choose between them. “Clean and bright, easy parking, well rounded menu with lots of choices. Portions sizes for more expensive rolls are generous, lower priced rolls are smaller but all very fresh tasting. Udon soup has a smoky rich taste, lots of noodles with a few raw vegetables. The only negative was the frozen fried tofu which is like a sponge - fresh or fresh fried would taste much better. Good selection of alcohol, the sakes, like the coconut lemongrass one are excellent but pricey. We have visited 4 times and have never been disappointed.“

“This is the only sushi store in the food hall, located right next to the passageway doors. They have over 30 different types of sushi rolls. Some small dishes, sashimi, desserts and drinks are also available in the menu. Prices range from $8 to $20. They are one of the rare stores that actually has seats all around it. Looks pretty cool to get the view of the kitchen from the seats.

I waited about 5 minutes in the line to put in my order. They use phone numbers to notify customers when order is ready for pick up. Very convenient as visitors can go around while their rolls are getting ready. My order took about 20 minutes to be ready. While I was waiting, I saw other orders coming out, the sushi and snack items looked really nice. The staff members were working super hard in the kitchen to get the huge numbers of orders completed as quickly as possible.

I got the eel sushi roll. It came with 10 pieces. The taste of the eel and rice was decent. The sauce was really good. They also have a lot of ginger and good quantity of wasabi. Overall it was a decent meal, but I wish the wait time wasn’t this long.“

“I have to give you all 5 stars, because of the great accommodations that you all made for my friend who has sensitivities to gluten and is also a vegan. I have 2 friends that have this background and my other friend and I went to a restaurant and they were unable to make accommodations and they wouldn't even use the gluten free sauce she bought brand new from the store. Whereas at Blue Sushi, not only do you all have a dedicated gluten free and vegan menu, you all even were able to adapt other menu items. So, I wanted to thank you on my friends behalf 🙏🏾.“

“After a delayed flight with a shortened layover, we were STARVING. We were able to grab containers of pre-made sushi, take a seat, and were in and out in under 20 minutes. The staff was very friendly, the food was great, and we weren't stuck waiting in line.“

“We had a few friends out to go to dinner at Sunda. To start this review, Mario and Justin were awesome. It really seems like the staff works very well with Mario and has a good time. Our group gave a some creative license on the food to Justin, who was serving us. The whole experience was one of a kind and truly exceptional. We had a few bottles of wine and some of the sake. Everyone at the table enjoyed what Mario, the manager, suggested for appetizers. We started off with some interesting sushi, spicy edamame, and shishito peppers. One creation called the Great White was beyond belief. Try it if you are in. A few more sushi creations went around the table were the salmon crudo, the yuzu tuna, the tuna truffle pizza, and the smoke show (which was a cool little presentation). My wife had the Tom Yum Sea Bass which was short of amazing. I had the pancit canton with chicken, which was the simplest of all of the adult dishes. Justin brought out a huge "boat" of sushi for one of my friends. It was probably one of the most adventurous and tasty sushi dishes I have ever seen. If you have kids, you know it means a ton when your child really loves their dinner. Mario suggested a salmon bento box, of which the kid loved every bite. The lychee mochi ice cream was a great dessert to end with. Mario sat with us for a few discussing the food and my child trusted his opinion on food so much she tried her first, second and third salmon nigiri! To finish we had the Ube pie and the bibingka cake because I like Ube and Filipino food. The pie was great but the bibingka cake took the show. It had an amazing flavor profile. The service was probably the best I have ever had. The staff's knowledge of the menu and what will pair well was on point. We cannot wait to go back after the holidays! Billy Dec did an amazing job with this restaurant and definitely has the right staff for Nashville. Be adventurous with your food and enjoy your experience here. You will not regret it! “The service is great.The food is eehh.The prices are way over priced and I can’t say it was worth it. They didn’t wow me for what we paid. It wasn’t bad. Just not good.The salmon was way over cooked and too salty.The lettuce wraps were also a bit over priced.It is just a bit too much for us. We are used to resort prices. But wow.Drinks were good! It is really loud in here as well especially at night with people walking around everywhere.“

A true hidden gem, this place had barely anyone inside but anyone who entered couldn’t help but smile and have fun as they were being treated by servers with infectious smiles and positive attitudes. The Crab Rangoon might have been the best appetizer I have ever eaten. It came out in a mere two minutes after ordering and then the main dish I had was Teriyaki Chicken and fried rice. The incredibly kind and accommodating staff (wish I knew all their names) still managed to fit my husband, our baby, and me in. I was beyond grateful for their generosity and understanding. It was my husband’s birthday, and had they not helped us, the night honestly would have been a disaster (NYE restaurant crowds are no joke!). On top of the outstanding hospitality, the food was absolutely phenomenal! It’s fresh, delicious, and brought out quickly despite how busy they were. “I give this place a 9 out of 10. The food is served at a reasonable price. Comes out at a great temperature cooked perfectly. The one point deduction is from the fried rice. It is a bit bland but when mixed in with the teriyaki or hibachi it comes to life but I wouldn't eat it on its own. The dumplings Are also cooked to perfection the perfect amount of soft and crispy. The staff is very nice and easy on the eyes. I would definitely eat here again. It has a great flavor profile and isn't that what matters the most. I also tried the Miso soup but I don't miso soup only tried it because it was so cheap and you never know.“

So I ordered pho and pad Thai it was delivered soon after. The portions were enormous and the flavor couldn’t have been better. I honestly think this food saved my life.“
