“Found a nice little restaurant tucked away. The employees were super nice. This location is a decent size. It looks tiny but mighty. Definitely the mom and pop vibe that makes you feel the staff actually wants to be there. Lots of great options on the menu. From sushi to udon. The menu definitely complements each item so you really can’t go wrong. We wanted something small and light. We ordered creamy udon with chicken. A simple but delicious dish. Almost like a sweet creamy cheesy Korean Alfredo sauce with a hint of corn. Juicy onion slices. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Not overcooked had a moist texture and flavor. It’s a very simple dish not much to it just simple traditional flavors. A dish that is very easy to mess up by this was the best one I have had in a while. Very reasonably priced. All together we spend about 15 bucks each before tip. Next time when we have more time we will try more variety. They menus looks great and the liquor selection is wonderful. We definitely recommend this place.“

“It was my first time eating Poke! I have to say, Beverly was amazing at walking me through all the different combinations and assured me that the salmon was great to eat raw. I went with yozu ponzu salmon. It was out of this world! I will definitely be coming back once I’m in town again. The garlic spam was also incredible. It was a bit pricy I think but otherwise everything was great.“

“This is the only sushi store in the food hall, located right next to the passageway doors. They have over 30 different types of sushi rolls. Some small dishes, sashimi, desserts and drinks are also available in the menu. Prices range from $8 to $20. They are one of the rare stores that actually has seats all around it. Looks pretty cool to get the view of the kitchen from the seats.

I waited about 5 minutes in the line to put in my order. They use phone numbers to notify customers when order is ready for pick up. Very convenient as visitors can go around while their rolls are getting ready. My order took about 20 minutes to be ready. While I was waiting, I saw other orders coming out, the sushi and snack items looked really nice. The staff members were working super hard in the kitchen to get the huge numbers of orders completed as quickly as possible.

I got the eel sushi roll. It came with 10 pieces. The taste of the eel and rice was decent. The sauce was really good. They also have a lot of ginger and good quantity of wasabi. Overall it was a decent meal, but I wish the wait time wasn’t this long.“

I got the hot bowl with shrimp and mixed veggies and I got my order within 5 mins, didn’t have to wait 30 mins in the chick fil a line or 20+ mins to get my food like at pharmacy or some of the Nashville faves in the airport. We had the best first time experience at MoriMori than I think we've ever had as far as first times go. We'd never been here before. Our waiter was fantastic!! He had suggestions from the drinks to the appetizers and our meal! The food we had was absolutely amazing! So many new flavors in my mouth. I cannot say enough, this place was a 10!!! “First trimester has me limited on food. Last night I was feeling so awful. Nothing heavy sounded good. Looked up places near us & they came up. It was 10/10 what my belly needed. The sticky rice was amazing , the miso soup was SO good. Got sushi too & didn't get a chance to eat it but excited for it today. Also, appreciate their side options. My kiddo wouldn't eat a full meal but the side option allowed us to get her something she actually would. 10/10 will eat again when in the area! A true hidden gem, this place had barely anyone inside but anyone who entered couldn’t help but smile and have fun as they were being treated by servers with infectious smiles and positive attitudes. Now onto our next subject. The food… My goodness did the food come out quick and they did not sacrifice quality food for good service either. The Crab Rangoon might have been the best appetizer I have ever eaten. It came out in a mere two minutes after ordering and then the main dish I had was Teriyaki Chicken and fried rice. The fried rice was soft, sweet and hot. Everyone needs to visit Poy Thai, I left with a new type of joy I have never felt before. When Jesus comes back He needs to visit Poy Thai.“

Then we topped it off with Mochi ice cream! Every bite was better than we’ve had in a long time on the road! We had a “Trainee” server…and the rest of their friendly staff helped her provide superior attention! So glad we found KOI SHSHI THAI early in our stay herein Nashville! We’ll be back!“

“I give this place a 9 out of 10. The food is served at a reasonable price. Comes out at a great temperature cooked perfectly. The one point deduction is from the fried rice. It is a bit bland but when mixed in with the teriyaki or hibachi it comes to life but I wouldn't eat it on its own. The dumplings Are also cooked to perfection the perfect amount of soft and crispy. The staff is very nice and easy on the eyes. I would definitely eat here again. It has a great flavor profile and isn't that what matters the most. I also tried the Miso soup but I don't miso soup only tried it because it was so cheap and you never know.“

“This place should have 5 stars. I have loved this restaurant for YEARS after getting a random takeout order on a lonely weekend in college. I’ve come here for my birthday, my graduation, for take out, on my best days, on my worst days… the staff is accommodating, sweet, and kind and the atmosphere is beautiful, open, and sometimes has live music!
The tofu pad see ew is the best dish I’ve ever had in my 23 years of life. They have amazing curry, pho, noodles, sushi, fried rice, appetizers, you name it. They have lots of vegetarian options as well. I’ve since moved to New York, but man, I think about this place once a week at least. Best Thai in Nashville, and, yes, I say that knowing the Smiling Elephant is right down the road. Skip the line and come here.
