Teriyaki was ok. My son ordered this as he isnt adventurous. I dont think most people are coming here for this anyway.

“First trimester has me limited on food. Last night I was feeling so awful. Nothing heavy sounded good. Looked up places near us & they came up. It was 10/10 what my belly needed. The sticky rice was amazing , the miso soup was SO good. Got sushi too & didn't get a chance to eat it but excited for it today. Also, appreciate their side options. My kiddo wouldn't eat a full meal but the side option allowed us to get her something she actually would. 10/10 will eat again when in the area! Also appreciated the to go option & the wait time wasn't bad.“

If y'all are near Donelson, give it a try, it's so good. 🤤 Edit to add- after reviewing comments on other reviews, this restaurant *definitely* just became my new favorite. “The salmon here is otherworldly...but not like, what your mind would conjure up as some space-faring salmon. Think more terrestrial. What I mean is that I've had some of the best salmon sashimi here that I have put in my mouth. Fatty, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth salmon. Everything else has been great here too! Try the calimari. It can be tough to find places that do it well. Probably the best sushi I'm Mt Juliet since Hana years ago.“

“First off, let me start with the service. The staff were welcoming and kind. The inside decor was clean and the vibe was inviting. A true hidden gem, this place had barely anyone inside but anyone who entered couldn’t help but smile and have fun as they were being treated by servers with infectious smiles and positive attitudes. Now onto our next subject. The food… My goodness did the food come out quick and they did not sacrifice quality food for good service either. The Crab Rangoon might have been the best appetizer I have ever eaten. It came out in a mere two minutes after ordering and then the main dish I had was Teriyaki Chicken and fried rice. The fried rice was soft, sweet and hot. Everyone needs to visit Poy Thai, I left with a new type of joy I have never felt before. When Jesus comes back He needs to visit Poy Thai.“

“Our meals with nine folks for a lunch birthday party were excellent! I tried the grilled chicken and veggies with a side of grilled mushrooms; awesome! It came with a small salad and a small bowl of chicken broth soup. The restaurant is clean & pleasant. The staff was attentive and helpful. This is a great dining find!“

“Had a wonderful experience here, with the very kind waitress Rose. The ambiance was perfect, and the Cascade Roll knocked my socks off! Had a small issue (on my end) that the manager worked very hard to resolve! Really appreciate the help, and I think the trip is definitely worth a repeat.“

“Yesterday we had a fabulous dinner at KOI SUSHI THAI, EAST in Nashville….. it was wonderful! We started with Squid Salad and Gyoza then ate our way through totally yummy Crab Bang, YumYum, Eel Nigiri, White Tuna, & Sweet Shrimp… crunchy and delicious! Then we topped it off with Mochi ice cream! Every bite was better than we’ve had in a long time on the road! We had a “Trainee” server…and the rest of their friendly staff helped her provide superior attention! So glad we found KOI SHSHI THAI early in our stay herein Nashville! We’ll be back!“

“We were pleasantly surprised at the freshness and how often the food was refreshed. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We came around 4.30 on Friday for the dinner buffet which had crab, shrimp. Crawfish and many other seafood and meat dishes. Definitely worth a visit. Super reasonable price to boot.“
