“They say you should never meet your heroes, but clearly they’ve never met Candy. I ordered a simple unsweet tea, macaroni, a burger slider… and she turned it into a five-star experience. Halfway through my meal, a flock of rogue pigeons somehow burst through the front door (long story), and one made a dive straight for my slider. In one fluid motion, Candy blocked it with a cocktail shaker, slid me to safety, and single-handedly negotiated peace with the birds. She refilled my tea before I even knew I was thirsty again. Her tea pouring technique should be studied in hospitality schools, and if she ever writes a memoir, I’ll be first in line… assuming she isn’t too busy saving the world. 5 stars, no notes“

“We had a group of 30 Jeeps stop in there after the Halls Christmas parade and our entire group had 1 server. At first I was a bit concerned but he was phenomenal! All of our orders were taken correctly, the food was hot and amazing, and it all came out together! I’ve eaten there a bunch and always had excellent services and delicious food!“

“We love this place! The themed nights are great, and you always feel safe here. We come every Monday night for line dancing. Jessica, the instructor is amazing! She makes everyone in the room feel welcome no matter your skill level. I actually look forward to Mondays now knowing I get to come here. Have a beer after a hard day's work and get to dance the day away. (Also, ladies. they have a really clean bathroom which is an absolute must for a bar that you frequent. The scenery aka the posters in the women's bathroom are probably my favorite part 😉😉)“

“We had lunch mid week. Excellent service from greeter to server. Manager cruised through to check on us. We requested an entree only served at dinner and the chef graciously accommodated. Food was outstanding. Shrimp and grits were perfect. Lobster crab cakes presentation was as good as the taste. I’m from the Gulf Coast and very picky about seafood. The crab bisque was delicious as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
