“Heading home to South Carolina from a trip to Wisconsin. Stopped in town for gas and decided it was time for lunch. We make it a policy to never eat fast food when on the road, so we decided to try Grumpa Bear BBQ. Delicious 'cue and sides, quick and very friendly service. Meat was moist and smoky, home made sauces were a real treat, and the prices were quite reasonable. We will most definitely come back next trip!“

The meat is the star and the rest is simply to accent and showcase the fact. Not a fan of deep fried pickles but these folks have set the bar for deep fried perfection when it comes to this appetizer. “My family visited a few days ago and Let me start off by saying the food was amazing! The employees were on top of it. They were cleaning and making sure everyone was taken care of. The manager was present and working along with them and correcting them in a calm manner when they forgot hushpuppies on a dinner of mine. I can't remember names but the manager was short and blond and she made sure we were taken care of. The employee was a young man with with short dark hair. Overall even if the food was bad I would return just for the fact we felt welcomed in. Thank you!“

“Overall a fun experience, i can see the trouble people complaining about the food but our time each year is good there. A few small issues with our order. Drinks are getting slightly more expensive. Very clean place, fun water activities for the kids.“
