“We went 7/4/26 at 4pm. Had Famous Daves been open we would have eaten there. Jim's was okay but the spareribs were overdone and salty. They only come one way. We will not be going back. Too bad.“

“Fantastic! It's in an old auto body shop that they didn't change much, very cool setting. We were seated immediately. Tried pulled chicken, pulled pork, mac, and grilled chicken. All bangers. Great service. Easily one of the best bbq joints we've been to.“

The brisket was like wallet leather dry and the fries were stale and cold I took it inside and the crew today was so respectful and thoughtful. They apologized and made fresh fries and the just had fresh brisket come out. I will def. Retired because of the customer service I experienced. However, ensuring food meets quality before being served should be more focused on.“

“Our waiter, Jai, at the Pigeon Forge location was the best. He was polite, attentive and extremely efficient. When we arrived on a very cold, TN afternoon, he noticed us linger by the fireplace and immediately served a cup of hot coffee. Please know that he is an asset to your business.“

“Look the bartender who worked Easter dont play. Best drink I've ever had. Tried to order 2nd long island ice tea and could handle it. She insisted on refunding 2nd order in which I vehemently refused but she did anyway. Will be returning when im back in Knoxville.“

I already have positive feelings about Buddy’s Bar-B-Q because it was so much fun and felt so special to go as a child with my grandparents. I didn’t love having to go to the one connected to a gas station but we made it work. When my children, grandfather and I were running errands in the area we were ecstatic to find a Buddy’s in Clinton and stopped in to eat. The food was very typical for Buddy’s (not complaining) but I don’t remember being offered extra meat for a little more money on the order we usually place at the other Buddy’s. I assume the person taking the orders was learning and I don’t hold that against them. It will come in time. What really stood out to us was the atmosphere. It was outstandingly beautiful! The bathrooms were quite clean and it was nice to see an employee wiping tables down and making an effort to maintain the cleanliness of the dining area while we ate. I appreciated that the employee wiped things down, gathered used trays and didn’t disturb our meal in the process. I know restaurants have to clean but I despise when a worker aggressively sprays chemicals on a nearby table close enough to our food to land on it! I’m not sure I remember that person spraying anything anyway (brain is too tired to remember) but it’s a pet peeve of mine and I’m glad it didn’t happen mid meal. There were more people inside than I expected but it certainly wasn’t crowded. The whole atmosphere just seemed new and fresh. Hopefully it will stay that way! We love the vibe of this place. It feels so authentic to Buddy’s Bar-B-Q!“

“Baked potatoes keep getting smaller and smaller. Got an order to go today and had to cook another potato at home to have one normal baked potato. Love your steaks, but you need to get bigger baked potatoes to keep me coming back.“
