“What a wonderful place! I had the best buttermilk biscuit I've ever had in my life. I ordered the catfish and it was AMAZING! My Moscow mule was made perfectly. The building was really cool with boat docks for miles. I think they must really party hard here in the summer.The only thing I didn't like and was confused by were these little bird house looking boxes they had on their tiki deck. The boxes are clearly made to trap and kill bumble bees as they were half full with the bodies.Now I'm not from here and maybe they have a good reason to kill all these bumbles....but according to the Internet bumble bees are endangered and extremely important to the ecosystem around here. So that was weird. Great place though. I had a lovely time.Vegetarian options: They had baked potatoes, a bread basket, and salads.Parking: The parking lot is HUGE! If it's full that means there's a really long wait time. Worth the wait for the food.“

“Sons of Smoke has a great local following and appears to be family-run, which I appreciate. Their namesake smoke on the ribs was excellent, with a great char and deep flavor. However the meat itself was quite dry, almost grainy in texture, that their sweet and hot barbecue sauces couldn't save. I enjoyed the Friday special, the pork tenderloin sandwich. It was pounded very thin and breaded well so that it had both a crunch and was chewy. The rest of the food, while cooked well, was bland and lacked flavor overall, including the green beans, onion rings, pulled pork, and baked potato. A little more seasoning and Sons of Smoke could easily be one of the best barbecue joints around.“
“Everything was extremely clean and nice. We went an hour before closing, and it was almost empty. The food was decent for the price, so I was unsure why there weren't a lot of people still present. The waitress we had was exceptionally nice. My only concern is that I got the teriyaki chicken with Mac and cheese. The Mac was pretty bland. The chicken was moist and flavored well with the sauce, though.My husband received the burger and fries, and it looked amazing. Normally, he throws his left overs away, and this was a time he actually ate them a few hours later. I'm still confused as to why there weren't a lot of people there.“

And everyone that works there is friendly and if for any reason you have to send ur food back when they bring it back out the Manger working that shift will come out and talk with you to make sure ur satisfied. “The Brisket is excellent. The sandwich was wonderful, along with the bun toasted to perfection. However, the fries were pretty nasty. They were full of fryer oil. Not crispy. I soaked them into a napkin, and the oil that came out was a lot. Non edible. The hot plate for the sauce was extremely hot to the touch. Not warm. Very hot. It was hard to pick up the sauce cups with sauce because they were hot. The sauces taste wonderful, though. I did not like drinking out of plastic drink wear. Plastic is just so...plasticity.“
“We had a wonderful birthday experience with a very nice dinner. The food was cooked just as we asked and tasted very good. Our waitress was very attentive and kept up on our drinks and bread. The birthday yeehah was fun and we diffinitely will be back!“
“Pork BBQ sandwich was good. Chicken sandwich was large chunks of dry chicken with BBQ sauce on them. Should shred the chicken like they do the pork. The sauce saved the chicken. Mopping the floor better at the entrance would help too. Felt greasy and almost fell going in.“
