“It was sorta late when i came in around 10. I wasn't greeted immediately but the manager seen that and hussled up front to greet me. All i got was a Happy meal hamburger ketchup only. It was served up really quick and the food was hot. Good job guys.

“As a couple with no family and no friends except one who cared enough to reach out and say, “do you have somewhere to go for the Thanksgiving holiday…” the fact that South Press welcomed all in the community was heart warming. The staff is always so kind to us, the food especially the soups are tasty. The drinks blow away big corporate coffee chains. I love to just sit in there with a beverage and soak up the atmosphere and the community. Being in there makes me want to do better and be better as a human. When I thanked Joslynn for having us for Friendsgiving, she thanked me for coming, asked me if I had enough to eat, and said to take a box of food home. This is why I go to South Press, I have never felt anything but welcome in this space and I think it’s very existence, its staff, and its owner reminds me that we are all humans and being a better one starts with acts of kindness for no other reason than you see a need and you ACT to fill it and it doesn’t hurt that they make a mean drink and soup.“

“We had a baby shower at CommonPlace Coffee & Community, it was the perfect event space! The staff member present was amazing, kind, and super helpful. The space is huge and accommodates a good amount of people, it was super spacious and we were able to decorate as well for the theme. “My daughter was meeting some friends here. While I was there, I witnessed such a beautiful moment. One of the baristas was engaging with a gentleman with special needs who was in a wheelchair. She knew what drink he liked, his preferences, and was such a beautiful picture of kindness and service and she went above and beyond to extend hospitality to him. “This starbucks on montvue rd by the mall is a hit or miss regarding service. One time they may hot the mark and the next time blame me for the lid not being on tight when I went to get my coffee and burned my hand,leaving it dark pink and sore skin for 24 hours, and then forgetting I had food, all the while never offering to comp anything and telling me to go to the bathroom and run cold water on my hand. The batista saying it's no big deal, I burn myself on the daily." “We love Starbucks in Turkey Creek! We feel comfortable meeting here for our business - sometimes an hour, sometimes several hours. Yesterday, we sat outside and it was hot, but they do have umbrellas for shade. The restaurant is always clean and service is great!“
