“Y’all- this is the sweetest little coffee shop. My only issue is that they close pretty early! It’s worth planning my time around, though.I love their breakfasts- I get the Taft on an everything bagel. They make a lovely flat white, they’ve got yummy iced lattes, their espresso pulls are sweet. I went in crying yesterday and one of the baristas gave me a cookie because they recognize how often I’m there and I’ve been going through it, lol! They are literally the sweetest staff, polite, fast service, good seating options in a really cute spot. I can’t recommend them enough. ?

Parking: Parking in front of store; sometimes runs out, but more parking at shops next door.“

Fast forward to this year I had a bag of coffee shipped to me, I must say I once again am pleased with the quality. I would enjoy a sample pack if that's something you would put together one day; nevertheless, I'll be ordering again once this bag is gone. Thank you for the attention to quality!“

“My son was screaming while I was ordering, the young girl taking my order ran to go grab him the milk I ordered and waited for me to pour it in his sippy and took the cup back to throw away. She obviously did not have to do any of that and I am so grateful she did because the line was long and it allowed me to wait in line without a screaming baby. “Star bucks is no longer my go to. I haven't had much but coffee and avocado toast from here, but their AT is by far the grandest I have ever seen or tasted. It is truly a shareable meal. They give you a large portion that's loaded with all the healthy stuff and exploding with flavor in every bite. I had a coffee that had molasses in it, and if you have not tried it, you aren't the coffee connisuer that you think you are. I only wish there was one closer to where I live. But it's worth the 25-minute drive every time.“

My wife and I stopped by on our way home to Norris, TN and tried the Irish Jig latte—an incredible mix of cinnamon, maple, nutmeg, Irish cream, and more. “I have been coming to Chattanooga every year for 15 years since my grandma lives here and we recently discovered Chattz last November on our trip and we now make it a must have every morning of our trip! We had the Eleanor Raspberry which was delish and got my toddler a slushy lemonade with strawberry 🍓 and it was so yum also, he drank it until the last drop! “This is a locally owned drive-thru only coffee shop. You have to be very careful when driving in because it is counterintuitive and you can easily end up going the wrong way. You do not order at the speaker but pull to the window to order. I got a hazelnut bliss and it was amazing. The service was friendly with good eye contact, knowledgeable about the products and articulate. However the interaction felt very rushed even though there was no one in line. This would have been five stars if the person had been more conversational and the signage for navigating the drive-thru had been clear. But really like the coffee and will certainly be back.“

“Five Stars for sure. I Love this place ! Best espresso of any coffee shops around….hands down. So much better than Starbucks! I visit 3-4 times a week and all of the staff are incredibly friendly. They remember me and usually remember my order. Their service is quick and efficient despite the tiny space.“

“Went early on a Saturday just after 8pm opening, not a smoker and hoped to beat the fog bank that can develop with multiple smokers, cover was around $10 and one drink purchase, I don't do alcohol and opted for a coke zero, it was flat and owner/manager heard and replaced with no problems, the bar tender/cashier Dahlia was a cute petite lady and does dance as well and I got what was a nice private room dance but despite enjoying myself I guess she didn't because as soon as the song ended she had her crocs on and was out the room, I was going to get a few more songs but didn't get a chance to ask, had a beautiful lady Trixie talk and enjoy some small talk with her got several dances from her and she was wonderful, had a dance from a couple other women and enjoyed them as well. As the name indicates it is a bikini bar so all dancers were covered with bikinis, no nudity but I still had a nice time. There were about 8 to 12 different dancers and a wide assortment from petite little treats, bbw, small breasts and large, 5' to close to 6' tall. Will be back.“

“I've been a regular here since I moved to Southside in 2018. I have to admit I was a bit sad they got rid of happy hour from 3-5pm during the week but I can see how the hours were slower then. Anyways, I wanted to give a huge shout out to ALL of the staff who always take care of me. But this past Sunday March 16th, Emma was the best ever and took my annoying order (I stock up on coffees for the week since I can't come before they close anymore LOL) shortly before closing time! I called to make sure she'd be okay with that and she was amazing! The rest of the staff is always so great and wonderful too. I love everyone who works there! It's great to see this business has grown with different locations (I've been to the Northshore location a few times) but Southside's location will always be my go to!!! Thank you for amazing coffee! I also LOVE the customer card where you get a free coffee after 10 coffee purchases, it's the best loyalty program!!!

Side note: I've gotten their Trap sandwich before and their chocolate chip cookies before.....and their giant cinnamon rolls featured on Cheap Eats all those years ago....all delicious!!!!“

“Simply delicious, especially considering I had a healthy option, namely the Protein Scramble. They were nice enough to accommodate my request for 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites in the scramble. The addition of the goat cheese is not one I would have thought of, but a welcome addition nonetheless. Added bonus is that the coffee here is more than decent.“

“Omgoodness this is a wonderful 100% vegan restaurant. The brunch Sunday was amazing. A friend suggested this to us and we're so glad she did. We had the 2 tofu scramble tacos with a side salad and a cup of fruit. We shared it cause we were going to a friend's house and just needed something to tide us over. I'm glad we shared it cause it would have filled me up. Can't wait to be back in Chattanooga again.“

After trying smoothies and bowls at all the local raw bar spots, Real Roots definitely takes the win for best overall. The quality for the price is amazing, especially when you look at their competitors who aren’t making anything near as tasty and charge what feels like double. It’s been my go to for a few years now. I moved out of state to a big city and was blown away after a recent visit to get my go to bowl while out visiting friends. I didn’t realize just how good this place is until leaving and coming back. You’ll definitely find me stopping by every time I’m in town.

For reference, I always get The Peak bowl. Maybe one day I’ll branch out and get some of their food (a temptation every visit) but man the bowls are just SO good.“

“Absolutely great place to get coffee! This shop is located inside of a hotel but still is great small coffee shop to go to. The barista there was testing different ways of making coffee and giving it the tests to customers to try. Also asked me a few more questions than usual to try and find a latte that would suit me. The atmosphere isn’t the best compared to others but the location and coffee are incomparable to a lot of cafes I have been to.“

“The hotel is unique! Check-in is at the bar! Stayed here with girlfriends and enjoyed the delightful lobby with multiple seating areas designed in boho fashion. We were given a $10 token to be used for a specialty drink at the bar or their coffee shop (which wasn't open until the next morning). The "bartender/check-in gal" was most helpful and very friendly. Our room (for 3) was adequate although not very functional. Two queen beds sit back to back which looks "fun" but in reality was not very conducive for us. The decor is cool, pegs line one wall to hang clothes, bags, etc. since there is no closet or dresser. The room appears smaller than most with a narrow layout. There is no refrigerator in the room. Ice may be obtained at the bar as there are no ice machines available. An "ironing" room is located on each floor. I would find this extremely inconvenient if I had been a business traveler! The bathroom was lovely and very clean and modern. I particularly liked the walk-in shower. The hotel has one cart for customers to use to help with luggage. My one complaint is the lack of parking. We returned to the hotel at 9:00 pm and had trouble finding a space. We ended up parking in their auxiliary lot which was further from the hotel and very inconvenient. The hotel is close enough to walk to many restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Overall the stay was good, fun decor and pleasant staff!“

“I have been going to this Starbucks every morning for at least six months now. The staff has been consistent and very friendly. Destiny and Angela have been there since I’ve started going to this location. They greet me every morning and remember my order! I would recommend this location!“

“I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but I get the appeal of Starbucks as a café and as a place to hang out with friends and study for classes. I really like this one in particular for that purpose because it has plenty of space inside for customers to sit down and relax over coffee or one of their other offerings. This Starbucks location also offers a wide variety of breakfast options and pastries, though they're often in limited supply. Either way, if you're a student, you can come and visit and even use your meal plan to pay for your coffee! Definitely worth a try.“
