“Visited twice while in TN and I tried Fancy Nancy and Sassy Scotty (my favorite of the two), and loaded baked potato soup (delicious). At another reviewer's suggestion, instead of ordering the sandwich the second time around I just got the scoop and made my own since you get so much more chicken salad with the scoop compared to the sandwich. There were a couple of those little "hard pieces" in the chicken salad but it won't stop me from returning. Everything was great including the little cookie they give you with your meal!“

“55 South in Franklin is an absolute gem and truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. The food was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish was delicious, and you can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they serve.
What truly set this experience apart was the staff. Alanna was phenomenal, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made us feel completely taken care of, anticipated our needs, and struck the perfect balance between attentive and relaxed service. On top of that, David was incredible to work with when helping us accommodate a special occasion. He was extremely communicative, thoughtful, and made the entire process seamless and stress-free. His attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond made the experience feel truly special.
Whether you’re celebrating something important or just looking for an amazing meal in a comfortable, inviting setting, 55 South delivers on every level. “My husband went to o/charleys for dinner tonight. He got the chicken finger dinner, got me fish & chips. They were so over cooked, I had to break open and smell of each to know what was what. We eat there so often because we're both disabled, but they just lost a good customer. The puppy got full.....“

“Truly a 5-star experience. The views of LA from this floor are just breathtaking. It will take two elevators and several minutes to get there but it is well worth the wait. The decor is upscale, sophisticated. The hostess are great. The combination of music, lighting, and views makes for a great time. This restaurant offers 3 course dining and if there is something in any course you really liked, you can order additional portions, for a price. My 1st course: Japanese Sea Bream Crudo. My 2nd course: Australian Barramundi. My 3rd course: Chocolate Semifreddo. The Japanese Sea Bream just melts in your mouth. Its fish cut sushi grade with floral ceviche presentation. The Australian Barramundi may now be my favorite white fish. Skin cooked to crisp sitting on a bed of caramelized vegetables and almonds with a lemon citrus flavor. And for the finale, the Semifreddo, think light, but sweet chocolate mouse, with choclate cookie. 71Above, is truly a dining experience. This is now my favorite restaurant in all of LA.“
