We literally saw it on Google maps right before we passed it and decided to stop. SO glad we did. I’ve been missing the good pupusas I used to get in NW Arkansas, and was so happy when I saw them on the menu. We also had a sope al pastor, chorizo tacos and a new-to-us dish called pollo con tajadas. I recommend ALL of them.“

I got the chipotle tortilla - I'm not sure if I actually noticed any difference versus a regular tortilla, but I'd get it again since I enjoyed the burrito as a whole. Chips and salsa were good too - salsa bar is nice.

The line was out the door and around the corner of the building - despite liking the food I doubt I'd come back for dinner again for this reason. Hopefully lunch is better.“

Festive outdoor area, playing Mexican music at a moderate level but still had great convo. If you're looking for a quiet fancy place this isnt it, more dive hole in the wall. “Our first time here. Chips aren’t our favorite but, with the exception of another place, most chips are okay. We like them hot and salty. The restaurant was very clean, not dark and drab at all ~ really nice decor. We really appreciated being able hear each other, too. Bright enough but not sterile which we really liked. Guacamole was very good. Ordered birria tacos ~ shredded beef was lean (hallelujah!) but shells could be crispier, which I’ll request next time. Also ordered chile colorado, and chile flavor was yummy! Our server was wonderful, and we’ll definitely be back!

“Great chicken and the sides did not disappoint. Had to stop after driving by so many times and seeing the smokers going hard at all times if the day. I'm thinking there's tacos and plates to be made but I just rolled with what everyone else was ordering and I knew I could get a chicken even with my lil bit of Spanish (fortunately the cashier knew I was in over my head there). Parking: This is in a strip mall so plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: Yes, they have a bar, however a majority of the seating is family style.

I stopped by San Luis Taqueria in Nashville on a whim for a late afternoon lunch, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. I ordered four tacos Mexican-style with the addition of tomatoes, and I was impressed with the quality. The tortillas were homemade, which added a delightful, authentic touch to every bite. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, fresh, and packed with flavor.

I also tried a sope, and it was exceptional—rich, savory, and wonderfully crafted. The accompanying red and green hot sauces were the perfect complements, offering just the right balance of heat and flavor without overwhelming the dishes.

Beyond the food, the restaurant itself was spotless. Both the dining area and the bathroom were immaculately clean, which speaks volumes about their commitment to maintaining high standards. The service was equally remarkable—the staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome throughout my visit.
