“There's some 'bitter betty's' making some sour reviews....but what I can say is that her deserts hands down are the best. I've never had a problem ordering or getting ahold of someone. Nothing about this place was disappointing and I strongly disagree with those negative reviews. And this place will always get my business. Keep doing your thing Carnell!!!!“

“First off you all did an amazing job on my son's wedding cake on 04/20/24. Not only was the cake drop dead gorgeous it was so darn good. I accompanied my daughter-in-love at the tasting, and I was sold on the first bite. Your staff was very patient and accommodating. “Don’t skip on this when in Dallas - Owner has the best energy and customer service in Dallas hands down. The shop is super clean, the pastry sizes are worth the price, and the taste is unbelievably delicious. Everything we got was an 11/10, I don’t think I could ever replicate these at home even with instructions. They were incredible, and anytime I come back to Dallas I’ll be visiting for sure.“

“Every unrefined bakery location is fantastic. This one seems to always be stocked.
They have the best of everything gluten-free. Everything is made without cornstarch as well, which is really helpful for celiac whose food sensitivities extend beyond wheat. I love that they do not rely on oats, which are also inflammatory for many people with celiac.
Truly, an amazing place to get sweet treats, I love their cupcake of the month. Also a great place for gluten-free bread, hotdog buns, hamburger buns, they will give you experiences you haven’t had in years because you couldn’t safely eat, and that’s just the best thing ever. Having a burger for the first time in years on an actual bun instead of with lettuce was amazing.“

“On March 5th, I visited SusieCakes Lakewood to order a gender reveal cake for a very special and emotional occasion for a dear friend’s family. I had the pleasure of working with Nevo, who showed such patience, kindness, and compassion as I explained the situation—it truly meant more than I can express.
When we returned that Saturday to pick up the cake, the store manager, Penge, shared that Nevo had told her he wished he could personally pay for it. The team at SusieCakes then chose not to charge us—a level of generosity and empathy we never expected from people who had never met us.

“Picked up sugar and snickerdoodle cookies on recent stop. Hands down one of the best snickerdoodle cookie; not overly sweet or cinnamon. Only thing and it’s minor, just needed to be baked a tad hit bit longer. Sugar cookies are amazing; simple and sweet. Highly recommend!“
