“Today met a dear friend for breakfast, my first time at La Casita. I ordered an egg and vegetable hash that was delicious along with a wonderful cappuccino. It was a delight to find a cappuccino with such well proportioned and balanced flavor, a relief from the huge milky offerings so many other places serve. We shared a guava and strawberry filled pop tart, which involved a perfect delicious tender flaky pastry wrapped around a both slightly sweet and tart filling. Our server, Tess, was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped us with our selections, and later we were treated by Jesus to a scrumptious seasonal glazed bun. That glazed bun was honestly too good for words, mildly sweet, hint of cinnamon, just oodles of delicious texture and subtle flavor. Obviously, I will return soon.“

“This is absolutely the best bagel I've ever had in my entire life. That firm crunch on the outside and soft and fluffy inside and that Schmear tho! (chefs kiss) 🤤 I went to the downtown location next to the 👁️ it's such a cool little spot and the staff was awesome especially Sam. I'm about to recommend this place to every person I know and every person I meet in the future. The bagel is in my blood now!“

“😡First time, last time - I was really looking forward to those bagels, too. Cashier rang my order up wrong, $3.00 difference (more). Instead of explaining the mistake and letting me pay the difference or just let it go (wasn't my fault), manager insisted on voiding the transaction to re-ring "correctly." Told her just credit the ticket and left. Terrible attitude to take with any customer, especially a new one (which I mentioned more than once).“

“I love Einsteins bagels and coffee, but in particular this location (Tollway and Parker). It’s one of the only stores that has survived, and seemingly thrived for decades. The staff here is a cut above. Many of the staff have been here for years, or have migrated from other stores that have closed (as I used to frequent those locations too). The newer employees, some who have now been at this location for a while, have clearly adopted the hard work/customer service mindset. This store has several Einstein veterans who lead by example & why customers like myself keep returning.

“Employees are amazing but the clientele sucks. I was just there the other day. Every time I come there, there's a customer screaming over something unreasonable and the employees just sit there and take it and still do whatever the customers says and then keep working like it didn't happen. I really hope that management that actually cares about their well being gets that. Cause the customers obviously don't.“

I usually don’t leave reviews but his personality is so bright. He managed to bring down a line that was hitting the door and was able to get every single person in that line to walk away from the register with a laugh.
