“I had the pleasure of dining at Lazy Dog recently, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. As for the food, the quality was top-notch. Each dish we ordered was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavor. The menu offered a great variety, and we found something to satisfy every palate at our table. From appetizers to desserts, every bite was a treat. Lazy Dog offering a relaxing atmosphere, fantastic service, and outstanding food quality. It's a place I'll be returning to without a doubt!“

Yard House prepares their food with tender love and care, and flavors that keep customers returning for more. Their service is welcoming, informative, and highly attentive. Yard House provides a nice atmosphere to hangout solo, or with friends, family, and loved ones.

I encourage you to sample a beer or cocktail along with a selection of appetizers and an entree. I recommend the chicken tortilla soup, parmesan truffle fries, boneless chicken wings, lobster garlic noodles, and their new Korean ribeye marinated in sweet soy sauce and ginger.“

“My wife and I were staying the night at The Domain, and knew that Haywire had recently opened, so we decided to book a table for the evening. On entry, it’s obvious there’s a heavy Western theme. There’s cow hide on the chairs, some of the servers were in cowboy hats and wranglers, longhorn’s hung on the wall…the whole nine. The unusual thing about the décor, is that there’s also shelves holding bits of old technology, books and toys. The external black brick and shaded yellow accent lights is a color theme I like a lot….looks very slick. The overall look is slick, with a casual yet stylistic atmosphere with nice mood lighting. Anyways, on to the food! We started with the Crispy Pork Belly Bites…they were good. The sweet honey glaze, pickled fresnos and charred mandarins give it a sweet, tasty and smoky flavor. For my main, I had the bone-in cowboy ribeye with charred broccolini. I asked for medium rare, but it came out more medium and I wasn’t that keen on the broccolini. My wife went with the petite filet and tallow fries….the fries were really nice. We used to cook our “chips” in beef dripping back in the day as a kid in England, which is essentially what beef tallow is. I finished off with the Whiskey Bread Pudding, which is made with crossiants and topped with caramel sauce, cinnamon sugar and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. VERY NICE!!! Everything is sourced locally, too. Service was fast and friendly, so I can’t fault them there either. It’s not cheap, though. Price-wise, it’s between Paul Martin’s and Perry’s Steakhouse. Overall, we enjoyed our time there and will be back again.“

“My wife, baby and I have been to Zest several times and we live in London. It is the only place we want to eat when in Dallas. That should give you a strong indication of the level of food served and the overall experience.

Family owned and operated, you get a sense of the care that goes into the establishment through the owners and their staff. I’ve seen college kids, young couples/families, businessmen and women all look comfortable and enjoying themselves in the environment.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are exceptional. It’s hard to recommend any one dish. I am a food snob from the northeast and find it easy to point out failures in restaurants. Zest does not have any faults to point out.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian options. Able to modify dish to any preference

Parking: Free up to 2 hours. Plenty of parking spaces in the Snyder Plaza

Kid-friendliness: Extremely kid friendly with food options, spacing and ambience

“My husband and I stopped here for dinner while waiting for our flight out. The service was very good and our server's name was Lindsey and she did a great job. We never wanted for anything. My husband got the Grilled chicken Panini and really liked it. It was very good. I got the Cobb Salad and was very pleased with it as well. The prices were what you would expect at the airport. Be aware that they offer add a credit card surcharge when you use the credit card. Would recommend for your dinner needs while in Terminal D.“

“I recently had a wonderful date night with my boyfriend at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the hostess and promptly seated. Our waiter, Jacy, was amazing and helped us choose our cocktails while explaining everything on the menu in detail. When our food arrived, it was absolutely delicious. I’ve never had such a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this place!“

This is an intimate restaurant great for dates, so they don’t typically seat large parties which keeps the vibes for date night perfect.“

I was a bit overwhelmed by the numerous options available to me (as a vegetarian for 30+ years, usually a fairly limited selection at a burger joint), but Bentley reassured me I could build any combination I’d like. I went with the Vegan Patty (freshly made in house), w/cheddar cheese, crispy onion straws, ketchup, lettuce & jalapeño chutney on the side. It was Effing PERFECTION! I’m so glad we stopped here, huge shout out to Bentley on being exactly what we love in our server: Genuinely friendly, helpful & attentive- you ROCK!“

But this evening was the most horrible restaurant experience that I have ever had in all of Dallas. The manager by the name of XAVIER half way into our meal stated that DRAKES by order of the owner HUNTER POND has a time limit in their dining experience. XAVIER was rude, hurried and condescending while there were several empty tables on a wednesday night He obviously knows nothing about customer service but was evidently made a manager by Mr Pond because he drives the numbers by chasing guests out of the restaurant to create capacity. The quality of the food has gone down substantially and the management in place knows nothing about quality service. Going out to dinner and spending a considerable amount of money should not be accompanied by rude uncouth service in the most hurried manner and complimented with very mediocre food and terrible service. I would not recommend this restaurant at any level. I am personally very sad to see Drakes in this light. I would like a personal call from Mr. Pond himself. Service: 0 Food: Mediocre“
