Talkin' Tacos in Plano, TX was a delightful surprise for both me and the kids. This was my first experience with halal Mexican cuisine, and it definitely set the bar high. I got the Steak Burrito (SPICY) with additional cilantro, while the kids opted for their usuals: Chicken Tenders with Fries and Apple Juice.

The burrito was bursting with flavor and heat—the steak was tender, well-cooked, and had its own distinct flavor throughout each mouthful. I honestly forgot to take more photos since I was so excited to dig in! The kids enjoyed their lunch just as much, so it was a win for the whole family.

The service was smooth and efficient. Ordering at the kiosk sped up the procedure and reduced long lineups, which is definitely an advantage when you're with a large party!

The ambiance was clean, cozy, and roomy. They had plenty of seating and could easily accommodate our large family.

Talkin' Tacos has become an official staple in my Texas cuisine trip! I'll definitely return to sample more of the menu—there are so many alternatives to explore. Highly recommended!“

“Have been here twice now. This is very authentic food and flavors. First time was for my husband to try out their large breakfast burritos. Everything is made fresh and tastes amazing. I love getting their chilaquiles with the verde salsa - pretty spicy. Portion sizes are quite large and could make a plate shareable. They also make tortillas fresh on weekdays and sell them. There is not a lot of sit down space for eating, recommended to take your food to go if possible.

“At the Grapevine location in Harvest Hall, this was the best stall option out of the few our group tried. My gluten-sensitive husband ordered their daily special of loaded fried that were topped with steak, shrimp, and lobster. The garlic aioli was a bit strong, but tasty! It was a bit pricey, but so were all the other stalls and at least at this vendor you get lobster! See the picture in the comment!“
