“I work at Morsco HVAC supply in Carrolton. My manager buys 4 dozen breakfast Tacos about every other week on Fridays for the staff and customers. On this particular day the restaurant was having issues with their computer systems due to the recent storms. They had no way to process or view any transactions. The manager of the restaurant gave us 4 dozen breakfast tacos and simply trusted that we had already paid for them. Chris is the manager here and told us the story. He said he would 100% head back and verify that we were square with the restaurant.Taco Cabana saved our Friday breakfast promotion. They are the kind of business you want to support.Also the Tacos were pretty freaking good.“

“Khao-soi Curry noodles with the beef shank would highly recommend everything is fresh and packs an immense deep flavor. The dish has a lot of different textures that balance the eachother very well. Be mindful of the spice levels. The owner gave us some Thai sweet tea to help cool down another heavy hitter. Definitely need to try them.“

“We came to celebrate an anniversary with the family. We have never had breakfast/brunch here so it was nice to try different dishes besides the usual salads and sandwiches we get. We grabbed 5 dishes and shared amongst ourselves. We think the highlight was a very fluffy pancake with lemon and poppy seeds. The breakfast tacos were a bit on the bland side of things but everything else tasted fine. Kiddos drew and colored while waiting for the food. “Came from out of state to hunt this place down near my hotel and was not disappointed. Torchy's always delivers the goods and I had a good experience as usual. Food came out quick and hot, service was tremendous, and Joe did an amazing job keeping everyone happy. Even got my basketball game onto the TV for me as I watched and ate my grub. “We were driving through downtown Plano, looking for an adventure, and ready for anything to come our way .. when Mama Vicky's caught our eye. This tiny restaurant had impressive reviews, so we decided to try them. This was a new style of food for us, so we tried several items from their menu. We ordered a Cubana sandwich, chicken Sope, pork Pupas, and a beef taco. Be prepared to wait a hot minute because they make everything from scratch, order per order. Everything was fresh and delicious. Authentic mexican food. What made it exceptionally delicious for us was taking the lettuce, tomato, feta pieces that fell on our plate, and adding that to our beef taco. Oh yum! TIP: There are only 3 handicap parking spaces across the street, no crosswalks nearby, and this is a very busy street! All 3 handicap spots were full when we arrived, and they were full when we left. TIP: Parking is a beast! Be prepared to circle the downtown Plano area and walk a few blocks, especially during busy times. TIP: There are only 7 tables inside. Two tables hold 6+ people, and the rest are 4 tops. No outside seating.“

“This spot is CUTE! Definitely good for a girls get together or a date night. The tacos were very filling even for 2 tacos! I recommend the Carne Asada taco for sure, and the spicy chicken taco. Both meats were marinated overnight and it tasted like it was marinated for a week! Juicy, tasty and filling, that’s all I ask for in a taco haha. We ordered 4 different veggie tacos that are on the menu, and the one with Cauliflower was the best followed by panner and then the tofu one. We didn't really like the mushroom one, as it didn't have much flavor compared to the others. Their nacho chips are good with the avocado, and the totter tots were good too (though a little unhealthy.) I would surely recommend this place for a nice good lunch.“

“Stopped in for dinner after a day of running errands. The food was tasty.. roughly $6 per taco but a little larger than street tacos. The flavors all blended well. We got the grilled steak (2), chicken and waffle, and fish n’ hips taco with a side of elote and chips. The elote had a slight kick, but mostly mild and really good. Ask for extra queso fresco! The chips were a bit stale, but I love blue corn chips!“

“I love that some restaurants still respect and care for their customers and employees. My first time visiting and I have to say it was the best I e seen in a few years. The services is very much welcoming that makes you want to be a repeat visitor. Word of mouth is every nowadays and I could not stop talking about the Loco Asada Fries that we ate them 2 times in that day. (Si pica good la roja) Not too greasy tacos but enough grease for flavor. The rice was also fluffy and well done as well as the frijoles charros. The atmosphere was also good. They have a TV and 2 big projectors where they put movies or music. They have a jukebox and pool tables. It was also clean which is a huge plus. The cook which I am guessing is the owner super friendly man easy going. It's hard to find authentic real Mexican food where I live so this place made me happy :)“

It was my first time coming here and I felt rushed as if I knew the menu already and have tried what I liked before. Dont you hate when you feel pressured to order? I did not get the hot Cheeto flakes though, part of the being rushed part because I didn’t know until after I sat down that you could add that. The tacos are street sized tacos, which means they are small. But, they are so good! The seasoning and tenderness is spot on. Seating is a bit limited but thankfully you can sit and eat at the bar.“
