“The place is well maintained and clean. The food is very good. Although they have limited options but everything we ordered tasted so good. Fried rice quantity was more, more than one person can eat it, the chicken pho and tofu pho were delicious, steamed chicken momo 10/10. Wasn’t a fan of spring rolls but food was perfect.“

“I’m so mad at myself for all the times I drove by and never stopped in. This was some of the best wonton soup I’ve ever had. The wonton filling was delicious and very full inside. The broth was delicious. Now onto the egg roll. That was one of the best egg rolls I’ve had in many years. Tasted homemade and fresh. The lady at the counter was very nice. Food came out quick and the restaurant was very clean. I’ll definitely be back with a bigger appetite next time.“

“The pho broth is the story here! Best I’ve had in DFW. PLEASE don’t load your bowl with all the sauces. Enjoy the flavorful simplicity, you’ll thank me later, I promise! Charming little family owned and run shop with big to-go business and seating for a few lucky people to dine in.“

“Amazing food and service! We came in late tonight (Saturday) and had the most amazing server — so funny and loveable. The broth of our pho and bun bo hue was the best we’ve had in Dallas. We will be back!! Everyone should give this place a try.“

“**They close at 4pm**. This is usually our go-to place to get Com Thit Nuong and Cha Gio (is huge!!) and I was surprised to find their business hours had them open later. I was wrong on my last two visits on two separate days and was told most recently at 3:57pm that they were closing and all that was left was pho (which is also amazing!). The food is a notch above the rest ive had in the DFW area, the service is great for a mom and pop shop, and the price of food is always on point. Please update your site to reflect your real operating hours because I can imagine im not the onpy one disappointed and having to go elsewhere to eat when arriving at a closed restaurant.“

“Having been here in a while since moving a few years back. Finally came back after a horrible experience with the manager of Pho Bistro. The difference is night and day, the service was polite, the noodles didn't have a horrible plastic taste to them and the broth had wonderful flavor. Its a few more minutes of a drive but very worth it. I actually used to come here quite often when I lived in Mckinney and excited to see that it's stayed just as great as I remember 🤓“

“As a hardcore Vietnamese foodie, I can confidently say this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Plano. They serve dishes you almost never find in the DFW area outside of Garland or Grand Prairie—super authentic, delicious, and with portions that are huge. The staff is also super friendly, which makes the experience even better.
When my wife and I went last week, we ordered the combo bánh mì and the family meal for two. My jaw literally dropped when the food came out—I wasn’t exaggerating when I said I was shocked (and excited). The caramelized pork with egg (thịt kho), sweet and sour shrimp soup (canh chua), and chicken salad (gỏi gà) were all spot-on. Every dish was flavorful, authentic, and more than enough to feed us.
I’ve lived in Plano for almost 8 years now and remembered What the Pho back when it was inside 99 Ranch. I had no idea they had moved, and honestly, I’m a little sad I’ve been missing out all this time. The food is that good. Safe to say I’ll be coming back here regularly from now on.“

“I’ve been coming to this pho spot since high school — I’m 30 now so that’s 15 years deep. It’s still my go-to. I usually only eat twice a day and I try to keep it clean and feel good after I eat, and this place always hits
My usual is the P9 extra large with extra meat plus a bunch of lime and jalapeño. That one bowl keeps me full and feeling right all day. For real, try that and see how your body feels after
The food’s always consistent, packed with flavor, and never leaves you feeling heavy. It’s just one of those spots that always delivers“

“I tried the tofu pho and it was delicious! The broth was flavorful but light, and the tofu was cooked perfectly—soft and satisfying. Everything tasted fresh, and the portion was generous without being overwhelming. Definitely a great spot if you want something comforting but not too heavy. I’ll be coming back for more!“

“Hands down one of the best bowls of pho I have ever had in front of me. The broth is rich, flavorful, savory, and kind of sweet. DO NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED about the portions. The bowl, I fear, was the size of my big head (kind of). My family usually does not get pho, but they really liked this place. The Banh mi here, guys, please get it. I haven't tried Banh mi from other places, but even my uncle (big fan of Banh mi) loves it here. The Banh Xeo here is really good too! Overall, this place is amazing. Right now, as I am writing this review, I yearn for the food here.“

“Both locations are good but this spot has better parking and more space.
Food:
Grilled Pork Banh Mi. My go to banh mi. Fresh bread and savory pork.
Pork Spring Rolls (2) were delicious. One of the few places that balance the amount of ingredients instead of loading it with vegetables and noodles where you don’t even get enough pork per bite. These were great!
Asian approved 👍🏼“

“I was craving some pho for lunch and this establishment is down the road from our office. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. I ordered the beef pho to go and took it back to the office to eat it, so the bowl in the picture is not theirs. The pho was good, but not the best I have had. The broth was not the richest I have had. I paid for extra meat and thought that I would receive a little more meat than I did. I will go back if I don’t want to drive out of my way to go to my favorite pho establishment.“

“First time visit -
Went here for late lunch/early dinner with my son. I ordered chicken pad Thai and my son chicken fried rice. Both very good portions for the price. Extremely yummy & fulfilling! Added jalapeños to my chicken pad thai 😋“

“Overall enjoyed my visit to Pho 78.
I’ve been told to try Bún bò Huê (allegedly “better than Pho”) for the longest and this place somewhat confirmed it. Well, only bc I enjoy a little spice in my food and it provided just the right amount. I would’ve prefered a different cut of meat (traditionally made w/ beef shank?), but overall it was rich, savory and enjoyable. 8/10
***disclaimer: I don’t like/care for soup or ramen in general, that’s why it wasn’t a 10/10***
Pas See Ew (drunken noodles with veggies and chicken) was also very delicious and hit the spot! It’s often overlooked bc of people’s obsession with Pas Thai. I loved it and will no longer order Pad Thai. 8.5/10
I also had Bánh Knot (mini shrimp pancakes) and were exceptional. Crunchy, tasty and small enough to eat in one bite. Especially wrapped around greens and dipped in the sauce. Truly obsessed with them and will go back to get these! 10/10“

“Awesome Vietnamese lunch from Saigon Spoon in Plano.
5 Spice Grilled Pork Rice Bowl (Cơm Thịt Nướng), 5 Spiced Grilled Pork Vermicelli Noodle Bowl (Bún Thịt Nướng), Beef Pho, and Cream Cheese Wontons. It was delicious and my picky kiddos devoured it. They even asked for more pho. And the wontons!!! Girls said it was filled with so much yumminess. Also, te.y made all the dishes to my diet/health restrictions. I wish the location was closer ☹
Kid-friendliness: Picky kids loved it and wanted more“

“Come for the pho, STAY for the sushi. Holy mother. Hawaii Roll, Dragon Lady, Tuna Avocado, and all the tuna sashimi. Best sushi in the area. You wouldn't think it since this is mainly a pho restaurant. The hospitality is unmatched, and you feel welcomed upon arriving. Not sure how this place got only 3.9 stars…“

“Super cute little restaurant! The outdoor patio space is really nice and the huge parking lot is awesome for parking a large trailer!
The food was excellent! I ordered the ginger seasame chicken salad and loved it! Perfect, filling portions and the jasmine tea is so good! I can't wait to come back and try the Bahn mi!“
