“A good place for pho and family homemade food on Stacy Rd in Allen. A friendly and relaxing place to have quick lunch and dinner. They serve delicious pho noodle bowls, beef or chicken pho, fried rice and noodle dish and authentic Bun Bo Hey (Spicy Hue Pho). I came for a pho but saw they have a good looking bun bo hue. Gave it a try and it was good. Spiciness level at 9 but you can ask spicy level 5 or 6. I might have to come by for beef pho and summer shrimp rolls for full review. If you are Asian food lover, you find this place good with food Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. Reasonable price and fast friendly service. Come by and check out yourself. The staffs are friendly, good server Sky and big shout to Duong, the chefs and family staffs. Good job keep Vietnamese to Allen community. Good food to enjoy but need improve cleanliness in restroom that would be 10/10. Highly recommend for visitors, local diner or Asian food lovers 🍜
Update: Come back for beef Pho. Very good and fresh. Highly recommended for any pho lovers.“

“I’m so mad at myself for all the times I drove by and never stopped in. This was some of the best wonton soup I’ve ever had. The wonton filling was delicious and very full inside. The broth was delicious. Now onto the egg roll. That was one of the best egg rolls I’ve had in many years. Tasted homemade and fresh. The lady at the counter was very nice. Food came out quick and the restaurant was very clean. I’ll definitely be back with a bigger appetite next time.“

“This restaurant has really good food by the night I went there they were seriously understaffed. I felt bad for the hostess/waitress/manager because she was very nice, especially for the stress she was under. The veggies (bean sprouts, lettuce, carrot slivers etc.) were super fresh and delicious. The cha gio was perfect and my com thit nuoung was perfectly cooked and flavorful.
I have to go back another time to see what they are like fully staffed.“

“As a hardcore Vietnamese foodie, I can confidently say this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Plano. They serve dishes you almost never find in the DFW area outside of Garland or Grand Prairie—super authentic, delicious, and with portions that are huge. The staff is also super friendly, which makes the experience even better.
When my wife and I went last week, we ordered the combo bánh mì and the family meal for two. My jaw literally dropped when the food came out—I wasn’t exaggerating when I said I was shocked (and excited). The caramelized pork with egg (thịt kho), sweet and sour shrimp soup (canh chua), and chicken salad (gỏi gà) were all spot-on. Every dish was flavorful, authentic, and more than enough to feed us.
I’ve lived in Plano for almost 8 years now and remembered What the Pho back when it was inside 99 Ranch. I had no idea they had moved, and honestly, I’m a little sad I’ve been missing out all this time. The food is that good. Safe to say I’ll be coming back here regularly from now on.“

“This little gem gave us a fantastic end to the week. Cozy and simple, the food tasted like it was made in a grandma's house—tasty and rich. The staff was very polite, sweet, inviting, and pleasant. The PHO was delicious, with meat of excellent quality, and you didn't feel the need to add much soy or spice to enhance the flavor—just a little hot sauce zing. The noodles were good, and silverware was offered as an optional accompaniment. There were plenty of parking spaces available, and it was easy to find one.“

“My husband and I were struggling to pick a place to eat in this cold weather, but one review (and the picture!) totally sold me. We ended up trying the trio sampler with meatballs, shrimp springroll, and the crunchy eggroll. The meatballs were a little small, but the flavor was on point. The price difference between a regular and large Pho is only $1…so of course we went big! Zero regrets — the Pho was delicious and perfect for this cold weather! Overall great service & food!“

“Hands down one of the best bowls of pho I have ever had in front of me. The broth is rich, flavorful, savory, and kind of sweet. DO NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED about the portions. The bowl, I fear, was the size of my big head (kind of). My family usually does not get pho, but they really liked this place. The Banh mi here, guys, please get it. I haven't tried Banh mi from other places, but even my uncle (big fan of Banh mi) loves it here. The Banh Xeo here is really good too! Overall, this place is amazing. Right now, as I am writing this review, I yearn for the food here.“

“I’ve been coming to this pho spot since high school — I’m 30 now so that’s 15 years deep. It’s still my go-to. I usually only eat twice a day and I try to keep it clean and feel good after I eat, and this place always hits
My usual is the P9 extra large with extra meat plus a bunch of lime and jalapeño. That one bowl keeps me full and feeling right all day. For real, try that and see how your body feels after
The food’s always consistent, packed with flavor, and never leaves you feeling heavy. It’s just one of those spots that always delivers“

“Both locations are good but this spot has better parking and more space.
Food:
Grilled Pork Banh Mi. My go to banh mi. Fresh bread and savory pork.
Pork Spring Rolls (2) were delicious. One of the few places that balance the amount of ingredients instead of loading it with vegetables and noodles where you don’t even get enough pork per bite. These were great!
Asian approved 👍🏼“

“We've passed by this place a million times, I finally decided to check it out with my husband(he's NOT open to trying new things). The food was FIRE!💯 Even my husband loved it! We each had a bowl of Pho with a shared side of wings.“

“Having been here in a while since moving a few years back. Finally came back after a horrible experience with the manager of Pho Bistro. The difference is night and day, the service was polite, the noodles didn't have a horrible plastic taste to them and the broth had wonderful flavor. Its a few more minutes of a drive but very worth it. I actually used to come here quite often when I lived in Mckinney and excited to see that it's stayed just as great as I remember 🤓“

“Overall enjoyed my visit to Pho 78.
I’ve been told to try Bún bò Huê (allegedly “better than Pho”) for the longest and this place somewhat confirmed it. Well, only bc I enjoy a little spice in my food and it provided just the right amount. I would’ve prefered a different cut of meat (traditionally made w/ beef shank?), but overall it was rich, savory and enjoyable. 8/10
***disclaimer: I don’t like/care for soup or ramen in general, that’s why it wasn’t a 10/10***
Pas See Ew (drunken noodles with veggies and chicken) was also very delicious and hit the spot! It’s often overlooked bc of people’s obsession with Pas Thai. I loved it and will no longer order Pad Thai. 8.5/10
I also had Bánh Knot (mini shrimp pancakes) and were exceptional. Crunchy, tasty and small enough to eat in one bite. Especially wrapped around greens and dipped in the sauce. Truly obsessed with them and will go back to get these! 10/10“

“First time visit -
Went here for late lunch/early dinner with my son. I ordered chicken pad Thai and my son chicken fried rice. Both very good portions for the price. Extremely yummy & fulfilling! Added jalapeños to my chicken pad thai 😋“

“We stopped in for Pho on a totally random day and were blown away! The broth was rich, flavorful, and clearly prepared the right way. The meat portions were generous—much more than most competitors in the area. This spot is truly a hidden gem and definitely a must-try!“

“A favorite place to visit when we are in McKinney, staff is always so friendly and attentive. Fried rice and pho are always a must but they also offer sushi, bento and boba teas. Get a side of their chili oil if you like it spicy :) . Always feel very welcomed here and I’m convinced they never forget a familiar face. Pho Bistro is definitely one of our favorites in the metroplex.“

“Portion sizes were on the smaller side, but overall, I’d definitely come back. The meat was tender and well-cooked, and the overall quality of the ingredients seemed pretty decent. One unique thing about this place is that they don’t bring out the usual plate of bean sprouts, basil, and other garnishes that typically accompany pho.
The spring rolls were tasty — the pork especially stood out — though they were a bit smaller than expected. The atmosphere was pleasant and family-friendly, with a nice little play area for kids. Overall, a cool little spot worth checking out.“
