“The first time we ate from this location, I would have rated it 2 stars.
My most recent visit, 7-13-25, all we purchased was the sides. Mashed potatoes and brown gravey, and 6 biscuits. The young lady was super nice, and they were busy at the drive through. She took my order, filled it all herself. She stated I came at a good time as I was getting their FRESH from the oven biscuits right then. She promptly completed my order and I was out of there in under 15 minutes. I was cooking the chicken myself at home. The only way we seem to get the regular sized drumstick/legs, as all fast food places the chickens have all shrunk and become flavorless.“

“The food was great. They got all my sauces, which never happened. I got the chicken noodle soup ? after having jaw surgery, and it was the perfect soup. I was extremely happy I was able to eat it. Plus, the vanilla milkshake was awesome, not too thick, but it was melted at all. Made my day better! ❤️ plus someone had cows so my husband got me one “

“The food here is ALWAYS so ridiculously delicious and cooked to perfection. My husband and I have been frequenting this place for the past 2 1/2 years and it never misses, always hits. The food is fried and seasoned perfectly. Go-to food items are fried chicken, fish, shrimp, hush puppies and dirty rice. I am so surprised that more people don't know about this place. Hidden gem for sure!“

“My food was actually really good! I traveled all the way from the JFK Churches location, where the service was terrible, and decided to try this one instead. I’m so glad I did! There was no line, we were greeted warmly, and the food was FRESH. Thank you so much!“

“Earlier this afternoon I was getting a to go order for my wife and went inside ...I get the food....and go back to my truck...and my battery had died....after standing outside with my hood up and cables out.... no one approached me....until one of the store directors....i can't remember his name ....but he came over and asked about the problem and then said he had a jumper pack we tried but failed, but he pulled his truck around and we hooked the cables...within a few minutes...she fires up and I am back on the road shout out to him....he needs a raise 🙌“

“Great staff and service on this shift! Asked for my order fresh and that’s exactly what they gave me. Wait time wasn’t too bad for 16 pieces! Will surely be coming back in the future! Manager on duty checked in as well on top of great staff!!

“We eat regularly at the Kingwood location. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They recently added coloring sheets for the kids and our girls really like that. The restaurant has a always clean and tidy.“
