In 1974 or 75 I was in high school and attended the college all star football game at Soldier Field. After the game Earl threw his elbow pad into the crowd. Guess who caught it? I wore it for two seasons and passed it down to a younger player. What does that mean for his food truck? As an homage I tried his truck. Staff were polite, food came out quick. Wow - don’t know if the bad reviews were on an off-day or I was here on a great day - but the brisket and bean & potato tacos were very good. Great flavor, a generous portion, and just as importantly (because we are at an airport) fast. In and out so I didn’t miss my connection. I will definitely try it again next time I pass through.

Service was quick. But for almost $6/taco, you’re getting some pre packaged salsa-del-sol.
