Between Antonelli's for cheese and this place for gelatto and small sweets (macroons, baklava, stroopwaffle), Duval's 43-45 corridor is a powerhouse of small-scale, high-quality business. The gelato here is comparable or better than the other-best-ice-cream I've had (Bent Spoon @Princeton, NJ), and certainly does the Europe proud. I'm told the proprietor studied gelato in school and it shows.
Some of the best gelato I’ve had in Austin! The customer service is fabulous and the flavors are exquisite!! I’ll be back to take a proper gelato photo.I loved the raspberry with chocolate bits & Stracciatella??
